    Good morning dear ladies.

    Nice meal planned Nan2.
Clover, I'm glad to hear DS and partner are able to visit you. Your daily walks will certainly do you good. Poor GS
Oma, we went to Wilko last week not having been for very long time and spent a lot too. How are you feeling now?
Daisy, you and M have a lovely catch up

After two consecutive walking days I need to rest my knee today, so it will be an at home day. The forecast was poor but now it is sunny and looks nice if a little breezy.
Not sure what I will do today , but I will tell you all tonight!

    Happy Monday to all.

Oma, go steady with the trip to Wilko, going early is a good idea. Lovely to spend time with the family and Storm.

I agree with Daisy, you have made a sensible decision Clover, it must be an expensive job. So pleased you can spend time with your DS and his partner. Clover, that must have been a very bad break on you GS's arm, hope he gets some physio.

My DD, Sil and I spent a lovely afternoon at DS and Dil's, not very often all four of them get together, although we only live quarter of an hours drive away. DS cooked a lovely BBQ, the 2 GS's arrived back in time for us to see them also. A very late start for me so not much will get done today, bathroom and kitchen floor getting higher up the list. Must water the garden today.

What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare

I am still having problems with Facebook! Had a look around on Google and I am not the only one, that doesn't solve the problem though.
Clover, your grandson will need physio, it will help him get the use of his arm back.

Plant seems like you had a lovely afternoon.

Oma, hope you took it easy with Storm!

I have just been to the doctor, have a very painful big toe, I have been soaking it in warm water with soda, that does help but whatever it is returns, having my tights on all the time doesn't help in this weather though. It is fungus under my nail rim, I have had fungus under my nails for years and last year read that using Neem oil clears it, I had bought it for my plants so thought I would give it a try, in a year I have my nails back so it works, now have cream for under the rim.

Oh Lizzie, I'm sorry you are still having FB problems.

I hope the cream works for you. Can you cut the toes out of the tights, or does that interfere with the compression?

Thanks, I can get tights without toes, but, they roll up under my feet so usually have them with toes, I hope the cream works now. As for FB!! No words!!!

DS's test came back negative, woo!hoo!. So, although he'll still continue to work in his room, at least he can join us for meals and general socialising!

                    That's good WG!

My DD1 is having a test tonight as she's 'feeling a bit weird' and her sense of taste is off. So, crossing everything crossable here for her.

                      Good news WG.

Gem I hope your DD has a similar result.

At long last I have received final confirmation of G’s Civil Service widow’s pension. It’s only taken nearly four months to get it sorted and it wasn’t even complicated. It’s a good job I wasn’t desperate for the money. Even now the first payment won’t be in the bank until the 7th.I know things have been difficult with offices closed and staff working from home but I wasn’t expecting such a long wait.

I hope you’ve all had a good day.Enjoy the rest of the evening.

Clover, pleased that is sorted for you.
Also, i think you have made right decision to have the whole of the roof done.

                        WG,good news for your DS.

                        Gem,hope DD is negative.

Clover - I'm sure it shouldn't have taken so long for G's Civil Service pension to be sorted out, but in these strange days nothing is surprising, is it! It would have been all hte same if you had been in desperate need of the money.

WeeGranny - thank goodness your DS's test was negative. Now, hopefully, you can all relax and you can enjoy his company.

Gem - I do hope your DD1 is ok. Everything crossed for her. When will she get the results?

Oma - I hope you had a lovely morning with Storm.

Lizzie - your toe sounds so painful. As for FB - words fail me.

Plant - it sounds as though you needed a day to rest today, never mind the list of chores! xx

Daisy it’s first time Storm has stayed since lockdown he got straight back into looking for his treats and nose against fridge door for cheese

Gem I hope DD is just coming down with a cold and nothing else . I had my test last Sunday before op I must say it takes seconds but it’s not pleasant the swab has to go so far down your throat it makes you gag and your eyes water up your nose but it’s for the best . Fingers crossed for her xxx

Plant so pleased the weather was good enough for the BBQ it must have been lovely having them together like that .

Clover red tape is ridiculous what if you had been desperate for that money ,

Clover, what a long wait for a pension. I am pleased it is now sorted for you.

Gem, hope it goes well for DD1.

WG good news about your son. He will be free to move around now.

Daisy, I may have won the battle with FB, time will tell!
