I ended up having a busy day. I managed to get all the dog food into the freezer, which was a relief. I’ve swept all round the back garden - paths, patio, the lot! It doesn’t sound much but what with dodging the scaffolding, sorting out a few pots and other little jobs it took quite a while. Cooked trout with buttery sweet potato mash, spinach, carrots and broccoli spears. So plenty of fresh air, and although it as cold the sun felt quite warm for a while when the wind dropped.

Definitely ready for an early night - once we’ve made up the bed!

OH put up a curtain rail in the newly painted bedroom and we hung the new curtains. We are pleased with them 😊

I have been online , written a short story, and watched some TV and made a granary loaf.

OH is watching snooker now and I am taking myself off for a relaxing bath, with Oliver Twist!

It's bright but feels very cold here. Not that I have been outside to check!
Today we plan to plant out the dwarf tulips and primulas we bought the other day, into tubs near the front door, and some in the back garden.
We may also go for a walk - or we may not!

Bright but nippy ,
Gave a good clean through washed all doors etc B hoovered then had a shower ,
Washer on and apart from filling up the bird feeder that's me done .

I have taken pictures of my Dinning table and chairs im putting them up for sale ,
We rarely use it and I am sick of cleaning the Chrome legs ,

Im getting rid of my Glass coffee and side tables too , im going to buy wood easier to clean with the dog ,

Out with the old in with the new so to speak .

Sorry Oma, my mistake, I have found the two texts now. How are you going to tell Storm you are getting rid of his favourite table.

Knee a bit better, it doesn't hurt sitting resting, only when I move or walk on it. My physio GS2 is coming to live here for a couple of weeks, waiting for the completion on the house they are buying so perhaps he can put me right. His partner is going to spend the time with her parents. He is arriving with a van bringing the contents of their flat, so more furniture for the garage. They still have some wardrobes etc in there that are waiting to go into GD1's flat.

Will your mum be able to watch the snooker Gemini?

I wonder how WG is getting on house hunting this weekend, I hope she finds something. We shall be able to meet up for a coffee.

Good morning one and all. It's bright and sunny but very cold. We had quite a sharp frost last night.

We were just waking up when the scaffolders arrived this morning to take all the scaffolding down - very pleased to see them. The house looks less like a building site now.

I'm just waiting for my hair to dry then I'll go and do some gardening - well wrapped up!

Plant - I hope your GS2 can help with your knee. Your garage is very well-used as a furniture store, but it's great that the family keep coming back, and they seem to time it very well - one lot move out and another lot moves in.

Oma - furniture seems to come and go in your house, too! I don't suppose my solution to cleaning chrome legs on our kitchen furniture wouldn't appeal to you - we just don't look at them! Poor Storm, he will miss decorating your glass coffee table for you every time he comes. Hopefully he won't mistake wood for a juicy bone!

Gem - the tubs will look beautiful. Spring is definitely springing.

Nanto - I can almost smell that roast dinner.

Plant, I'm sure your GS will be able to help or advise about your knee. My mum can watch snooker when it is on certain channels and when I know it is on I tell them at the care home. Not on Eurosport though.

We played a game of Scrabble then got the planting done. Tubs planted up for Spring, and OH did a lot of garden tidying too. I came in when my back was too painful, and had my lunch. I had finished what I planned to do today anyway. I decided to watch a couple of episodes of Outnumbered and fell asleep! OH told me it had started raining so I went to help her bring in the washing which woke me up!

Oma, i prefer wood furniture than glass.
A couple of years ago,we bought a glass tv stand for the conservatory, and i get fed up cleaning it.
I much prefer the wooden one had.

Nanto - I agree about glass tv stands - impossible to keep clean and very awkward to reach visible parts with you haven't got Mr Tickle arms.

I managed a bit of gardening, including giving the lawn a bit of a haircut. But I couldn't even get the fork into the bed I want to dig over. It was very cold, but it has warmed up a bit now.

Nanto Im getting sick of cleaning shiny things ,
Chrome and Glass are going

My table and chairs I loved apart from the feet of the chairs , and I love my glass Coffee table and side tables ,
But Storm also loves to sneeze on them and lick them so they have to go , I am toying with not having a Coffee table at all , the room is small so if I dont have one it will give us more room .

Gem take care of that back , Gardening is hard work , you must have needed the nap xxx

Daisy I bet your glad the garden is back to normal after your roof work , at least you can move around better , Did Eva sniff everything after they had gone
