Oh, Oma - what a pity the weather's spoilt your plans for a lazy day. I must admit while the sunshine lasts I'm ignoring the house! I ran the sucky up thing over the kitchen floor yesterday morning before I emptied it for the bin collection. And I've done minimal kitchen and bathroom cleaning. Sooner or later we'll be stuck indoors because of bad weather and I want to know I've made the most of the sunshine. If I could I'd send you some of our today. xx

I hope DD is ok, I know you are worrying about her. xxx

Thanks everyone , your kind words and understanding mean a lot. I have had a lot of messaging with mum's neighbour, my FB friend. It helped knowing she is next door.
Im up and dressed and last night's washing on the line. I'm sure your right about the nausea and kidneys Daisy .
I' ll go and see if mum is awake ( she drifts off) and keep her company.
Talk to you all later xx

Oma. I wish we could send you some of our sunshine. There is not a lot I can do in our garden now, one or two jobs I need someone taller to do. My DD seems to be using her spare time as she is not working, by baking and keeps bringing me slices of cake. Bang goes the diet.

                Morning all.

Gem I hope your mums move into the care home goes as well as you can hope for. I know it's not ideal but hopefully you can get some much needed rest .

Enfys, thinking of you . Hope you are both OK .

I got out of bed around 4ish to go to the bathroom but as soon as I stood up I had the most excruciating pain in my lower back travelling down my right leg . I had to drag my right foot along the floor as I wasn't able to lift it off the ground. By the time I had gotten to the bathroom I was in tears it was so bad . Then the feeling of fainting took over. OH managed to get me out of the bathroom and onto a seat in the kitchen. The feeling of nausea and fainting lasted for well over half an hour .
I tried to get back into bed but that's impossible. I am now on the sofa with a hot water bottle on my back feeling very cold and still in pain but not as bad as earlier.

                Stay safe and well ladies
Bring me sunshine in your smile.

Oh Mimi do you think it's maybe a trapped nerve ? If your feeling faint and sick it could be starting from your neck .
Dont move let yourself rest of xx

Mimi, could it be sciatica? That starts off with a pain either side of the lower back & shoots down the corresponding leg. Trapped nerve. You poor thing. In times like this you can do without extra worry. Hope it eases soon. Look on the NHS site & they maybe have some suggestions on how to get moving without too much pain, if that's what it is.

Gem, I'm so sorry that I missed your news about your mum. Our posts crossed. I hope you didn't think I was uncaring about your mum's situation. (A few pages back). It's heartbreaking reading your posts. It takes me back to my life a few years ago. So very sad. Hopefully it will be the best thing for your mum & she settles very soon. We're all sending our love & hugs to your mum, you & S & your family. An upsetting time for all your family. Xx

I hope all you Grans enjoy the oddest Easter Saturday, (in my lifetime that is). If worst comes to the worst I have 7 Easter Eggs in my wardrobe just sitting there.😉🤭

Gem I hope that your Mum's move goes well and she settles into her new environment. It will ease your worry knowing that she is in safe and professional place.

Take it easy over the next few days. Thinking of you and your family xx

I've got got terrible sciatica atm. One night one a tiny sofa, one on a sunlounger plus dashing up many times to see to mum quickly has done for my back and flared up sciatica. A couple of days rest ahead for me I think.

No worries Nana, posts do clash!

Oh dear so many poorly ones. It does sound like sciatica Mimi, I have only had it once, it is a horrid pain. If you still feel faint you should speak to a medic if possible.

Gemini, I am not surprised you have back pain sleeping like that for 2 nights.
