Oma - I thought you would have a tickling stick, and a whole crowd of Diddy Men just waiting to encourage you to use it! Perhaps there was someone up there who knew how much I'd appreciate winning that Weeble House! It hasn't happened since. Hahaha

OH had just gone over to DS2's - they need to sort out the drain and/or soak away under their front garden so someone is going to rod it this afternoon and OH said he'd go and see what was happening and have a chat with them. I've got about an hour before I need to go to fetch the girls, and I think I'll put my feet up for a bit!

My GD will be pleased I have sorted their washing, she is working late tonight. I presume her partners mother and GM would be unable to repair his trousers.

Just had a walk around the garden, it is bitter out there so I have decided to stay indoors in the warm and do some knitting, perhaps watch a film.

Had a successful morning, shopping for new pots and pans. Went to Dunelm, had almost made my choice when DH suggested going into the Range next door, having a coffee and a quick look in there. I’m pleased I did.......got what I needed for almost half price. We took a magnet with us but they all said they were good for induction so fingers crossed. Two of my old pans are ok too, so we shall see.

Also did a bit of shopping in Lidl, haven’t been there for ages and it’s all changed round, I don’t think I’ll go again in a hurry.

DD is probably going to have my old cooker. I hadn’t realised that hers was playing up so that will be a help for them. Mine is OK, just looking a bit old but still cooks OK. They will bring their old one over here so the men can take it away when they deliver my new one. I’ve noted what you’ve said about the self cleaning oven, I’ll give it a go and see what it’s like.

its been lovely and sunny here, makes such a difference, I’ve had all the windows open and it’s lovely and fresh.

Plant, I’m just about to get my knitting out. I’m just finishing yet another pair of socks and I have a crochet blanket on the go too, using up all my scraps.

Just had a 30 minute nap on the sofa and now feel heavy headed I really had to fight myself awake I didn't want to open my eyes

B said he was watching TV but couldn't hear for my snoring

Been a busy but good day today. loads of jobs done,too numerous to mention.

Weather was beautiful this morning,but this afternoon it is sunshine and showers.

I picked GS1 up from school, and on the way back here we stopped at Home Bargains so he could choose some stickers for his Disney Countdown Chart. He chose pirate ones. We had a look round, then he wanted to go next door to Pets At Home to look at the animals. He had great fun looking at the fish, rabbits and guinea pigs, and the dog toys!!
It was nice not to have the dark drive home this week.

We are taking mam for her hospital appointment later.
Just a routine check for her pacemaker.

Will have time to do the ironing and one or two other little jobs.

B has to See Liver Dr today just a routine check on his HepB , so I will do a little shopping while he is there ,
She has a weekly clinic in our Health Centre next to shopping centre , very handy saves driving to Hospital .

Good morning Nan2, Oma and all who follow!
Frosty and sunny here.
The electrician has just arrived to sort out the little problem. Then, fingers crossed all our sockets will work again, and we will have fully functioning washing machine and dishwasher. Having though we didn't really need a dishwasher for two of us, several days of washing up has proved me wrong I am fed up of it!
We need to get some shopping done at some point today.

Hospital appt. for me today with a heart specialist to discuss why I had about a fortnight of atrial fibrulation before Christmas, it has taken this long to get an appt. I am happy to go as I haven't seen anyone since I was prescribed the drug I take some years ago. The device in my chest records when I have an episode. Need to get a shift on so will be back later.
