Just popped by to say Goodnight.

Oma , hope B gets well soon.

Daisy god to hear that your OH is feeling better.

We had a lovely meal at Miller and Carter , it was good to have a catch up the the girls even though some of them are having a hard time at the moment.
Our one friend is still living in rented holiday homes as her house is still inhabitable from the floods in October. She has also had another breast cancer scare but her cancer nurse has assured her that the dimpling is from scar tissue and radiotherapy treatment.
Our other friend’s daughter in law has just had surgery for breast cancer ( she has had one breast removed) and she starts her chemo just after Christmas.
And last but not least our other friend’s son is going through the divorce from hell.
We still managed to do a lot of laughing despite the rather bad news .

    Good night ladies, sleep well.
Bring me sunshine in your smile.

          Good morning everyone.

Lovely graphic for a winters, morning Nan2. Reminding us that spring will come
Oma, hopefully B will recover today, he will probably feel wiped out.
Mimi, when there are worries its good to be amongst friends and relax, it does everyone good!

The first morning for ages with no fog!
A few things to do today which require a car. Fortunately OH is on hand and willing. The course is closed anyway so no golf, but as its not a competition she was not going to go anyway, to help me out. Prescription needs picking up, mums shopping needs doing, and it is the afternoon mum and I planned to take my sisters Christmas presents and cards and see her. By car its less than half an hour, by public transport it takes much longer, with 2 buses. Mum would certainly not be up to it anyway.
This evening we are going over to our friends C and P's house which will be nice.

          Have a good day everyone.

Good Thursday morning to Nanto, Oma and all those who pop in later.

I'm off to do a bit of shopping and collect Cooper to give his mum and dad a bit of peace while they're busy in the shop. Goodness knows what else I'll get done with Cooper 'helping' . I can imagine the fun he'd have putting up decorations in the dining room!

Oma, I'm so glad B is feeling a bit better. It sounds as though you were up very early!

Nanto - it must be nice to get a morning 'off', you really are very kind to your in laws. I hope they're on the mend.

Mimi - it's awful when to see what some people are going through, but one of the things that makes a huge difference is having a chance to unwind with good friends and have a giggle. I hope they are all ok.

Gem - our blood test queues are variable. I've driven in to the car park, walked into the hospital, got the blood test and out again within 10 minutes - other days you just have to see it as a chance to sit down with your Kindle and have a rest! Oh dear, it will be hard without a car, but hold out for a good deal on yours if it is written off. Not easy, I know, if you're dependent on it, but it's worth trying. xx

Our friends are both full of cold, so we are seeing them between Xmas and New Year now.

Oh, Gem, I suppose you can only think better to have a cold this week than next. I hope they're soon better.

How are you feeling this morning? xx

I'm OK thanks Daisy. I'll feel better when my car isn't on the drive facing our window, reproaching me! I feel like putting a blanket over it.

I think it is £1700 the insurance will pay out for the car if it is unrepairable. Something to put towards a new one at least.

Gem, poor you! No possibility that it can be repaired?

They will assess it today Lizzie (not Saturday as I said earlier) but they don't think so. The front is quite caved in and OH thinks the radiator is pushed in. I'm amazed I drove it back home really! She thinks I must have hit the accelerator instead of the brake, but I have no idea what happened.

Oma, pleased B is feeling a bit better.
                          Everybody sounds busy today.
I must say its been lovely to have a morning at home, and get housework done.
We will be going to in laws later this afternoon, make sure they have plenty of drinks on hand.
Dad has been naughty. We've found out he hasn't been taking his regular medication.
He's been hiding them, and we were thinking he has taken them.
Poorly or not, hubby will be ticking him off when we get there.

Sounds as if you will be having to manage without a car for a bit Gemini, if only we could put the clock back. I hope things are sorted for you soon.

Nanto, did Fil say why he hasn't been taking his medicine?

Every post someone is poorly, hope they will feel better soon.

Aqua was very strenuous today (different instructor) but I expect we will all feel better for it.
Daisy, the talk we had at WI on Wednesday was a wildlife photographer called Tom Way, he is an Award Winning Wildlife Photographer www.tomwayphotography.co.uk very enjoyable talk. Thought you might be interested in his work.

                              Afternoon all

Oma I do hope B takes it easy and recovers quickly. Fingers crossed you don’t catch it.
Why do do these bugs have to strike at exactly the wrong time of the year. I hope anyone poorly soon gets better.

Nanto I wonder why FIL has been hiding his pills. Does he find them difficult to swallow?

It seems to be getting darker and darker here.Heavy rain is again on the agenda.I had to push the sucky up thing round with the lights on. I know Oma does her housework before dawn and I don’t know how she does it

OH is having a bad day so I’m not feeling too bright..Hope everyone else is coping alright.

Well yesterday i noticed his lips were a bit blue, which i have always thought was indication of heart problems, rightly or wrongly.
Although none of his regular medications is for his heart.
He's never had any heart problems.
When i mentioned about his lips being a bit blue,he said i ought to start to taking my tablets
then. He said he's had enough of taking tablets.
We are going round soon,so i will take a look at his lips.
Can't work the out the silly old codger sometimes.

Clover, sorry to hear OH is having a bad day,and of course this has a bad effect on you.
