Goodness Oma, all that before 10am. I was up late, still not dressed. I had a great bowls game yesterday but it left me feeling very stiff and tired in the evening and I slept late. Very dreamy night too. Hope to get myself going soon, I would like to pop to a garden centre later, nothing else planned. Lovely sunny day.

Oma I don't think we have rag and bone men/ladies around here, just the council if you arrange it. Hope you are having this lovely weather to enjoy your walks with G.

How did you find London Zoo, I was last there 20 years ago with eldest GS's and I wasn't impressed, they still had a small cage with a tiger rocking side to side and it was very shabby. They were very proud of their newly acquired Lord Snowdon aviary.

I am resting as much as I can today as after 2 days of walking and step climbing I am aching. We are out with friends tomorrow so I don't want to do much walking today.
I need to steam the floor and make a shepherds pie, but I wont doing much else! I will pop out in the car to buy the few things we need.
OH is on the golf course, so obviously not as achy as I am!!
No GS1 to collect today. He going to a party after school. Although I would be happy to take him to this party it is the little girl of one of DD's friends, so she wants to be there. She will leave work early and take him herself.

Hello from me. I'm just popping in for a few minutes before I have to go and collect GDs.

It's a glorious day here and this morning I've tidied out the greenhouse and put the staging in ready for starting some seeds off - hopefully tomorrow morning. OH and I spent some time repositioning the tomato troughs against the fence that's just been repaired - boy, they're heavy when they're filled with soil! Still, both Eva and Cooper helped. Eva sat as close to us as she could get, and Cooper yelled at us from a distance to stop doing such silly things and have a game of ball with him! It's so lovely to spend time in the garden!

Gem - I'm glad you've got an easy day to recover from your London adventures.

Plant - well done on your game of bowls yesterday. I hope you won.

Oma - you are great at keeping on top of your decorating! I love having the windows wide open, even when it's quite cold, but so much better on a day like today!

Qwerty - lovely to see you back. You've certainly been busy!..xx

Hi Qwerty and Daisy

I did some washing and hung it out, steamed the kitchen floor, and went to Tesco. I took a little plant round to the catfeeding neighbours, and now and having online time. We are having a friend around for tea tomorrow but are out during the day with other friends. I am going to make shepherds pie this afternoon, so we can just pop it in the oven and do some veg tomorrow night.

Lovely day here today. Went out this morning for supermarket shopping and also bought some of those wheeled stands to go under Plant pots. We have some big ones that are so awkward to move so they will be handy.

Decided to tackle the front garden this afternoon. We only have one big bed out there under the front wall and it’s full of shrubs but also full of weeds. My goodness, what a job! Gave up after a while, just found it too difficult so we have decided to get a man in! If we could get the lawn mowed and all,the weeding kept on top of that would be it. DH still can’t do too much and I’m finding it harder now. We have a couple of names of chaps that friends use for gardening so will give them a call, I feel,happier now we have made that decision. DD said she’d give us a hand but she works and also has a bigmgarden to look after so it wouldn’t be fair on her.

Otherwise a nice day, lunch in the conservatory, the birds are singing, sun is shining, what could be better......oh, and DH is snoozing 😴

Good afternoon all. Isn’t this weather lovely, a bit cold at night and in the early hours of the morning but if you can find the sun it’s glorious.

Yes Mimi im finished decorating ,fingers are painful but ill survive thanks for asking .
SIL is putting my new carpet and new underlay down on Thursday so old carpet and underlay got to come up and go to tip , so fingers will have to work a little more im afraid ,

Been out for tea by time Dog and GS went home we couldn't be bothered to cook , Day off Dog sitting tomorrow he's going to Day care and GS has days training at Sunderland Football academy so wont have him
So we going shopping and I need new Sun Glassed so going to Debenhams I looked online and they have several I like

Enfys good for you getting someone in , it take the pressure of you and OH wont feel guilty that he cant do it

Shepherds pie made Oma. Cooling and will go in fridge overnight until we get home tomorrow.

Enfys, very wise to get a gardener no point letting it get on top of you. My mum won't so we have to deal with hers as well as our own, so that is fair of you not to expect your family to do it.

Well done Enfys for deciding to get some help with the gardening. I have done that at times when the borders need extra attention.

Going shopping today and to Debenhams , not done much this morning , had a chat with Qwerty , text my Sister and just pottered around , no point doint too much as got to take Carpet and underlay up later and move furniture ,

I hope the holiday ladies are having a good time, and everyone is well.
Today we are going out with our friends C and P. We are going to Farndale, famous for a daffodil walk. There will be lunch involved too
A friend is coming round after work for a catch up and to have tea with us, so plenty of talking today!
