Lovely and sunny here,quite pleasant outside. it was bitter cold first thing when i went out.

Daisy, MIL was pleased with he results.I think it gave her a bit of a lift.

Plumber been and gone.....he can talk for England, but is a nice bloke and does a very good job. He did our shower room a few years back and it's still looking good. Our cloakroom can be converted only needs a wall to be move to give more space. It's a plasterboard and the hall is on the other side so should be quite easy. He's costing it up and also just putting in a fitted unit in case we decide against the shower.

Has been a lovely day here, even got the washing dried. OH has been tackling the lawn and chopping up a clump of ivy which came off a tree in the wind. I've caught up on some housework, but am not doing any more now.

Throat easier but coughing like a sea lion now!

Think we should get a season ticket for the hospital, we're there for OH's bloods on Wednesday then back on Thursday for his eye treatment. The car will soon know the way there by itself!

I hope this sunshine stays for the wedding tomorrow!

It was quite mild out this afternoon so I went out the front and cleared away some lingering leaves .
I also have two little pine tree sort of shrubs in tall containers under the window and the tops are starting to die off going all brown took the centre's out that were dead so they look tidier till I get around to replacing them .

I took the Dyson ball cylinder hoover out and sucked up the leaves around the front door and drain covers . The Drive is desperate for a pressure wash and re sanding . We will do that when the weather gets better but for now it looks tidier

WeeGranny - it sounds as though your plumber is a treasure, and perhaps you will get your shower after all. How sad, I'm envious of you getting your washing dried outside! I think even if I put anything on our whirly thingy it would sink without trace in the mud!

I hope everything goes well for OH next week, and your cough will be better, too.

Oma - my OH Karcher'd our front drive and under the big tree a couple of weeks ago - and the leaves and mud are nearly as bad as ever!

Nanto - I do hope everything is ready for the Big Day tomorrow. What time is the wedding? Are you excited? I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a nice day for your GD. xxx

Daisy, we are both looking forward to the wedding. It's at 2pm.
GD2 popped in earlier for an hour, and said she is looking forward to it.
Bride and bridesmaids are all at the hotel now.
Spoke to GD1 about an hour ago,and she said she is only having one drink tonight.
I hope the weather is nice. But,if it rains we won't let it spoil their day.

I've been watching Crufts tonight - some beautiful dogs. A girl in our training class is showing one of her dogs tomorrow - they've worked very hard and the dog got a first and a second in a show last week, so it would be lovely if they got Best Bitch in their breed. Or best of Breed, or Best of Group!!

I took our mutt out for a walk in the Forest this afternoon. It was quite wet! She was very good and was walking nicely on a loose lead until she saw a another dog - about 200 yards away in the river. That was it. All good manners flew out of the window! I lead her off in a difference direction, but she kept turning round, looking for the other dog and was pulling and unsettled for the rest of the walk. Little madam!

All rooms at the hotel are full for tonight,but i don't know if they are all wedding guests.

It's a day of chores for me - catching up on everything I haven't done during the week!

Another sleepless night for you Oma
Nan2, I hope the day is lovely in every way.
Daisy, one of our regular quiz mates wasn't there last night as she had gone to Crufts.

Yesterday was very busy day for me, with child care, school runs, then out early evening, pretty much as soon as the GC left, for a meal and quiz at the golf club. Added to that the forum seeming erratic, I feel I hardly posted at all, but I managed to do a few.
I had a lovely day with the children. GD's little face looked so happy and proud when she came to my car parked outside the post office, having walked from school. She was with her friend and her mum, so not really alone, but she felt she was
The quiz was good. We were in a team of 4, and shared a big round table with another larger team. They were older than us and very funny, some witty characters, it was a fun evening.

Fastpass booking today for our first park day (Magic Kingdom on GS2's birthday) so I have an alarm set on my phone for 11.50am!
I also have the AGM minutes to make sense of and write up, and some online bills and banking to sort out.

GD1, her sister (chief bridesmaid) and my DD are off this morning to look at wedding dresses. I am going to prepare two puddings for tomorrow for our family lunch then a rugby match to watch this afternoon. I hope it is a good match.

Been to Aldi this morning it was empty but the shelves were packed high , nothing of shortage in there , talking to a member of staff and she said she hasn't noticed anyone stock piling up here , and no other Aldi's within the North east had reported panic buying , so if anyone needs Loo roll there is plenty to be had here

There was a little Black dog tied up outside a bit of a mongrel but had a sort of scotty face with a little beard , he was just sitting staring at the door ignoring everyone who spoke to him ,
Then his owner came out and you would have thought he hadn't seen him for weeks he was so excited , His owner only came out with milk so he cant have been left for long , it was one of those moments that make's you smile

Nothing much to do today I did everything downstairs during night , I did go to bed at 4 and slept till 7.30 but will flag by after lunch I think so I will have a nap
