Good morning all. A bit misty here at the moment but a nice day forecast.

I have docs this morning for a routine blood test then we are going out to look for plants to out in two big containers which we emptied yesterday. We inherited them from DS when they went to Australia and I fancy a couple of cordylines or something similar. GS has said he will dig the front bed for us and help with the lawn mowing, good lad. So we have put having a gardener on hold for the time being. We are however having a chap round to pressure wash the decking and to repair it in places, too much for DH, so that will be good.

Out to lunch too, after our plant shopping, Have a good day everyone 🌞

      Good morning everyone.

Nanto - I love hummingbirds. they're so tiny and so energetic. Hopefully your washing will dry outside. It's quite misty here so far.

Grauntie - that's what I need - a clear week to get to grips with weeds and do some replanting!

Gem - I hope kitty is feeling a bit better this morning and taking her medicine ok. I do hope the doctor can help with the carpel tunnel injections. Don't be afraid to say just how painful and incapacitating it is. Good news on the potty training - well done GS2! xx

Enfys - We put a bronze cordyline in one corner of our front garden when we had it redone about 3 years ago. It's growing well and the colour looks good all year round. The lower leaves have got a bit scruffy, but otherwise it's a really useful 'statement' plant. Your GS is a superstar offering to help with the garden. What a lovely lad he is.

I'm having a day on the dreaded housework today. Plenty to keep me occupied, unfortunately!

      Have a good day everyone.

Lovely and sunny again today, food shopping for me later so no rush. Apart from some washing I do not have any other plans. GD1 and boyfriend back today,

Hope the doctor can do something to help with your painful hand Gemini and I hope kitty continues to get stronger. Good news about your OH's check up.

Well done your GS Enfys offering to help with some gardening jobs.

        Grauntie, slow down.

Oma, P is feeling really well. His hands and feet are so much better and to look st him you wouldn’t know he had anything wrong.

Oma - leaving the housework sounds a great option, but with the fencers hammering, sawing, chopping and whatever in the garden it's not very peaceful today! I bet Storm loves it at your house - he gets spoiled rotten!

Enfys - it's good to hear P is feeling so well. I hope you're getting out and about and doing nice things. xx

The sun's still shining here and I've got a line full of bedding out - hurrah, it must be Spring. Even on nice days in the winter there's not much point in trying to dry outside - the sun doesn't get high enough to shine on us.

lovely warm sunny day here, I did think when I drove back Through the village I would go and sit by the pond with my lunch and feed the ducks but by the time I had unloaded the shopping, I decided to sit in the sunroom, eat lunch and read the paper. Got to make the most of this weather whilst it lasts.

Enfys, pleased to hear P is feeling well atm.

Daisy he has been sun bathing all day

Its been so warm we have had the patio doors and the bedroom windows open all day , temp dropping a bit now but still warmish .
Shame you couldn't sit in garden Daisy

Plant sitting by the pond sounded lovely but at least you have your sun room as a alternative

Oma - lucky Storm! I opened all the big windows right round the house this morning - then the window cleaner arrived so I went round and shut them all again! LOL

I got most of the washing dry, including a thick mattress protector. Hopefully tomorrow will be as nice.

                        Evening All!
After a rotten night, OH up with hip pain, me worrying about my cat, I gave up at 4.30am and got up. A small amount of digging has taken place this morning and then I met friends for lunch.
Tomorrow I am being taken for a Thai foot massage by both DDs. This sounds interesting and as long as it doesn’t involve being nibbled by fish I will enjoy it.
I wish you all a peaceful night.

Grauntie - the 'like' isn't because you were worrying about your cat in the night. It's to say enjoy your pampering. I'd be interested to hear all about it!
