Late getting up, lovely and sunny and thank-goodness the wind has dropped. I have no plans, might have a walk around the garden and do the odd job.

Gemini, I am so sorry you will not be able to see your mum on her birthday, would be good if you can talk to her.

No appt. needed for a visit to our tips, there are three within a short drive.

Good morning. Very sunny here but a chilly wind.

Had a nice long chat with Clover this morning, then went our for a walk. I must try and get motivated to have a walk every day. Now home having a coffee before I pop over to say goodbye to GD as she leaves today to start her new job on Monday. She’s only an hour away so we will see her fairly often.

This afternoon I’m going to have a tidy up in the spare bedroom, which doubles as an office/craft room. It’s been a dumping ground for the last few months so really needs it. At least, that’s the plan.....it could all go awry 🙄

As Enfys said we had a lovely chat this morning.
I then went for a walk as well, firstly to get a paper then on round the cliffs .The sea was really calm after all the rough winds we’ve had lately.
When I got back I checked my bank on- line then ordered a new Carbon Monoxide alarm. I cleverly dropped the previous one down the stairs which didn’t do it much good!
I hope everyone has had a good day and enjoys the evening.

We had a good night last night, mixing our own cocktails was fun!
Mum had a very nice birthday, and I will update on her thread.

This morning some of us are having a Zoom get together. In lieu of the lovely weekend away we would usually have had by this time of year.
I have also registered to have a flu jab today, any time between 9 and 1. It is from the pharmacy but at the village hall.
Friends of ours have been on holiday to the Scilly Isles, Cornwall, Pool, Bath etc and came home yesterday. We are invited round for a catch up this afternoon.

Bit of a detour this morning ,
was popping to Lidl but DD rang ,
Buzz the naughty cat who beats up Storm had a seizure ,

He has a very serious heart problem that isnt being treated as he gets stressed when has to have meds ,
Vet said best let him live life without rather than put him through that everyday .

He could live months or even years but this is the first Seizure he's had ,
GS is very upset as Buzz sleeps with him every night and is his cat but he knows he could loss him anytime .

It may be just a one off you never know , a appointment for Vets in the morning see what he thinks , poor Buzz

When our Zoom meeting was postponed I went off for my flu jab instead. I had booked in for today and you turn up any time between 9 and 1, so that's done now.
We thought we were going to friends this afternoon, but I had a text this morning asking if 2ish was a good time for them to come! I said it was fine but that it was a good job they texted as we thought (as they had done the inviting) that we were going to them. We commented to each other that people often invite themselves to us. We must be too welcoming

Oh poor Buzz, very upsetting when pets are poorly.

GS1 and his family came to lunch at DD, she had made lasagne, I made apple pie, lovely to see them. They have gone home now. DD and Sil have gone to see his mother in the nursing home.
