Reflexology for me this morning, and check up at the vet for puss this afternoon.
Apart from that I will be on the phone to Barclaycard to claim almost £2000 for Thomas Cook flights, and trying to secure affordable replacement flights, if such a thing is possible.
This will only work if the DDs do the same, as we don't want to go at such a busy and expensive time unless we go with the family.
Have a good day everyone.

Gem, on Saurday we popped into Tui. We booked one of their holidays, but it was TC flights.
They told us to do nothing until we heard from them. Probably get a call today, now they TC have gone under.
Off to in laws later.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.
Morning, Plant, you are not the only tourist to walk on the cycle paths!!!! Cycling through Delft can be a nightmare with all the tourists.
Hope you get your flights sorted Gem.
Wee Granny, yes the cycle paths here are really good.
Good morning everyone. It's damp and drizzly here, but that's a nice cheery graphic to see while I enjoy my morning cuppa, Nanto.
I feel as though I've been away for ages - we got back from Leek last night. I'll tell you all about it in my Journal when I get a few minutes, but today is Cooper and GDs day. I've arranged to pick Coops up a bit later than usual to give me chance to catch up here a little. OH or I need to do some shopping - the fridge is empty.
I'm still way behind with all the going-on on Chat so it will be lovely to get a few minutes peace to catch up with everyone. xx

Clover - thank you. Yes, Eva gave us a good welcome, although she has a great time at Cooper's. She's really tired this morning and went straight back to bed after her breakfast. We've got two more trips up to Leek planned (OH is going next week-end while some of us are enjoying our meet up in Birmingham) and I might ask a friend to come and stay with her for that.
The ironing will wait, Clover! Mine always does (unfortunately. )

Daisy, I hope you managed to get things sorted in Leek and you will not need so many trips.
So sorry to hear you have been affected by the Thomas Cook collapse Gemini. Hope you get your money back without too much fuss and manage to book new flights to suit you and the family.
Watery sunshine here atm, I have someone coming this morning to measure my bedroom for a new carpet to be fitted when the decorating is finished. Hope to get to bowls this afternoon.
What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare
So pleased with myself!!! I have ordered the machine I fancied, 15% lower in price this week and then when paying got €125 discount from Siemens!!!!! Being delivered tomorrow, pleased I made the decision as I can be slow when it comes to things like that!!!
Morning all a wet morning. Not much to do today a quick trip to GP surgery to collect a prescription and a browse in Morrisons. I have loads of daffodil bulbs that need planting so will do that in the garage.
Awful news about Thomas Cook ,do hope you can salvage something Gem. Ryanair are doing strikes, better not be when we go away. Hope everyone is ok.
Afternoon all. Just returned from the dentist and I am now several ££s lighter !
OH is watching the rugby...how much longer does this World Cup go on for , it’s only the second or third day
Surprisingly it’s a nice day here so far, not sure how long it’s going to last mind you.
Gem it’s horrible news about Thomas Cook, so many people have been effected. I hope you are able to get your money back or a replacement holiday.
Its scary how these ‘big’ well known companies are crumbling.
Libra I have some bulls to plant in containers but at the moment I still have a lovely show of summer flowers in them and it’s a shame to throw them away just yet.
Lizzie my previous washing machine was a Siemens, it was the best machine I have ever had . It lasted me well over 10 years . It was quite even on a very high spin . When I needed a replacement to get like for like it would have cost me well over £850 which at the time I wasn’t prepared to pay.
I had to compromise and buy a Bosch and it wasn’t very cheap I can tell you .
