Good morning, everyone. Oma - thank you for the lovely graphic. I hope Nanto is far too busy enjoying her hotel breakfast to think about a graphic!

The clock thing - Gem, the upgrade went ahead last night, but I've checked and we're still on GMT on the Admin CP.

It's just dull and a bit cloudy here, but hopefully the rain will hold off. We're going up to DS1's for the day - it was DIL's birthday on Friday, so it's a good chance to take her presents. Birthdays should last at least for a week-end. I hope the rain holds off - the dogs love running in and out of the garden and it's a pain if they need paws wiping every time.

Oma - I do hope your MIL enjoys her roast dinner. It's always nice to have someone cook a meal for you anyway, so you relax and enjoy it too. Did you get any more sleep last night?

Plant - I hope you managed to get the butter for the puddings. Have a lovely time today.

Gem - what a lovely compromise - GD felt independent, but there was a watchful adult around, just in case. The quiz sounds fun. Enjoy the birthday meal tonight.

WeeGranny - I hope you feel a bit better today, and can have a lazy relaxing Sunday. xx

I'm wondering how Clover and G are. I hope they're making progress with G's care plan, and Clover is managing to get some rest. Clover - if you're looking in - we're thinking of you. xxx

Can't hang around this morning I have these two puddings to make. It wasn't just butter I wanted yesterday, but I planned to go to a craft fair my friend was organising, did get there later. The family all know not to park in front of my garage and go out but someone was in her space when she came home on Friday it was the man fitting my smart meter. I think her brain was full of wedding dress shopping the next morning.

I am sure your Mil will enjoy her roast dinner Oma. Love the graphic, nice of you to stand-in for Nanto. I hope she is having a nice relaxing breakfast and talking about how the wedding went.

Have a lovely time at DS and Dil's, I sure the dogs will.

I managed 4 hours Daisy on and off . Tried with the clock again but I don't know what I'm doing wrong it won't stay on correct time even though I'm pressing save . So I'm 1 hour ahead of you all 😱😁

Arrived home about an hour ago, after whats been a lovely weekend.
it was a bit chilly when it was time for taking the photos outside, but the rain held off until late at night.
Put a couple of photos on my thread in something to celebrate.

I'm glad it was all so lovely yesterday Nan2, lovely photos
Mmmm, Sunday lunch Oma, lovely, good to hear MIL enjoyed it and was on good form.

Mum was fine, although I have no idea how she survives on the food she eats. All the decent food I brought on Thursday is still there. All she seems to eat is cakes, biscuits, Mars Bars, crisps, cup-a -soup, a bit of bread, and corned beef! She does get through a couple of bottles of milk a week, and has cereal at breakfast. It must be enough for her I suppose!

Went out for lunch today to celebrate OH's birthday which is tomorrow. Oh it was lovely! OH managed 3 courses but I could only manage 2 and I left a couple of roast potatoes and half a yorkshire pud! I won't need to eat until tomorrow I think!

Sat and watched the rugby and cheered when Scotland won!

Spent last night sorting out the threads for my new venture and hopefully I've matched them up correctly otherwise the finished article won't look quite the same as the picture.

Gem, I was convinced MiL lived on bread and butter! I don't think older people want to eat properly and exist on what they fancy. As long as she's reasonably healthy I wouldn't be too concerned.

                        Lovely pics Nan2 !

Plant, it is a bore cooking and eating alone!!! I do manage to cook, but, nothing special when I am on my own, I miss having to pick GD2 up from school, I did it twice a week and she loved eating here, made her favourites for her as she is a good eater. I loved to cook for her, she now goes on her own to school on her bike, with the rest of Holland!!!!! I do understand that, she is 11 years old now and very independant. DS1 or DIL work from home most days so they are always home for them.
