Gem - I hope you find your mum is a bit better. The fact that she wants to get up is encouraging.

Plant - I hadn't thought about the paint giving Oma a headache. Let's hope she stops before she starts painting the whole road. Oma - take care.

Nanto - I can picture you dancing down the aisles in Asda today. Take care.

The weather forecast for the week-end sounds good, especially Sunday, our local forecast is predicting up to 20C or 21, although I don't suppose we'll get that where we are. I predict a strong aroma of charred meat as neighbours fire up their barbecues. Today is dull and a bit chilly.

I didn't get the freezers sorted out yesterday, so that's a must do for today. Happy times.

Gem, thinking of you with the worries.

As daft as it sounds,i really enjoyed my trip to Asda.
When we got there, hubby said we aren't getting in that queue, but i said well i'm staying.
Not far from Asda is a nice riverside walk, so hubby went there. That was abit of excercise for him.
To be honest,i wasn't waiting long before i got in.
Managed to get everything on my list and more. Got everything in laws needed.

Plant it's this head cold I have it's knocking me for six . I finished the walls but gave up and had a nap .
As it's all nasal trying to sleep and breath isn't easy I keep snuffling awake
The paint is water based so little smell my headaches come from bending my neck back too much .

B did the very high rise on the stairs by attaching the roller to my broom handle . SIL was going to do it but we would have had to wait till it was safe for him to come in
My fault is I'm too impatient to wait that long .

Tomorrow I will do nothing i promise

My elderly neighbours phoned for a chat both of them have cold too . They are missing their family and GC but doing ok

            Hello ladies
            I have updated in YEO

As it's been a fairly nice day today we have been out in the garden .
I have sown some carrot seeds , planted up some strawberry plants that survived the winter into a planter and pulled all the dead heads off the daffodil plants . Also gave the shed a good tidy up .

Oma, these head colds are a real pain aren't they . DS has had one for over a week now , when he phones he sounds like ad that used to be on the TV years ago for Tunes menthol sweets !
Bring me sunshine in your smile.

                Hello again.
Mimi, good to see you. Join the Lockdown Club!
Oma, fresh air is good for colds, try to get into the garden.
Sometimes it is a nice change to go to a different shop Nan2.

My OH had to queue for a while to get into Tesco today.
I went to Cooplands in the village. Only 2 people in the shop at a time, on red circles. Others queued outside, all keeping a nice distance.
I wanted to get something to tempt mum.
She ate a hot sausage roll and a strawberry tart, so it was worth me queueing!
I went over at midday and mum was in the living room, which was a lovely sight. In pyjamas and dressing gown not dressed but she was up! I presumed carer had got her up but no! I looked at the notes and it said P was up and in the living room, so it was true.
It also said mum declined the offer to help wash and dress and walk to kitchen.
She did put the living room fire on for Mum, open the curtains and make her a cuppa.
The thought of this person coming was enough to get mum out of bed. I'm not sure how she managed as she's struggling to walk. I helped her to and from the bathroom with her walker this afternoon and it was painful to watch.
So, a brighter prospect than this time yesterday I'm glad to say, but still not easy.
I'm going back over to see what mum would like to eat, and to close her curtains.
The theory is as she got herself out of bed she can get herself back in tonight. So fingers crossed.

Pleased to hear that your mum is at least making an effort now Gem. Oma please take it steady. Nan2 looks promising at your end too. Mimi good to see you back joining in. Daisy I hope you managed to sort the freezers out today.

These meds are still turning night into day & vice versa. The last time I looked at the clock last night it was 4am then I woke at 11.30 this morning. To start my day off well I tune into a daily video from Cannon Hall Farm. It's had me in stitches these last two mornings. The farm is closed & they normally time Springtime lambing to the school holidays. 450 ewes this time.

                          Good morning. Beautiful sunshine here.

Our plans for today are gardening.
                          Have a good day everyone.

                            Good morning everyone.

I have no idea if mum got to bed, I hope so.
I hardly slept and when I did all my dreams were confused and muddled.

I feel mum is totally reliant on me to give her food, drink and everything. I even had to go back yesterday as she has pressed the wrong button on her remote and lost the telly.
I think DD2 is breaking the rules to visit her grandmother today, when we are there. Mum needs to see someone else and DD badly wants to support me.
DD3 came here yesterday when I was at mums to take OH's mini greenhouse which she doesn't use, and to pick up a veg box from our village greengrocer. She left me flowers and homemade cookies. I know they are all sorry that so much is falling on me and OH, especially at this time when everything is hard anyway.
We should all be setting of to Manchester together today, so it will be lovely to see at least one of my family.
                            Lovely sunny day here.

I hope everyone is well. I will dip in and out as much as I can, but you will understand if I am not here as much as usual, this is not an easy time.
                            Enjoy the sunshine ladies.

                              Morning ladies
Not a good start to the day for me . Wasn't my best during night . Got up went to loo Sneezed very hard my left ear popped very loudly and I hit the floor with a bang . Couldn't move the room was spinning so much . I went all clammy and white . Gave B a bit of a fright .
Luckily apart from my hip feeling a bit sore I'm ok managed to crawl into the spare room next to bathroom and lie on the bed .

I'm on Sofa now and not allowed to move . Spinning has stopped obviously it must have knocked my balance .
Bit scared to sneeze now . I admit defeat and won't be doing anything today .

Hope everyone else is ok Gem are you going to Mums today ?

Sun is out but still a bit chilly.
