Today the sun is really shining what a wonderful day it is,Oliver is stretched out in the sun across the window getting the ray's he will move as the sun goes around lazy boy.

Oma I'm so pleased you had no reaction to your jab did they give you a date for the 2nd one ? Some clinics are giving next appt and some are saying they will contact you via Drs, I am still waiting for appt for my 2nd one I had the Oxford strain of the injection with no after effects at all.

Gemini my little grand daughter loves to help with cooking my son has set up her play kitchen in their kitchen and she helps to make cakes and biscuits a couple of times a week,she makes a lovely mess but she enjoys it so much,making up her own recipe's as she goes along.

I'm looking forward to being able to go over to Liverpool and visit the museums when they open again hopefully I shall be able to take my 2 x great grandchildren over on the train for the day they love looking at the trays of butterflies and spiders from all over the world in the World Museum we spend ages counting all the legs on the creepy's (uggh)

My GGD is 4 on Wednesday she will be at school as mummy is nursery assistant so DD will drop off prezzies for her on Sunday I need to go and buy little gift of toy cars for her brother as I hate to send for one and not the other,such a shame I won't be able to see her again but we will make it up soon,the years have gone so quickly.

No Glamm I didn't get a date but B did he went to our Nightingale Hospital , I went to our Drop in Centre

That trip with the GGc will be a joy after all this time away from them , hope GGD has a lovely Birthday xx

Cooking with my GS's was always a messy affair but lots of fun , mind you half the mixture on cakes and biscuits were eaten before it got to the oven and very little decorations escaped that fate either

Ladies - haven't some of us had an interesting and exciting day!

Grauntie can choose to play with two totally different substances, but at least the dreaded knitting machine has gone to a forever home. Gem will be making a very different substance, yummy chocolate brownies, Glamm is looking forward to a ride on a train under a river to count spiders' legs, Nanto has hung her bedding out, Oma is happy with her sore arm and two hours sleep, Plant likes the sound of one of Grauntie's deliveries and was planning to go out to a friend's.

I've spent the day keeping an eye on the number of pledges made by neighbours towards our neighbourhood bid for fibre cables to our houses to give us high speed broadband! We're about half way there!

Grauntie - one of the perks of living where we live is being able to get trailer fulls of amazing horse produce for free! There is even one stable which will lend you a big trailer - and load it up for you! Sadly, they never offered to wheel it down to our allotment and spread it out for us though!!

It's nice and sunny here, but there was a frost overnight.

Gem - we look forward to hearing how your zoom bake off went. GD1's school have been doing them too, and the children have loved them.

It's a Cooper day for us, and it will be interesting to see what he thinks of all the scaffolding!

I wonder who will have the most exciting day today.

GD and GS2 day. Beginning with a 10am class Zoom for GS where we will be making chocolate brownies. I will report back. The teacher said it is the last cookery session for this term, so phew!

Plant, the needles are out! All was going well until I came to the end of the ribbing only to find I had used the wrong sized needles! I shall persevere.

The hoss muck field was very muddy to say the least, but I dug five bags and I will get five more today. I have to say it was worth going just for the birdsong. Beautiful.
Daisy, fibre cables are going in everywhere here just now. Luckily we are not a private road.
Good luck with the brownies Gem, I think I would quite like to smear my face with the mixture rather than either face cream or manure.
Nanto2 I am super glad the machine has gone, it made me miserable every time I looked at it. I will spend the money on plants,etc. 😁

Sun is out but its nippy ,
Slept better last night , Gem my back is much better thanks , still sore a bit but im walking upright and can get in and out of the chair easy now so on the mend

Hope the Zoom cookery class goes well

Daisy what are you having done to the roof is it just slates ?

Nanto is it Fish and chip day ? I could really eat some decent fish and chips but our local one has changed hands and they are awful so greasy .

Waiting for the Plumber arriving he said before lunch ,
The stop tap under the sink has started to drip , I want it fixed before it decides to burst , its only a small drip but you never know do you .

B was going to tackle it but as its the main stop tap if it went wrong it would flood the kitchen .

Grauntie , at least you will be able to enjoy the plants not like the machine x

Good morning , I had a sleep day yesterday, felt tired all day, I went to bed at 6pm and slept to 6am, I am feeling better, I think it comes from the tablets I have for the allergy, I can't think of what else it could be. I have just cleaned through so must be feeling better.

I hope to have a bike ride later on, DS1 just phoned, he is on the way to the boat to arrange a few things.

Gem, enjoy making the brownies, children love baking.

Lizzie I have allery tablets that do that to me if i take one it makes me very sleepy , enjoy your bike ride blow the cobwebs away xx
