Two shepherds pies made and a vat of butternut squash soup too...and it’s only 10.30! We are going to DD2s soon as she has a colonoscopy tomorrow and has to take ‘Fleet’ today, so she won’t be in any position to collect the boys from school and nursery!

Good morning from me. It's another glorious sunny day, even though it was frosty first things again.

Our window cleaner has just been but there's no use starting on cleaning inside while we've got Cooper here. Eva leaves her fair share of nose marks, but coops is like a one-dog licking and nosing machine and can reach a lot higher than Eva!! That's my excuse anyway.

Oma - I hope B's pre-op assessment goes ok.

Plant - enjoy feeling lazy! All the jobs can wait.

Qwerty - you're like a whirlwind - I'm exhausted just reading about the week's work you've done before breakfast!

Gem - I hope you've escaped lightly from the dentist.

Nanto and Grauntie - goodness, are you two in league with Qwerty doing all those jobs! Qwerty - I'd definitely join you for brunch. I'm cooking for us this morning to save time tonight, but don't know what's on the menu yet.

Beautiful morning here. Enjoying just pottering so far today, had a long chat in the phone with a friend, coffee in the conservatory now getting ready for lunch. DH seems a bit better today, his hands and feet are still very sore but he is more cheerful in himself.....so nice to see. Not much planned for this afternoon, might tidy some cupboards and drawers or I might just sit and read and do some knitting....who knows 😀

A lot of housework seems to be going on on this forum!!
Our window cleaner came this morning, so I should clean the insides too. Plant says not to clean them with the sun on them though, so I have an excuse
The dentist quickly and easily patched up my tooth. No need for drilling , just a filling. I came out £59.10 worse off! No injection, as I didn't need one, so that seems an awful lot of money. With paying for new glasses yesterday, it's proving to be an expensive week

Oh dear, I hope it's not the last of the good weather! We have been very lucky for February though. Frost on the ground this morning. Yesterday was the same and got to about 16 degrees!
This morning I am going with OH to drop her car in for it's MOT (and bring her home!) Today is my sister's birthday and mum and I are going to see her this afternoon and take presents and a cake. DD's birthday was 3 days ago, ex OH's 4 days ago. A family birthday week
I will do mum's shopping before I go for her, thereby freeing up my Thursday this week.

Good morning, sunny again 🌞. Supermarket for me this morning, what fun! DH much better, feet and hands still very sore but otherwise ok. He wants to come shopping with me so that says a lot.

Hospital tomorrow to get results of the scans, I’m dreading it but at least we’ll know what’s going on. We will deal with whatever the results are. I am so pleased we have this holiday booked, it give us something to talk about.

otherwise, no more plans for today. Might do a bit more in the garden before the green bin collection next week and I want to sort all the pots out. It will be nice outside in the sunshine. Have a good day everyone 🌞

Nanto I hope we get a few more days of sunshine , we haven't had the heat some have had but its been mild and bright .

Off to Retail park about 15 minutes away , I saw a nice long white lace cardigan in there last week in a shop called Klass ,
I said we will look around then I will go back for it , well of course I totally forgot so going back today to get it .

Dr rang yesterday results from Mondays Bloods back already he wants to see me Friday , so another appointment to add to list

Morning Grandmothers.

Bright and sunny so we are going out to Mumbles for the day. My sister sent cash for OH’s birthday next Sunday so we’re going to spend it at the pizza and ice cream parlour on the seafront.

Enfys I can only imagine how you feel going for the results of scans but as you say once you know you can deal with it. I really really hope it’s good news .I”ll be thinking about you.

Gem I hope you find your sister well and enjoying her birthday. I also hope your Mum is in good form. Btw I’m glad you’re being kind enough to bring S back from dropping her car off,

I need cheering up as I finally said goodbye to the car yesterday. I wanted the least hassle possible so I got in touch with Giveacar.com.This is a sort of charity organisation.They take the car for free and depending on condition either sell it at auction or scrap it. Any money made then goes directly to a charity that you can choose. Though the car was running well the lady I spoke too said that because of it’s mileage it would have to be scrapped. I daren’t tell OH this and as far as he is concerned it is going to be sold.I had a bit of a difficult time with G when the actual pick up was taking place.I felt so sorry for him “So they’re taking my car then,” It was like his baby was going. I’m hoping he will soon get over the rawness of losing it.I said before for me it’s not just like an old friend going it’s our old life we enjoyed.Anyway it’s done.
