Good morning, busy on here! Daisy, yes the girls get on well together, most of the time anyway.

Oma, lovely photo of the baby.

Mimi, I do hope the anti-biotics work, I am on my 4th cure, all different, just hope these work! I am so tired with these, the doctor phoned yesterday, yet again, worries me when they phone, she explained that if these don't work they will prescribe something else. I am usually at the gym at this time on a Friday morning, no energy so will give it a miss today.

Gem, try and find out why your back hurts so much when it was your knee you went for.

A bit of frost this morning. Hopefully we might see some sunshine today.

Mimi, hope the antibiotics kick in quickly.

Plant, your doctor seems to be doing a thorough job.

      Lizzie,hope you feel better soon.

        Good morning all.

Lizzie and Gem, yes thanks the antibiotics seem to be working.
Lizzie I hope your 4th cure works, it’s a b****r when it gets a hold and won’t let go it’s not surprising you have no energy.

I’m not doing much today, just a bit of tidying up and waiting for Tesco to arrive.

Anyone doing a Black Friday bargain hunt ?
Bring me sunshine in your smile.

          Good morning all.

Plant, Qwerty's FB account has a fictitious name and birthdate! You can't have an FB account without giving a birthdate. Btw, if anyone wants to check when members birthdays are, there is a list on the Birthdays section.
Mimi, good to hear the antibiotics are working. No Black Friday hunt for me.
Lizzie I hope they can sort it out for you too.

GS2 day today and GD from school. My back is a lot easier. When I touch it it feels as though I have had a hefty kick from a horse. The pain on walking and moving is almost gone though, thank goodness. It was horrible. I hope to be able to collect GD from school. I will park closer to school than usual.
(Lizzie, it was some of the exercises, in particular one where you have to sit on on a chair and stand straight up again several times which aggregated the weak area in my back. I shan't be starting them at home until I am healed.)

          Have a good day everyone.

            Good morning one and all.

Nanto - I'm a bit behind according to your clock - lovely cheerful graphic.

Mimi - good to hear you're feeling a bit better. Yes, definitely have an easy day.

Plant - I hope you enjoyed your get together with your neighbours. What a pity some don't attend, though.

Lizzie - poor you, no wonder you're tired with all the ongoing medications which don't seem to help much. Don't let it get you down. It's great when siblings get on well. We find our 4 grandchildren are at their best when they're together, despite the 10 year age span.

Gem - I'm glad your back is less painful. I guess the physio realigned something in your knee which your back had been compensating for, but it did sound really painful. Be careful today, and no picking GS2 up - sit down for cuddles.

Mimi - no, no Black Friday treasure hunting here. Although I did find a bargain last week under the Black Friday banner. Ever since we've had Eva we've pondered on the mix of breeds she is, and the market leader for canine DNA testing had a £25 off offer. So Eva has been swabbed and we await results, provided we collected enough material - she wasn't too keen.

It's a Happy Housework day for me today. Well, happy's the wrong word, but I might as well put a smile on my face and get on with it.

Mimi, pleased to hear the latest prescription is working, drink plenty.

I think Daisy is right Gemini, I presume the Physio knew you had a back problem.

No Black Friday for me, I only have one present to buy now, that is for youngest GS, he is 17 (I think). I think I shall resort to giving him money. I did find a pair of socks with bicycles on, he repairs bikes and builds them just for fun. He would like to get an apprenticeship.

Off to food shop and a trip to Dunelm to pick up a duvet cover set I have ordered on line. Since having my bedroom decorated, one of my bedding sets isn't the right colour.

Lizzie have a lovely time with your GC, hope you are feeling better.

