Well everyone seems to like todays graphic,so i will leave it.
Snowing off and on today.

Been to the chemist to pick up mams tablets,no prescription has come through.
Rung the surgery,for some reason or other it hasn't been sent.
It should be there this afternoon, so will go after dinner.

No cooking today,it's fish and chip day.

Wonder if Gem's new dishwasher has arrived.

I did a yoga session at a ‘wellbeing’ group that I usually attend on a Friday morning. I haven’t been for a couple of weeks because I’ve recently had a knee op. I didn’t realise it was yoga today and a turned up in jeans and a sweatshirt. Not the best attire for a yoga session, but I managed just fine. The trainer adapted some of the poses for me because I can’t kneel on my bad knee just yet, but it’s improving all the time. Relaxing afternoon in front of the TV is my plan for today.

It rained and rained today so we didn't go out. GS2 was happily amused all day doing a great variety of things. He and I painted some cardboard boxes brown for farm stables this afternoon.
The dishwasher arrived this morning. Still in the middle of the kitchen as we had things in the old dishwasher. We will get to it over the weekend. We did the first wash in the new washing machine.
I have been struggling (not totally successfully) to stay awake this evening, so I am on my way be bed now. Goodnight all.

Busy weekend getting dishwasher in and old one out , will you and S take it to tip or will someone collect it ?

We have tried to catch our scrap man for past couple of weeks and we keep missing him so ours went to tip this morning ( well yesterday morning now )

Going into town,meeting friends at the cafe.
I do need a bit of shopping though.
We will dine out,then go to the supermarket.

Good morning Nanto, and all who pop in later. A pretty graphic, but sadly I don't think we'll be seeing any rainbows today. It's dull, grey and, just for a change, raining. I think we had heavy rain during the night too - our garden's underwater again.

My OH is out for most of the day, so I'll get a few chores done while he's out. Such fun!

Good morning all. Another very windy and rainy night, and it rained all day yesterday.

Hope all the new machines are working well. We are talking about getting a new cooker, DH is doing his research but I’m not 100% sure yet. Any recommendations for a reliable electric cooker?

No plans here for the weekend, if the weather is as bad as forecast I think we will be staying home. Sunshine, hope your knee gets better soon, take it steady.

I heard back from doctor re my ECG, all OK but he thinks I should still have the 24 hour monitor so I need to get that organised. DH is still very lethargic. I asked him yesterday if he felt unwell but he said no, just fed up that he can’t get out and do all the little jobs that he would normally do in a flash. Everything is so wet we can’t even Potter about outside, I shall have to find him some little jobs indoors to keep him busy. I think we’ll get the Wii out and do some gentle exercise.

I feel so sorry for all the people who are flooded, I can’t imagine what it must be like. Hope everyone is safe and dry, have a good weekend. ☔️🌞 and keep safe from storm Jorge.

Nan2 apparently it rained very heavily here overnight. I must have been deeply asleep as I heard nothing!
Oma, there is a scrap man who comes around occasionally. We are trying to find out how to contact him, as the old washing machine is in the garage, and soon the dishwasher will have to go somewhere!
Enfys, this weather makes you lethargic. I was tired all day yesterday, with no real reason. Your OH will feel better once he can start doing things again.

No actual plans today. We have a few things to do over the weekend however. Get old dishwasher out and new one in (OH has never plumbed in a dishwasher so we may end up calling the experts in and paying!) Getting up Mum's soggy sunroom carpet, delivering LIbDem leaflets. None of them really pleasant or relaxing! I think we may go to the cinema at 6 to see the Tom Hanks film before it comes off. I haven't mentioned it to OH yet, but she is fan of TH so I think she will be up for it.
Tomorrow night the wider family are at DD3's to be given our wedding duties. My main duty is looking after my mum on the day, and helping amuse/watch GS2, so hopefully I won't be given too much more!
I got the bill for DD's wedding dress yesterday, which I had offered to buy, so it's been all expense here recently! Luckily my pension starts next month

Good morning ladies ,
First chance I have had to sit down , my usual Saturday morning washing everything down and cleaning bedrooms etc ,
Just need to hoover upstairs but hoover needs another bit charging I have hoovered everything downstairs plus the curtains and kitchen drawers , I don't know how they get so much crumbs in them , im sure someone crumbles biscuits in there during the night

Enfys when P is used to pottering about then he is stuck indoors it must be boring for him , what about getting him to clean out the cupboards or are you afraid he will chuck things out behind your back

We Bought a NEFF electric cooker a couple of weeks ago its lovely but so expensive I was shocked , honestly I could have had a mini holiday .
It depends what you want to spend and how you use it I suppose , Good luck on your search it isn't easy .

Daisy don't you find you can get more done when they go out , no why you doing that now ? or cant that wait ? do you fancy dodging hear or there
