Oh, Lizzie - how wonderful 60 tulips must look. Have you got a very large vase, or do you spread them around your home or share them out?

Glad the new steps are useful already.

Oma - there's been quite a bit of publicity recently hasn't there about football academies not treating their youngsters very well. But J is talented in so many ways, and has lots of options open to him, as well as a supportive family to help him make the best choices.

Plant - sorry to hear your warfarin check wasn't great. Look after yourself, and fingers crossed for the check up in two weeks.

Glamm, I don't think our binmen have a lie in, but they don't get to us until about 1 am most weeks - or even later sometimes.

Oh dear, I do hope Jim isn't 'difficult' about his care. He needs looking after doesn't he.

I'm glad your DS not being able to do the trial for Tranmere didn't put him of football completely, but he must have been so disappointed at the time.

Grauntie - I can just imagine you hiding from that knitting machine! Put it out of its misery and shove it back in the cupboard, you know you want to. xx

With no fish and chips in sight, I'm just going to make a cottage pie for dinner tonight.

What a day I’ve had. On the phone again to Amazon as I hadn’t received the information they were going to email about recovering/closing my account. They seemed to think it could be a oro lem with my email so I was on the opine all afternoon to Virgin. Three different people checked it all thoroughly and couldnt find a problem so suggested I speak to Amazon again as they thought someone (the hacker) could have changed my email. Well, the upshot is Amazon now has another email for me, , luckily I had Peters email and also my landline number. Everyone was extremely he,Paul. Ut I was on hold on and off for ages.

Amazon have assured me that my account can’t be used and is under investigation. However, I know what the b......... was after! They tried to get a £2000 Amazon Card top up! Thank goodness I didn’t leave my card details on the account. So, if anyone has an Amazon account I strongly suggest you remove your card/bank details and just input them when you need to. I’d hate anyone to get hacked and lose out financially.

I now feel shattered, it takes it out of you all this. Hope everyon is OK, havent read back, but hope you all have a nice restful evening.

Enfys - what an absolute nightmare for you. I think your persistence has paid off though, and thank goodness Amazon didn't have your bank details. I hope you are now sitting with your feet up, a glass of something nice in hand and a feeling of pride that you sorted it all out. Sending big hugs.

Glamma, I had heard that more people were to be added to the shielding list. I'm glad to hear your neighbour is doing well and I hope he accepts the help he needs when he gets home.
Oma, I think the hedgehogs may still be hibernating. When the temperatures rise a bit they sometimes wake up and look for food, then go back into hibernation. We will know when they are out of hibernation when food is gone every day. Then we will set the night camera up to see if there is one or more than one.
Enfys, what a nightmare it has all been for you.
Lizzie, I buy two bunches of tulips at a time when they are in season and put them in a round glass bowl.

Enfys, they don't realise what they put people through by doing this. I never left my details on any site but they were into all my accounts! I hope it is settled for you now.

                        Good morning everyone. Saturday again

Enjoy your trip out Nan2. Much more pleasant when the weather is milder.
Oma I don't think I have even been to any shop for 7 am We usually have croissants on Saturday morning, but I think we may have run out of frozen ones

We will go over to my mum's house today turn the heaters down now it is milder.
                        No other plans today.
My friend C started to feel ill after her jab as yesterday went on. I hope she's feeling better today. They were told, which I had already heard, that you were much more likely to have side effects if you have had Covid.

Take care ladies, I hope something nice happens for you today.

It is like summer here!! 18 degrees forecast, -15 in places last week so that is a huge difference! No more skating!!!! DS1 went to see the boat yesterday and drove home over the "Aflsuit Dyke", that joins North Holland to Friesland, he said there is still ice on the water and with the wind it has "shelved", he said it was amazing to see.

                              Good Saturday morning everyone.

It's much warmer here, but a bit drizzly. It would be nice to have some sun to dry things out a bit.

Nanto - thank you for the pretty graphic. What a busy, exciting day ahead. Enjoy it.

Oma - warm croissants sound lovely!

Enfys - it's amazing how various clubs and societies have adapted to Zoom meetings during lockdown. You'll enjoy all the family history chat. It reminds me I still haven't got to grips with mine yet!

Gem - your poor friend. I hope she's ok. I wonder if the vaccine hits harder in some way if you've already had Covid? Yes, I think you can safely turn down the heating in your mum's house at the moment. It was 11C when I took Eva for a walk about 10 pm yesterday!

Lizzie - what amazing photos. It looks like some kind of frozen lunar landscape. You'll be needing your sunglasses and sun cream at this rate.

No plans for me today. I'd like to get out in the garden but it's too wet, but I bought some little primroses in the garden centre this week, so I might pot those up for a bit of colour on the front door step. I love primroses - they are so cheery in awful weather and seems to keep flowering no matter what's thrown at them.

Breaking News...........They have the keys of the flat. GD's partner was looking for a van to move the furniture from the garage but GD wants to go and assess what if anything needs doing, she would like to shampoo the carpets for instance and they need to get some curtains unless they have left them. In view of the virus, I would like them to give the place a good clean.
GD said she thought her brother GS2 and his partner are moving in until they get the keys of their flat in London, so the garage will be full again. Never a dull moment here.

Lizzie what an amazing sight, must have been very cold there.

Nanto, enjoy your day out and about.

We were promised a high temp. today but it looks a bit dull. I would love to pop out and cut the three clematis we have, they are shooting now. Apart from that I will watch the action next door. No rugby today.
