A late good afternoon.
Hope everyones day is going well and hospital visits are not too arduous.
We’ve had a bit of a day ourselves which I’ll write about in YEO so as not to clog Chat up.
On on our travels today we saw some tiny new born lambs.A real sign of Spring though the weather is not in agreement. We’ve had some very heavy rain and hail showers .

Clover I read about your day. Take it easy tonight. At least you saw the lambs
I have a very sore throat which came on suddenly this afternoonI will avoid kissing the DDs , although I probably caught it from one of the boys!
I visited my auntie which was nice, as always.
Mum had a very nice time with her friend. Once we left she was complete b***h to me as I have noticed she is every time she has been with her friend. Her friend is lovely so it is not her fault! Mum was moody and argumentative on the journey home and at her house. She says I am pressurising her to tell me whether she is going to GS's party on Saturday! We need to know as we take her, and it's not on the way. Not too much to ask I would have thought.
She virtually threw me out of the house!“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Gem,sorry to hear about your sore throat.I hope it doesn’t stop you enjoying your evening. What a shame about your Mum being unpleasant.Perhaps she’s envious of her nice friend and takes it out on you .Surely she realises you need to know if she needs a lift to the party. Sounds like a bit of pig-headedness to keep you dangling for an answer,or perhaps she likes to be in control.Would giving her a deadline help?

Oma, have a lovely time at the wedding 😊
That's a nice cheery graphic Nan2.
My throat is so sore and I slept badly.
Hairdresser is coming this morning followed by GS2 for the day. I could do with a day off really, but the other GPs are going to Hull for the GF's after surgery appointment and results. SIL is taking them, so I am needed for childcare. Luckily GS2 is a good boy. Not being able to read to him will be the hardest. We are supposed to be going to the quiz and meal at the golf club tonight, but I doubt I will be going.
Have a good day everyone. Blue skies and sunshine here.“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Hope you have a lovely time Oma.
Gemini, sore throats are horrid, hope it passes soon.
Done my usual shop, met GD1 there and had lunch together, she seems to have moved into her BF's home, I am so pleased she has met her BF and they seem very happy together but I do miss her popping in.What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare

Very chilly cold here and raining all morning too.
My friend and I went to the new WI we tried last month and we are now members. Everyone was very friendly and we have already put our names down for a coach trip in August. I think we will enjoy being members.
P was busy whilst I was out, he really is feeling so much more like his old self. Oma, 8gave him B’s message and he says ‘Thanks, mate.’ 🙂
I am making cakes this afternoon and lasagne for tea, special request from DH."Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened." - Dr Seuss

Good afternoon/evening, everyone.
Finally things have settled down a bit and I'll have a chance to catch up later tonight. OH has to go out about 6 pm so I'm getting dinner early - it will have to be something quick though! Fried jam sandwiches??? Only joking.Back later.

Hello all. Another late drop in but we have been busy with sorting out the cupboards. We have sold one or two items on Facebook. I posted them yesterday afternoon and they were all sold within an hour. One was a heavy cumbersome vacuum and the other an electric clothes airer .
Our Dyson vacuum finally died on me yesterday but I’m not particularly heart broken as it was one of the first cordless vacuum and the battery life was very short.
We have now brought a Shark vacuum, haven’t used it yet but it has a nice trick... it folds in half for easy storage.
Enfys good to hear that P is feeling a lot like his old self, that was really nice of B to get in touch, so thoughtful.
Oma How was the wedding
Gem, how is your throat , hope you are feeling betterBring me sunshine in your smile.
