All my jobs were done for 11 o' clock.
Oven cleaned,ironing done,bedding changed and washed,all cleaning done.
It's surprising how you can knock on when you are on own.

Hospital this morning for OH. Had his wound checked and the consultant came in to see it. he's happy with the way it's healing, but the biopsy results aren't back yet. Probably another couple of weeks. Luckily the stitches are dissolvable, so he doesn't have to have them taken out. There are quite a lot of them and there are two long scars down the back of his head, not very pleasant to look at!

Came back home via the solicitors to drop off yet more paperwork! Then popped in to Tesco to get a couple of bits and pieces. I felt quite uncomfortable as it felt really busy. I was glad to get out! Decided we'd have a Chinese takeaway tonight. Neither of us feel much like eating properly at the moment.

Don't feel like doing very much now that we're back home, but I think I might go and get some fresh air. It's much colder here today and the sun has gone again.

Hope all those ladies under the weather, soon get back to their normal selves. Take it easy xx

Busy afternoon, GS3 went into my loft to look for something for me, he came down with a hip flask and an overcoat ( both OH's) Didn't find what I sent him up there for. He likes nice things his brother is into tools, he is renovating some of my OH's

Been awake since 2am,tried to get back off,but no luck. Gave in 4am and got up.

In laws this morning,first job will be window cleaning.

Good morning and Happy Easter everyone,

I hate those sleepless nights Nan2.

No plans today. We may go to mum's bungalow to do some more sorting out. My cheek and jaw are very painful but I'm hoping its just the pain from lying on that side which wears off. I am double painkillered up and see how it goes. If I develop the dreaded dry socket (which they warned me I may as I have had it before) I imagine they will now be closed for bank holiday

Gem please make sure if its still like that by Tuesday get to dentist , remember what I was like the year before last when I had a tooth out and it got infected , I was in agony for almost 5 weeks , Plus you have already had the experience of the dreaded Dry socket that is horrendous , you really dont need that again xxx

WG poor OH the scars will heal it may look awful now but better than having the cells isnt it , how is he today ? How are you doing ? xxx

Plant Your GS sounds very dapper , at least OH's things are going to a good home

Not much to do today I did downstairs during night cleared my work tops and gave them a really good clean down ,
once B was up I stripped beds and cleaned the bedrooms and bathroom , then B hoovered them and stairs for me and flipped the mattress ,

Did a white wash now bedding in

Its dull but not bad at least its not raining ,

What are we all up too today ? anything exciting xx

I wasn't being anti-social yesterday, but our internet went down and has just come back up again. I've got a bit of catching up to do on emails, etc so I'll be back a bit later. xxx

Good morning, Gem, I agree with Oma, try and get your tooth? pain seen to, it shouldn't still be so sore.

I have been on my bike for my treatment, it is 20 degrees colder than Wednesday, it was 27 degrees and now 7!!!

DS2 and DIL came last night for a meal, it was easy for me, they brought it with them! It is his 50th birthday next week, my baby!!!!

I got the fly screens fitted and DS2 took the ones left for spare parts.

I have booked my second vaccine jab, it is next Friday afternoon.

Gemini, I agree with Oma, you need to see someone about your still painful gum if you can.

Oma and Nanto, sorry to hear you had very little sleep again. At least all your jobs are done.

Oma, thank you for your Easter card, I haven't been able to play it yet as my laptop is so ancient, will view it on my Ipad.

My grandson 3 was very rude about my very very old laptop and my almost as old Ipad. He thinks I should get a new Ipad with a keyboard. I feel a visit to JL to see what they cost, when they open.

No housework for me today, I did loads this week. I am going out to fill my car with petrol and look for a bird feeding station for GD1. I gave her mine but there was a piece missing, I must have taken it to the tip. Some years ago shops didn't open on Good Friday.

Good afternoon. Thank you Gem and Oma for the cards, So nice. It’s sunny here but very cold. DD popped over for coffee and it was nice to sit in the conservatory.

Had a bad night last night, my hip is playing up and it was so painful it woke me up. Have taken some strong painkillers this morning and it’s eased off a bit. I was kneeling down in the conservatory cleaning yesterday and I don’t think that helped. So having a rest today.

Im going to DDs for a meal on Sunday which will be nice and DGD is hoping to come back to see us at some point, They are getting ready for the restaurant reopening so,she has been very busy but excited too.

I have written in Mind, Body and Spirit about my tooth. I have an appointment at 3 pm tomorrow - in Hull

We didn't go to my mum's as I didn't really feel like doing anything. We popped out in the car to put an Easter card through my mum's friend's door, and had a game of Scrabble. And spent a lot of time on the phone.

So much for getting back on here today! I don't know where the time as gone, but I have got several large plants in spanking new pots and done some pruning, plus spent about 2 hours out with Eva, hoovered right through downstairs (another good crop of Eva-fur!) and cooked baked haddock in a 3-cheese sauce for Good Friday dinner. I don't think many people bother with fish for Good Friday, but I love fish anyway so why not!

I've just taken an hour out to watch Gardner's World and am ready for bed.

I'm going to have a lot of catching up to do tomorrow, but will have to be up early as the dog food delivery is due at sparrow's cough.

Feels chilly this morning.

Busy day for Daisy yesterday.

Going to the farm shop this morning. I only want some ground beef from there,but we will have a coffee.
Then onto the garden centre. I want some new tongs from the kitchen shop.
Next stop will be Asda,then home.

Have a nice shopping morning Nan2.

I did sleep last night, which surprised me. I have already been shopping though as I had run out of ibuprofen. Our local Sainsburys opens at 8. I had thought it was 7.30 until I checked online this morning. The big one a couple of miles away opens at 7, so I went there and was back home before 8.

OH is helping SIL with the decking again. I may or may not go with her. I have to go into the village later as I need a birthday balloon for GS2. It's for Tuesday, but today is when the lady will be in the card shop for order collection so she said I can buy one at the door. I have given each GC a helium birthday balloon every year since GD was 1, so I don't want to miss. I had to send GS2 one to be delivered to him last year.

A trip to Hull for the dentist this afternoon.
