I forgot to say, sending good wishes to anyone looking in and not posting. We are very busy and don't always notice and comment if someone hasn't posted for a few days, but it doesn't mean we don't care! Enfys hasn't posted for a few days, so sending best wishes to her.

Been to see MIL this morning and SIL called she off to Portugal and popped in before she went to see her mother , she only lives across the road ,
She retired yesterday and received lots of flowers so MIL has them as SIL will be away and wont get the benefit

Gem - well done to GS2 - 5 hours is a long time for a little lad! I hope you get your leaflets delivered ok!

Clover - It's good to know your BP is fine. I hope they can sort out the breathlessness for you though. I was only thinking this morning we need some charity sacks to fill up - about a dozen I think!!

Aggie - I'm sure you've always got something interesting to say. Are you still painting?

Oma - has your SIL got lots of plans for her retirement when she gets back from Portugal?

The fence is making progress! But OH has had to chop down a lot of vegetation from next door. I'm hoping he'll ask the fence people to take the clippings away, but he says he'll put them in his trailer! Men! It's been one of those busy mornings when the doorbell and the phone never seem to stop ringing, and of course frequent cups of tea needed for the workers! I've managed to clean our bedroom in between but gave up on trying to get out for dog training.

Hope the fence gets finished today Daisy, men are so stubborn.

Sil is cutting the grass so it encouraged me to go out and tidy the borders and edges, I felt I had to come in after nearly two hours, started to feel tired and didn't want to fall over. Bouncy castle being delivered in the morning, it is forecasted to be fine, it is lovely atm. Didn't see GGS yesterday on his birthday he was at his other GM's. I am looking forward to tomorrow, not only to see GGS re-action to everyone being here for his day but also some of the fathers coming with their children were at our local school and I used to teach them art and needlework and bathed their grazes. Think I might retire now to the sunroom with a cuppa and my audible book.

We will leave about 4.30am. 25/30 minute drive to the airport.

We got the leaflets delivered and the cat sitters actually came here so that saved us a job.
OH did 9 holes of golf with a friend who is wanting to get back into it, and I visited my mum via Wilko for a couple of things she wanted.

The fence people have put spurs in for the broken posts so the fence is secure again, but further down behind OH's shed the panels have rotted away. We couldn't see them for roses, ivy and other plants which have grown over them from next door. They will have to be replaced so the men are coming back next Friday to do that. They did take the cuttings away, thank goodness! We've known one of the two men doing the job for years - he was friendly with DS2's former neighbour, but we'd never met his identical twin brother before - it was so strange - the same but different!

We go tomorrow morning Daisy. Premier Inns are so cheap on Sunday nights, £42 for a London hotel amazing!
We are up and out quite early in the morning to get the bus to the station. If I don't get online I will from the hotel later in the day

Lovely morning here, Bouncy Castle due to arrive any time soon. I think the party kicks off about 1p.m. GD1 and boyfriend are leaving after the party to go to the airport, they are off to Dubrovnic (sp) tomorrow morning.
