Plant - oh dear, your techie problems aren't over after all. It sounds as though there are a couple of components who don't talk to each other. Can you adjust how many rings the phone does before the answerphone kicks in? I hope you can get it sorted out soon. thank goodness the knitting is finished even if it was difficult to sew together. Are you pleased with it? Can we see a photo, please?

Oma - I keep Piriton tablets in usually, just in case, but would probably still take Eva to the vets just to be sure.

Nanto - you'll have to go to the garden centre again next Saturday when the cafe is open. What a pity they didn't have what you wanted.

The house still hasn't seen a duster or the sucky up thing!

          Good morning ladies,

Nan2, it is SO windy here!! You must have been disappointed about the garden centre cafe. I would have been.
Daisy, good to hear your uninvited guests have gone.
Plant, I'm sorry you are having these tech problems. These things are great as long as they are working well. Thank goodness you have family close by to help.

No plans today. I have washing to do. It is sunny with little chance of rain and very windy so it will dry quickly, but need lots of pegs!
I was hoping to walk today, but not sure it is advisable in this wind.

          Have a good Sunday everyone.

Good Sunday morning everyone. I hope you're all as 'in the pink' as Nanto's cheerful little friend this morning.

The sun's shining here at the moment, but it's still windy.

No plans whatsoever today apart from portioning up some dog food which I've defrosted overnight and delivering a birthday card and present to a friend.

Gem - it's not much fun walking in the wind, especially near trees - I hope it calms down for you.

              Morning ladies .

Nanto I love a chicken dinner with all the trimmings , sage & Onion stuffing etc

Daisy have you heard or seen anymore little friends since the man came out ?

Gem you will be blown off your feet in this wind , mind you it's warm .

Plant is GS coming back to help with the Tech stuff ? What would we do without our clever younger generation.

GM did your car pass it's MOT ?

Lizzie any news on your neighbour today ?

I'm feeling a bit off today , didn't have a good night so I'm tired that will most likely what it is , but my bones ache I have a headache and just feel yuk
Standing in the shower I just wanted to sit down and close my eyes

Nothing to do today even if there was I'm not bothering, lazy mare day today just slob around .

The wind is wild here it's blown quite a few petals from my lilly's they scattered over the garden , no point picking them up the wind will be taking more off I'm sure ,
We have beautiful blue sky but the clouds are moving fast so I think the wind is getting stronger .

Did you see all the idiots out at the pubs last night , fighting , no social distancing , no masks , lord help us we will see how this pans out in 14 days see if there is a sharp rise in cases , I hope not but I think it will happen

Im not fat just 6ft too small

Good morning, Oma, the neighbour is in a hospice, easier to visit for his family, he is on a morfine pump and they will see how long the poor man is still alive.
I did see the photo's of the idiots drinking in pubs, pubs opened a few weeks ago here, a few have had to close again because if the customers don't keep to the 1,5 mtr distancing the owner gets a €4,000 fine, one man on the news said it just isn't worth opening.
It is windy here and it rained all day yesterday.

I am going to the blue and yellow store soon to pick my rug up.

Plant, I am thinking about getting a new TV, I am so used to this one though so think I will wait.

                    Nanto, those pies sound inviting.

Oma, you must feel so tired, no wonder you are feeling YUK. It must be difficult to know whether you would be better tiring yourself out with work or resting. Walks in the fresh air are supposed to help with sleeping but not easy for you to do that.

Daisy, I hope you have seen the last of those wasps, fancy them making a hole into the spare room.

GS3 was out all day yesterday, he has wheels now, so he face timed me in the evening to talk me through fitting the new part to the television and that is fine (fingers crossed) Problem was he phoned after I had shared some bubbles with the family. Today, I think I have sorted out the phone, needed to increase the number of rings. So I hope all is well now. I saw a scan picture of my expected 3rd GGC, apparently it will be around the first week of Jan. They had a private scan because tomorrow she is booked in for a scan but her partner isn't allowed to attend so his mother paid for them to have a private one.

I have been to Ikea in Delft for the rug, it is very well organised, so many customers in one hour block to click and collect, all distancing etc. Much easier than stood in a queue!

IKEA will be much easier as Click and Collect Lizzie
Plant, I think a lot of people will have private scans to allow partners to go.
Oma, take it easy and rest today xx

It is so windy we have decided not to walk today. I have washing on the line with many pegs. I think it will be dry very soon then I will bring it in.
We will go to mum's house later to put away the garden waste bin and take photos of the meters. She hasn't had any readings done for over a year (as she never heard them at the door) so they need the readings sending in.

It was easy Gem, DS1 has just been and with me being on the top floor he said " what a storm up here mother"!

GD2 was with him, she has dyslexia, she has been having help from school etc and is doing so well now, I am so proud of her! Her teacher has said he has never seen any pupil with dyslexia make the progress that she has done this last year. It has a lot to do with the teacher though as the last one she had was another story. If she keeps on doing as well as she is now she will be able to go to the high school.

                            Lizzie,well done to your GD2.

Well thats another day of lockdown over, even though things have been eased.
I made a roast chicken dinner and GD2 came to eat with us.
Did some washing this morning, dried in no time.
                            All ironing was done.

Lizzie my SIL had a hard time at school he has mild Dyslexia but can see numbers brilliantly ,

Your GD sounds like she has worked very hard to cope with it , a good teacher helps too , I hope she goes from strength to strength, she sounds a very determined girl

Nanto I bet your GD enjoyed her dinner especially being made by Grandma ☺️

Oma, my youngest brother has dyslexia, had problems at school as no-one knew what it was when he was young, he has coped and is clever with other things. It has been hard work for GD2, she had training for a few years and that has helped her, along with all the work she had to do at home with her mother! She is a very determined girl!
It is strange though to recognise it at first, when we were reading a book here I couldn't decide if she couldn't or wouldn't read! Poor girl, she couldn't.

Nanto, your washing would dry if it was as windy as it was here.
