Good morning everyone. You all sound busy with plumbers & builders. This weather still seems to be causing havoc in it's wake.

Was pleased to see Clover's popped in to give us an update. I don't know how that lovely ladie's still standing. I hope there's an end to it all for her soon.

Off to the picture framer's later to get two paintings of miners framed. I wish there wasn't such a huge selection of frames to choose from though. I feel it's so important to make the right choice.🤞

Nana we went to picture framers a few weeks ago , I only wanted a plain white frame but there were so many to choose from , all had slight differences .

Chose 3 then made a choice from those and I am pleased with it but now wonder what the other ones would have been like

No plumbers or builders for us.

Been quite busy doing housework this morning, but all done now.

We're enjoying sun and showers, and I think it's a good few degrees warmer here than where you are, Oma, but it's still a bit chilly.

Builders aren't the only ones busy because of the weather. We got a quote from the tree surgeons to come and cut back all the neighbours' trees that overhang our garden - they can't come until the second week in March because they're so busy with tree damage from the storms!

Nana - when I used to help my DS2 in his shop, I used to love helping customers to choose picture frames (they do custom framing). There was always that look of delight when you helped them to find the perfect combination of frame and mount for their picture. It would quite often be something they'd never thought of, but when they saw it they could see it was just right. Good luck with finding your perfect match.

I've managed to get a load of washing in. I'd washed dog towels on Sunday evening so had to hoover out the machine to get rid of the hairs first.

Both dogs are fast asleep at the moment, so I'm having a few quiet minutes on here before going to cook lunch.

Well this morning while we were in Tesco I remembered them and bought some , now im not a lover of chocolate and orange together but these are delicious

Frames sorted & made. He's such an experienced framer that he made the frames in the time it took us to have a pub lunch & a little drive out in the countryside. Daisy I really could have done with your guidance. You're right Oma. It is a minefield.

OH meeting up with his golfing mates tomorrow at the golfing range. Too wet to play but it seems to be the next best thing. Wondered if S had thought of this Gem?

Plant I'll be posting about 40 knitted squares to you in the next couple of days. I tucked in all the ends for you. Gem put out a request for knitted sleeves for prem babies on FBk today so that's going to be my next knitting challenge.

Not raining this morning,and i can see brightness in the sky.

Lamb dinner today. Got a fillet in the slow cooker. Will serve it with roast potatoes,veggies and lamb gravy.
Oh, and yorkshire pudding.

Just finished cleaning all inside windows and mirrors , did housework during night , we were both unable to sleep so got up made a cupper and thought may as well .

Have to wait in for plumber he will get to us some time this morning , B got Dentist .

How are we all this morning ? its very cold but sun is out.

Cold and sunny here too.

My head was reeling after my planning lunch with DD2 yesterday! She brought her laptop and had a chart which was all colour coded for rides and family members. She will email it to me so I will be able to study it more before booking begins. It was lovely to have lunch with her and exciting to be planning. DD1 is a complete Disney novice, so will leave the decisions in my hands.
Not one phone call from mother all day. After the constant calls over the weekend it was a needed break. As OH said however, it would have been nice to hear the job was done!
Today mum has a dental appointment. I will have to collect her by 11.30. Very early for her. I have no idea if she has remembered as we didn't speak yesterday so I must ring her to remind her.
It is the AGM of the library group tomorrow. I have some preparation for that to do this afternoon.

Good morning everyone. It's nice and sunny here, but chilly.

Someone's coming today to replace my car windscreen. It got a bad stone chip a couple of weeks ago - it hit so hard I actually ducked as it was just over the steering wheel. There's one big chip and a few smaller ones where it then bounced. They could be here anytime between 8 and 5, so I'd better get a shower and get dressed.

I'm so impressed with Nanto and Oma - housework done, dinner prepared. You're both incredible. Oma I hope your plumber arrives as planned.

Gem - hopefully no news is good news with your mum's sunroom roof. Your DD2 sounds incredibly well-organised - my DIL1 would be the same. I hope your mum's dental appointment goes smoothly. She seemed to like this new dentist though, so fingers crossed. How is the library getting on? there's been a lot of publicity recently about them closing.

Let's hope this sunshine lasts for a bit.

Lovely sunny morning, just a little windy. I am going to the cinema with neighbour/friend to see Emma this afternoon, we shall have lunch first probably in M&S.

Gemini, all that planning would give me a headache. I hope your mother's dental appt. goes okay and that her conservatory roof is back soon.

Daisy, that does sound like a nasty windscreen chip. at least today the windscreens don't shatter.
