It is strange having free days. It makes you lazy!
I have hoovered and steamed floors though , and hung some washing out.

We started gardening about 10ish. Finished about ½ past 11.
Hubby had just put mower and hedgetrimmer away,when it started raining.
So, we timed it well. Didn't rain much though.
Both of us went in the shower,then had dinner.
I finished my housework and its been a free day since.

It was raining a bit first thing, and the day has been cloudy and cool. Not really a day for enjoying gardening unless driven by necessity.

Reporting in late today, to be honest it's taken me two days to get over cutting our very long hedge on Thursday.
As OH isn't the greatest of health I do try to help him as best I can , he does a bit then has a rest while I take over .
By the time we have finished we are both totally wrecked.
I've told him either we move (jokingly) to some where with a smaller garden or we pay someone to cut the hedge for us . Privet hedge grows so fast doesn't it.

Wall to wall sunshine this morning.

Diced chicken,leeks,mushrooms and potatoes. making some pies tomorrow for the freezer.

Not sure what we will be doing today. I know ironing is on my list.

Sunshine here too did a load of darks I will iron those later , put fresh bedding on and had a shower .
As soon as it gets brighter at the front I'm going to give the car a wash and hoover out

Sunny here too Nan2 but looks a bit breezy.
My car could do with a hoover etc Oma. OH did hers last week.
Mimi, I think you need to get someone to cut your hedge, they are a big job. When my dad got too old to manage theirs they had a brick wall built at the front, and their lovely neighbours took over cutting both sides of the adjoining hedge at the side.

An exciting day! We will collect 2 roast pork lunches from the car park of a local pub at 2pm. The table will be set at home, wine glasses filled. The new version of eating out

Good morning everyone. It's a bit breezy here, but the sun's shining.

We had a bit of a late night last night - I'll write about it elsewhere later, in the meantime I need to get a shower and get dressed. Suddenly I seem to have a lot to do today. (Nothing bad, just 'stuff')

We have sunshine back today, hope it lasts. No plans really apart from a chat on line with DS and DIL

My car is in the garage, has been for some weeks so I can't see if it needs a wash and a clean inside.

I agree Mimi you need to find someone to cut your hedge next time. Our hedges are mainly hawthorn and SIL only cuts them once a year. Problem here atm is that they are not collecting green waste and we have bins full and other containers full.

Nana I spoke to my Niece this morning , he had a better night pain in his legs and hands are improving. He can now feel his fingers . Temp still up and down and blood pressure playing games but she said he was quite chatty today thank you for asking xx