Its sunny but by is it cold ,
Been to Morrisons this morning then to Aldi honestly even with gloves on my fingers were freezing , doesn't help my fingers are so short they don't reach the end of glove fingers , so means the finger ends get cold air in them ,

GD wants a LOL dolls house for Christmas and GS2 wants Airpods , they came yesterday , the dolls house is huge and weighs a ton ist all wood and 3ft x3ft , B had taken GS1 to jewellers as he wants a signet ring so needed his finger sized , I decided to take the house upstairs , wish I hadn't I had to try slide it up supporting it with my knee took me ages my back was killing ,
B wasn't happy and GS1 said Nana I would have taken it up , but me being me I forget im not as strong as I was , Anyway I managed but I wont try to bring it back down on my own I have learned my lesson.
I only need stocking fillers now we have managed in the last few days to get most of what we wanted for everyone

Oma, that was naughty. Accept help next time!
Plant, , the physio didn't ask me any questions just set off getting me to do them. Some are quite gentle but the repetitive sitting and standing one did for my back so I won't be doing that one again. The back pain yesterday was far worse than the knee pain it was trying to help!
We are heavily into farms today. OH and I gathering boxes for all the buildings GS's animal apparently require 😊

Good morning all, so many poorly people. Hope you all feel better soon. Clover, am thinking of you all the time, life is cruel sometimes. (((( big Hugs))))).

Yesterday I woke up with a big fat top lip, I looked like Botox gone wrong...not a pretty sight. Took some antihistamine and managed to go out to our WI Christmas lunch, didn’t want to miss that. Had to cut my food up really small but it was a lovely lunch with lots of laughs so did me good. This morning I woke up to find my bottom lip and cheek twice the size they should be. Rang surgery and luckily managed to get in to see doc, he was very thorough, asked lots of questions re what I’d eaten etc but said it is Angioedema..... unexplained facial swelling. So stronger antihistamine and it should soon clear up. Honestly, it’s one thing after the other, but glad it’s nothing to worry about.

we've been out for coffee, it’s a lovely sunny morning so feeling a bit chirpier now, Have a good day everyone 🌞🎄🌵

Oh Enfys! As you say the important thing is its nothing to worry about, but no fun at all I'm sure. I hope its settles soon.

Enfys I have heard of bee sting lips where they swell like a bee sting for no reason but never heard of Angioederma. You learn something new every day on hear 😀
Main thing is your OK xxx

Enfys - poor you. Apart from anything else, it must have been a shock to wake up with such a swollen lip two days together. Thank goodness the doctor was able to see you immediately and reassure you. How's your neck now?

Gem - I'm surprised the physio didn't ask any questions first. I wonder if Plant's GS who's a physio would agree with that? I know professionals have different ways of working and all can be equally good, but that sounds a bit strange to me. It sounds as though you're having fun in the farmyard today.

Oma - will you never learn! The dolls' house sounds wonderful, but fancy trying to take it upstairs yourself. No wonder B and GS1 had words to say to you!

I'm glad Storm was who he was supposed to be, but we have a friend in Canada who bought a 'pedigree' dog (can't remember the breed, it's one we don't see in the UK) and he just kept growing and growing. So they got him tested and he was something completely different. Fortunately they love him to bits and have enough room for a big dog, but it could have had a sad ending for the dog. Whatever Eva is will be fine, we would just like to know.

Plant - well done on getting your presents sorted out.

I'll have to start soon! To be honest, I haven't got many to buy for. We've agreed within the family not to do adult presents this year. DS1 and DIL have had a very expensive time with their house extension, DS2 and DIL2 are saving because they'd like to do some work on their house, and there's absolutely nothing OH and I want or need.

It's been a really nice day today - sunny and not too cold. I dropped OH and Eva off at the paddock and went to collect Cooper so they could have playtime in the sun. We've brought Cooper back here with us and I'll take him home later. It was so nice to be out without getting soaked.

So much for getting all the housework done today! Hahaha

Sun didn't break through here until after lunch. Waitrose shop and I called to have my car cleaned and so did lots of other car owners, so a long weight. I still haven't thawed out.

Daisy, my DD tried to cut down on presents this year but we are all adults apart from the GGC. My 2 GC who live in London have to pay high rents and they are not very big wage earners. GD1 and her boyfriend who are low wage-earners have insisted on buying presents for all the family. I buy for them all but insist they don't buy for me, a hug is the best present.

Oma, I am sure your GD will be thrilled with the dolls house, you are allowed to buy them presents then.

Strange thing Enfys, people pay a lot of money for swollen lips. Too much kissing?

Mimi, that wasn't quite what I meant but enjoy.

Yes Plant don't see them well not for 20 weeks we haven't but we got a message from DS saying what they wanted. 2 very very expensive presents. We can't buy for them any other time so don't mind but I was tempted to tell him where to go if it wasn't for spiting the children
