Good morning from sleepy head here.

My usual manic Tuesday was busier than usual, topped off by dog training overrunning by nearly half an hour and then having to make a longish detour home because the road into our village was closed. Then when I finally got to bed after midnight I couldn't get to sleep for a while - just overtired, I think. I didn't wake until nearly 9 am. I should have been going out with OH to see some friends this morning, but I've cried off!

It looks as though us Grannies and OHs are keeping the hospitals busy this morning. I hope all goes smoothly for everyone.

Enfys - it was a beautiful day yesterday - I had the windows wide open as well! You got a bargain with your new pots and pans! I'm sure your DD will be delighted to have your other cooker.

Oma - it sounds as though you could have done with a bit longer drowning out the TV for B! You need some good quality sleep, but enjoy your look round the shops while B's at the Hep clinic.

Nanto - I hope your MIL's appointment goes well.

Plant - it sounds as though you are overdue for that check up - especially after the episode before Christmas.

Gem - thank goodness everything is plumbed and plugged in and in full working order again. I wouldn't want to be without a dishwasher, even though it's just the two of us. I bet GS2 will love his sticker chart for the holiday countdown.

Oh dear, it's come over all gloomy and cloudy again - I was hoping for some sunshine!

Just catching up on you all, too many to answer! I will try later. My rash is going now and I am feeling better, my sister has pleuricy? and had a chest drain fitted yesterday, I do not know if that is the whole story but will hear more!

The sun is shining and lovely on the balcony, I thought I would move my plant table from one side of the balcony to the other, I do that each year, it wasn't standing right so turned it upside down and the legs were rotting!!!! I do like that table so had to think of a solution, I thought, if one of my neighbours happened to be home they could saw 2 cms off each leg and that would be fine, only thing was no one out and about so I had to do it myself, I am not good with sawing as I haven't the strength in my hands but it has turned out fine.

This keeps vanishing so hope to get it posted!

Lizzie, I'm glad you are feeling much better, and I hope your sister is soon on the mend. Well done on the sawing!

                        Great news Nan2.

I went to Drs this afternoon with what I suspected was a prolapse. She confirmed an anterior prolapse. I have been doing the pelvic floor exercises since I noticed it a few months ago.. She said it's not that bad as it's causing no bladder problems. Keep on doing the exercises and be referred to a women's physio (what fun) is the advice. She asked if I had difficult deliveries. I said I thought it was number 3 that did it
9 pound baby, long labour, forceps delivery!

We then did a big Sainsbury's shop. Feet up now, OH's turn to cook 😊

Gem my SIL had the same thing , luckily it didn't need any surgery just specific exercises that the hospital gave her ,
Having said that she did have 6 children so things got a little loose as they say

What wonders women have to go through getting some treatment now before your hols is a good idea , you don't need the problem getting worse while away xx

Nanto another worry off your mind , was MIL happier when you came out hearing that news

Lizzie you know to wait next time

Lizzie - I'm so glad you're feeling a bit better. You did a good job with the sawing - the plant table looks lovely. I hope your sister is soon on the mend now they've put the chest drain in.

Plant - all good news, which is great. I can understand the odd shoes, but not one wet sock! I presume you didn't put one wet sock on, so what happened?

Gem - I'm glad the prolapse isn't causing you any problems, but still better to get some physio - great fun, as you say. My GP almost expects any mum who has had a vaginal delivery or two to have at least a bit of prolapse!!! I don't know what he'd say about Oma's SIL after 6 babies! I hope you've had a delicious meal cooked for you! Is the golf course open again now?

Nanto - I'm sure your MIL feels better for knowing everything is working as it should. We just need some nice weather now to cheer her and FIL up a bit more. It's been a long winter for all of us.

I've had a pretty lazy day - I needed it! I've pottered round, ignoring the washing and ironing and stepping over the mounds of dog hairs everywhere. I did herby salmon and a salad for dinner, so that was quick and easy.

We're going supermarket shopping tomorrow morning, and I'd like a little look round the garden centre as well.

The only space in the car park was surrounded with a puddle, I didn't realise how deep it was, I just had to wade through it.

My GS 4 popped around this afternoon, we had a long chat, finished up feeding him. I was flattered that he spent so long chatting. When I visit their house he hardly says a word, the others are so chatty.

I have another hospital appt. at 9.15 tomorrow so will have to catch up later but then going out for a meal to celebrate DD's birthday.

Theplant table is very attractive, certainly good to preserve it. I bet you felt pleased with yourself for dealing with it yourself.

Gemini, sorry to hear you have a prolapse, keep up the excercises.

Nanto pleased to hear Mil check was okay.
