Good Tuesday morning everyone. It’s misty here this morning but the sun will hopefully come out later.

Lizzie - I’m glad you’re feeling a bit better, but don’t overdo it today.

Hello Nanto and your cute Piglet.

Gem, how did the quiz go last night?

I’m taking advantage of a few quiet minutes to say hello. The girls were quite late going to sleep last night and Cooper woke us up at 5.30 this morning wanting to play! OH went and let him in the garden but I couldn’t get back to sleep. I think we’ll just go with the flow today and see what happens. I’ll take the girls back home tonight but we’re keeping Cooper here all week.

        Good morning ladies.

Cute Piglet pic this morning Nan2.
Lizzie, good to hear the medicine is working. I thought that baby looked a good weight!
Oma, how are you feeling today?
Daisy I was joint third in last night's quiz. it was a good laugh as always! Have good GD and dog day
OH and team came 5th out of 49 teams at the Away match yesterday. They had a good day and said the course was beautiful.

GS1 day today. I am picking him up this morning on the way to the cinema. We are going to see The Croods 2. Neither of us have seen the first film but I'm sure we will pick it up!
Lunch out then back to ours, then I am taking him to his mixed martial arts class late afternoon. He doesn't usually go to the Tuesday class so I haven't taken him before. Apparently I stay.

I hope everyone is well. We haven't heard from Mimi, Sunshine or Grauntie for a while.
        Have a good day everyone,

Oma, it is so strange that you can't get to see a doctor, we have never had that bother here, I took my sample yesterday morning and the doctor phoned me back before lunch. Maybe a strange question but what are all these doctors doing if they are not seeing patients?

Yes, it is her first baby, she is 27 years old, they bought their first house last year. The eldest girl is 29 years old and she is expecting her first baby in October.

The sun is out, I have my sauce in the slow cooker but want to go to the village for a card and a few other things.

Gem, enjoy your day with GS1.

Oma, how disgusting, why should the chemist deal with something that the doctors get paid for. I hope you are feeling stronger today but don’t over do things. I have developed exema on my arm and legs after that very hot weather, I have tried various creams no change. I filled in the on-line questionnaire, had to send as photo, reply was doctor will ring me on Wednesday. I gather this is happening with most surgeries. Perhaps you should mention it when you go to check your bloods.

Lizzie, what a large baby to be born so quickly at home.

Daisy, you must be feeling so tired, waking up at that hour by Cooper at 5.30.

Gemini, Well done to Sue. I hope you both enjoy the film and lunch out.

Plant, it was a big baby to be born (so quickly) at home, luckily all went well. I have excema, well had it last year, I got some cream from the doctor and it cleared, it does flare up slightly now and again but with the cream is soon clears. I wonder if not seeing your doctors is the first step into a digital world of surgeries?

I think so Lizzie, frightening, I am sure it is a dangerous situation.

We were asking the same thing Lizzie what are the Drs doing ?

everyone seems to have the same gripe about the Drs up here , not sure what its like in other areas of the country .

Plant my MIL has been having the same trouble on her hands never had excema in her life now its on her hands and up her arm , strange isnt it maybe its a reaction to all the hand gel we are all using ?

Oma, I had never had excema, last year for the first, it has cleared and if I feel it coming up again I rub the cream on.

When my sister was ill she never got to see her doctor, which I found very strange, she did get to see a nurse, it is the same with my BIL, hasn't seen a doctor but they prescribe medicine for depression.

OH had his Asthma review over the phone two weeks ago , how the hell can they check breathing over the phone ?
What was he supposed to do Breath heavy and see what they thought

Oma, laughing at the heavy breathing! Is it the same all over the UK?

I think its difficult in most areas to get to see a Dr now Lizzie its shocking , No idea what the Drs are doing or how to see one , maybe if your leg was hanging off they would give you a sticking plaster

                              Hello again

I hope you feel much better soon Oma.
This difficulty in seeing GP is par for the course in most areas here I think. The friend I saw yesterday afternoon had even had to send in a picture of a swelling on her groin for the doctor to 'examine'!! She has her asthma review over the phone too. Our Dr's website more or less says 'lots of us are self isolating so please don't bother us'!!

GS1 and I had a nice trip out, I will write a separate thread about it later.
We are back here for a couple of hours before he has to get ready for martial arts. A lovely sunny afternoon but he is glued to screens!
Oma, I stay in and watch apparently. I will take my mask!

Good afternoon, a lovely day here.

We had a nice day yesterday, so good to spend time with DD and GD, a lovely lunch out and remembering P. I feel very tired today, haven’t been sleeping well so haven’t done much. My gardener came this morning so I watched someone else working!

The Doctor situation here doesn’t seem too bad. Telephone appointments first, usually the same or next day then they see you if they feel it’s necessary. My friend is seeing her doctor on Friday without much trouble. I saw the nurse for my BP review which is what I did anyway, Doc rang me the next day to discuss so I was happy with that. Mind you, I haven’t requested a face to face appointment so can’t really comment on that.

Hope you’ve all had a good day. 🌞
