Clover....you're lucky being able to book a week in advance to see a doctor. At our surgery we're lucky to get one in 3 weeks! You might be able to get an emergency one for that day, but otherwise you have to wait. And that's with speaking nicely to the receptionists! Hope it all goes well anyway.

Oma...good news re B! D's neutrofils are down unfortunately, so he's having a watchful eye kept on him and the consultant gave him a good once over yesterday when he saw him.

We had a day of it yesterday with hospital appointments. OH had his, then we hung around for me to see the surgeon who's doing my op next Friday. He assures me that the pain will go and mobility will be back again, though the first two weeks might be a bit painful. I'm not one to moan, but this really is getting me down ! Then Oh was off to hospital again this morning for an Xray on his back/hips .....I think, I lose track of what he's having done!

Bit overcast here, but sun has been breaking through.

Trying to organise a trip to visit DS in Summer. DD and GS will be coming too, but DD can't stay as long as us, so needs earlier flights. Think it would've been easier just going on our own, but GS is desperate to visit Uncle T and this will be our Summer adventure.

Hope Enfys and P have had good results.

WG neutrofils can go up and down from day to day as you know he may need a infusion to get them up again .

Fingers crossed this op helps you and you will be pain free , living with a painful back is debilitating as it effects every movement doesn't it . At least you should be recovered for your Summer trip xx

I went to the cinema this afternoon to see Instant Family, which I enjoyed. It was chilly and dull, so I wasn't unhappy not to have gone to Whitby. Another time!

Unless I get on early I probably won't be on the forum tomorrow. All 3 grandchildren for the day,and we are going out as soon as they leave. To the golf club quiz and meal. As we are giving the quiz complier and OH a lift we have to go a bit earlier.

Oma - good news from B's appointments. At this rate they will forget who he is if he hasn't got to go back until the end of April and then November. Well done, Mr Oma.

WeeGranny - I'm sure life feels like an uphill struggle at the moment, but pain makes everything harder, especially backpain because every movement hurts. Roll on next Friday and your op. I do hope your OH's neutrofils were down, but it's reassuring that he was given a really thorough check over.

Gem - I'm glad you've enjoyed your Me-Day. You need more of them. A very busy day for you tomorrow - I hope you find a couple of minutes to call your own. I hope Nana's ok.

Plant - what a pity about your Aqua class. I hope you didn't stay in and do housework instead!

I had a lovely lunch out with the 'girls' from College. One friend was celebrating being 80 years young, so it was all great fun. Before we knew it, it was 4 o'clock!!

I'm off on another jaunt tomorrow - to meet up with Sunshine for lunch and a natter, but ladies, if your ears are burning it isn't us!!!

Nana its difficult to get Dr's appointments isn't it .
I have to see Dr today for Blood results , had them took Monday and Tuesday they rang to say he wants to see me ,
If i had rang them I would have had to wait two weeks , Funny how they seem to have a slot for Friday isn't it when they call the shots

Its March already, wasn’t it only a month ago we were planning Christmas, how time flies.
Had a busy day yesterday as we made a start on decorating the hall. The ceiling is done and hopefully will start on the walls today.

How is everyone this morning, Nana hope you are not feeling too unwell. Waiting for a drs appointment is the same up and down the country. I’ve been waiting since the beginning of February for my appointment which is on the 11th March . It’s basically for a checkup considering my repeat prescription.

Oma hope your drs appointment goes well.


WeeGranny not long to wait now for your op, it will be wonderful to be pain free.
