Oma - poor Buzz. It is a worry when our furry family members are ill, and even worse when you know how much they mean to a GC (even if they are old enough to grow a beard!). I do hope Buzz is ok.

Gem - your friends must know they always get a warm welcome from you and S.

Plant - lasagne and apple pie - I would have come if you'd invited me.

I hope the new time of 8pm for Zooming works for everyone - and I hope we get the system working! OH has proved very useful helping with sending emails via Zoom etc. Fingers and a few other things crossed. Just off to take my curlers out!!

          Morning Nanto and everyone.

Oma hope Buzz is okay today. I expect you weren’t the only one awake in the night with the police activity going on in the small hours.

Dull here this morning and rain forecast.

No special plans today except to ring the lady I work for to see what she thinks about me going to them this week because of our new Covid regulations.

I had a text to say to say my prescription is ready at the Pharmacy. I only had one two weeks ago and they should be monthly so I don’t know what’s going on! I’ll leave it until this afternoon when I hope it will be quieter. There’s usually a bit of a rush there on a Monday morning 😀

          Have a good day ladies.

            Good morning ladies.

It is autumnal Nan2. The mornings of leisurely outdoor breakfasts are gone I fear.
I wonder if the police found their suspect Oma?
Clover, thanks for the reminder! I had a text the other day to say my prescription is ready at the pharmacy. I must go and get it.

It was so nice to see and hear some of you on Zoom last night. It is several months since I have seen Oma and B, a year since I last saw Daisy and Plant, much longer Clover and Enfys. Next time fingers crossed anyone who wanted to join and didn't manage last night it will be able to. I think we did well actually!

Monday is now my library afternoon so I will be there. Quiz with friends on WhatsApp at 8pm. Those are my plans for today.

I hope today is a good one, and the start of a good week for all

Good Monday morning everyone. Nanto - your graphic makes me think of warmer climes - such exotic birds.

Oma - I hope the Police found who they were looking for. How is Buzz today? My OH said how nice it was to say hello to B yesterday.

Clover - I hope you can sort things out with your lady. She was so pleased to see you back, I'm sure she won't want to lose you again.

Gem - it's quite chilly here this morning and even the thought of breakfast in the garden makes me shiver! Enjoy your library shift and your quiz tonight.

It was lovely to see friends on Zoom last night. We'll definitely do it again, and hope to see as many as want to join in. The second way of viewing was better, wasn't it - was it called Gallery view? I'd like to work out why we lost two people though.

We have to go out shopping sometime today - and to the bank, and perhaps the garden centre to get some fleece for tender plants for the winter plus a few other odds and ends.

              Have a good day everyone.

Oma, not much chance of sleeping with that racket going on in the night.

With the help of my DD I was able to join in with the Zoom gathering, We missed you Nanto and WG. Has anyone heard from Nana? I think I will message her.
Nice and sunny so I think I will plant some wallflowers. The petunias are looking sad, I think I will take those out of the containers ready to fill with bulbs. The African Marigold are still going strong.

Clover, if you are happy to go to help your ladies, I am sure they would welcome you.

Plant, Nana does look in here most days, and has posted on FB. I think she's just taking a posting break as Oma says.
Oma, we would love to meet you both for lunch. I'm not sure what your restrictions are? Is it just visiting within households which isn't allowed?

Back to updating tomorrows Tesco order..

I have come in now but I managed a few jobs in the garden, it is nice out. Got the wallflowers in and removed the petunias in the urns and pots, ready for planting the pansies I need to take out some soil and replace it before I put the bulbs and pansies in.

                            Spoke to DD about Buzz

AS it happened while he was chasing Storm down the stairs and beating him up in the corner , the vet thinks the strain made his heart jolt ,
He thinks he may have been having several but as they only last about 1 minute she may not have noticed ,

Nothing they can do really as dont want him put through tests that will cause more stress , just let him live as normal a life as she can let nature look after him ,
Apart from his heart he is fine

Unfortunately it wont stop him chasing Storm

DD said poor Storm started to whimper and cry when Buzz keeled over and tried to nudge him up again then hid behind Josh ,
she said his eyes were like saucers you could see he was scared
He must have thought he had done it .

I tried to have a Nana nap after lunch but gave up ,
twice the doorbell went , first a parcel then the window cleaner then the phone rang , had i had a accident that wasnt my fault type of call

                            Gave up trying

Not a bad day weatherwise, nice and sunny.
In fact i washed the the bathrobes this morning. Drying nicely in the sun, considering they are quite thick.
Perfume arrived this morning, that i ordered for one of GD2 birthday presents. its not until November though.

I didn't realise that restrictions on travel were in place in England for some people.

Plant - how lovely to have wallflowers in the spring. I haven't grown them for years but think they're lovely.

Oma - I'm glad Buzz seems ok at the moment - long may it last. Poor Storm he must have wondered what was happening - perhaps he picked up on it in the same way that some dogs know when their owners are having a health crisis.

It's still chilly here today. I was glad I'd put a warm jacket on to go shopping this morning. But I'm glad you've got some sun to dry your washing, Nanto. Your GD2's perfume has arrived in good time. I was surprised in Superdrug this morning they asked if I wanted to try some perfume. It didn't seem a great idea to be spraying anything around, even if it does smell nice.

Gem - hope your library stint went well. Is it very busy?

Just off to take Eva out for a walk in the Forest - she was on her own most of the morning, but I think she just slept.
