Oma, just what I said the other day, they grow up too fast and at the same time we are getting older! A good idea to have the lessons, the roads are so busy nowadays and they need the experience.

Gem, I’m still chuckling at the very thought of a knitted swimsuit...🤣, especially with my knitting!
Our Tangent club had a fashion show a few years ago. One of the members knitted a multi coloured full swimsuit for another member’s husband to model as the finale. He did it with such style it brought the house down.
Plant, the bikini days are long gone. The made effort wasn’t bad but the leg holes need re-cutting. I did it as a try out with some fabric I have in my stash and the help of YouTube. I’ll have another go another day, it wasn’t that difficult, surprisingly.
Oma, what a great idea. It must help a lot if the pupil can already control the car.

Good morning, still far too hot here! We did have a thunderstorm last night with very little rain, so humid at the moment.

Grauntie, I love my swimsuit, well, when I get to wear it again, a few of the women out of our group bought one from the same shop when they saw what a good fit mine was.

Oma, face is fine, not painful, it is covered with a dressing which I changed when I washed my hair. I look like scarface, I hope the scar will not be too noticeable. You are soft with your GS like me, can't resist spoiling them. I have just bought my GS2 a spade, I like to encourage their gardening interest as neither of my children are interested in gardening, it skipped a generation. I am sure he will make a good driver.

Clover, It must seem very strange for you to go for a walk without G, take things slowly.

I shopped with GD in Waitrose for the first time yesterday, it was very quiet and easy to keep a distance from other shoppers. GD1 does like to look after me, I shall miss her when they move. I also went to our main hospital to pick up some tablets from the pharmacy and I was appalled at the lack of care taken compared with the hospital I had my minor op. There was a lady at the door with a thermometer around her neck, I waited and asked if she was going to take my temp. and she replied they were not doing that anymore!! It was quite crowded, people without masks, why when we have to wear them in shops? Fortunately the pharmacy is quite close to the entrance so collected my tablets and got out as fast as I could. I was directed to another door to exit and found there was one very small bottle of sanitiser. I have written a complaint to the hospital and hope I don't have to go there in the near future.

Good Sunday morning everyone.

We’ve got patchy sunshine and it’s a bit warmer than yesterday.

WeRe staying at DS’s for now. There’s such a lot to do as they are still finishing off various jobs from having a big extension built, and we definitely don’t want DS1 to be worrying about getting them done. OH ha s just taken him to get some bits they need - DS can’t drive at the moment, and DIL and I are still sorting out the room she’s working from.

It was cold yesterday,we had the heating on.

Eating out this afternoon. Going to the same pub restaurant as we went to last Monday.

Weather quiet here this morning, hope Gemini is managing to enjoy her short break.

Had a nice lunch with DS, Dil and GS3 yesterday, came home to find GS1, his wife and the little ones here. Their DD who is now almost 11months was happily walking around the furniture,. Everything has to be out of her reach now (I am sure you all remember it well).

Exciting day today, GD1 should find out what sex the baby is, I don't think her partner will be allowed in again.

Enjoy your trip out Oma. Perhaps B is going to buy you a present.

I am fine, having a nice time. No wi fi though and phone signal weak and that and 4G patchy!
So I will catch up with everyone and talk about our holiday once back to civilisation!!
