    Good afternoon everyone. 😀

We’ve had the lot here this morning - sunshine, heavy rain and thunder. We’re back to sun again now. No special plans for today, we’re like Nanto, just going with the flow.

DS is taking it easy, with lots of supervision. OH is sorting out some paperwork for them, and I am on general kitchen and tea-making duties. 😀

I am sure they are very pleased to have your support Daisy

Very disappointed, GD1 had a scan this morning, they were unable to tell her the sex this time.

Aww, Plant, that does happen sometimes, doesn’t it, but it isn’t any less disappointing when it does happen. 😥

Could the family club together for a 4D scan if that would do the trick?

Aww plant, how disappointing they couldn't tell them the sex.

We had a lovely meal out this afternoon, then we went to D2 and N's house for a cuppa.

Weather was a bit miserable this morning, but the sun came out in the afternoon.
About ½ past 6 though, the heavens opened. Very heavy rain and hailstones.

            Evening All,
A very boring day here. DD2 sent pics of a terrific hail storm where she lives, the other end of Essex. Their high street was a river, very scary. 😳
Luckily we just had a rumble or two of thunder.
It’s been an eating kind of day! I have made cheese scones and eaten too many, picked at the roasted figs and then OH came home with a chocolate orange! I feel very fat now.
Nothing worth watching on TV so I will read a book and have an early night

Good morning Nanto and everyone who drops in later.

Grauntie, I bet those hailstones hurt if your DD2 was out in them. 😨

Nanto, we’ve got sunshine at the moment, but don’t know if it will last!

We we hope we will get some news about DS1 later today. It s hard to make any plans until we know when they’re going to start treatment and what it will be. 😥.

Meanwhile the the man is still here hanging doors all over the house. The dust is catching up with us again.

I hope Gem has had a good time and avoided the weather extremes. Safe journey home, Gem. Xx

                        Thanks Daisy.
                        Morning all.
I will write about our weekend later, but we have been lucky with the weather! I think it rained every night, all yesterday evening (we were all cosily tucked into a pod eating and chatting) and 5 minute shower yesterday afternoon. We were never cold and wore our sunglasses a few times 😎
We have to be out oh here by 10. We will meet our friends then and decide what today holds. It is raining now, so it may be we just go home, stopping for coffee on the way . We had planned to do something else around here if fine.
I hope all are OK. Catch up later x

Sunny here atm but the sky looks like rain. I am planning a trip to one of our local shops, out of eggs and bananas.Need to push to stick thing around.

Daisy, I am sure you and your OH are most welcome, not a good time for your DS and Dil. Hope you get some good news today.

Gemini, sounds like you had a nice break, safe journey home.

WG, how is your Sil, has his treatment started, has he got to have an operation?

Hope you are feeling better Glam.

Really missing our meet-up this year. No holiday plans for me, my NT holiday was cancelled.

Hello everyone, I'm back home. Very tired, but I'm not sure why! Very poor night sleep the first night (as did we all, when I write about our holiday I will explain!) but OK the second and third nights. I will catch up with all your news and write mine.

Daisy, I hope you get some news on your DS's treatment today and that you can go home soon.
I hope they get that stitch out for you Oma.
Wow, those are some hailstones Grauntie!
Plant, I know you must be missing your holidays. I am glad we had this little break but am still missing a proper holiday and to go somewhere of my choosing. I'm sad about us all not meeting up too
What a shame the baby was being modest!

Off to read around the forum now.
