Lovely start to the day, just want this lovely weather to continue. Went into the local small town yesterday, the sunshine made me feel so happy, I bought two pairs of shoes in my favourite shop and looked into a lovely clothes shop next door, they are both independent shops which I like. I just looked around in the clothes shop but I will be back, they have some lovely new seasons clothes in. Bumped into a lovely old friend and had a long chat. Called into M&S Food Hall and topped up bubbly stock (it was on offer) and some fruit. Bought a paper and then came back and sat in the sunroom to read it. GGS day today so hope to see him later but I MUST do some housework.

Enfys, enjoy your shop, pleased P is feeling well enough to go with you. I do hope the hospital visit goes well, I am sure you are anxious.

Gemini, I hope your mother enjoys her trip to see your sister, good idea to do her shopping today.

Hope all the poorly ones are feeling better.

Just a very quick 'good morning' from me on this beautiful sunny day.

I didn't wake up till after 9, and am still not dressed, so I'd better get a move on. I'll be back later. xx

Clover - sending hugs to you both. xxx

Good moaning each, and HELLO! (as per Gem’s request 😁)
My fingers are crossed for Mr. Enfys, glad he’s feeling a bit better. Clover, just keep in mind how much less stressful journeys will be now. Hopefully Mr C will soon get used to the idea of being chauffeur driven.
Plant, when will you be opening the bubbly? We could visit. I can bring the olives. Then we can call in on Nanto2 for roast beef.
Gem, you are always so busy, I hope your sister has a good birthday.
Oma, you cannot come back with just one item! It is against the law and I’m sure you are a law abiding citizen.
Today I am hoping we can book some holidays.
I’m desperate to get going in the garden but every morning it is frosty, so I’m hanging on for a while. I must go and tart myself up before I FaceTime my friend re holidays.
Make the most of this lovely day ladies.

Good afternoon all . Its a lovely day, the sun is shinning and its fairly warm out but its all change from tomorrow . Our local radio played the weather forecast from exactly 12 months ago, its was below freezing temperatures and snow....lots of it .

Oh Clover. that's a disappointment that your car was only fit for scrap, its a bit of a shock when you have taken care of it. Poor OH it must be so hard for him to comprehend what is happening. I feel for the both of you. Enjoy your day at the Mumbles

Enfys good to hear that P is feeling up to going shopping . Fingers crossed for tomorrow.

I must be completely raving mad, I have just ordered paint to decorate the hall

            Have a good day everyone

Clover - I hope you've enjoyed your trip to the Mumbles. Just the day for an ice cream in the sunshine, and to take your minds off the car a bit.

Enfys - I'm so pleased P is feeling a bit better, and everything crossed to the best possible results from the scan tomorrow. It's good to have a lovely family holiday to look forward to.

Gem - I hope your sister has enjoyed her birthday, and your mum was ok.

                    Oma - 2 cardigans - that's reckless extravagance!

Nanto - how nice to have your garden tidied up. I've spent a couple of hours on ours this afternoon but it doesn't seem to look much different!

Mimi - what colour are you painting your hall?

Grauntie - Did you get dressed up in your best bib and tucker for your Face Time call? And did you book your holiday?

Plant - I wish this weather could continue, but at least we've had a taste of summer far earlier than we had expected.

I'm taking Eva for an extra dog training session tonight. She's been coasting a bit in the Tuesday night class and tonight's class has more dogs and some of them will be new to her, so it will present more of a challenge to both of us!

What a lot of lovely posting today

Plant, this lovely weather has made it a pleasure to be out, hasnt it?
Clover, saying goodbye to your car is bound to be an emotional time. It is all it represents, as you say. I'm glad you went out to help take your mind off it. Make sure you get out plenty this summer by public transport or taxi. You mustn't let your trips out come to an end.
Nan2, I agree so much gardening is going on early as it has been so nice.
                              2 cardigans Oma, why not?!
Mimi, it is very On Trend here to decorate your hallway. Daisy and I have already done so this year
Enfys waiting for tests is awful. All best wishes for tomorrow.
I hope Eva does well tonight Daisy.
Did you book your holiday Grauntie? You tarting yourself up to Facetime your friend reminds me of the time OH laughed at me for saying I had to go up and straighten my fringe before the Tesco man came

Thanks for the good wishes for my sister - she is 60 Qwerty. We had a little birthday tea with her, and opened her cards and presents.
I came home after dropping mum home, collected OH and got straight back into the teatime traffic to drive her to the garage for her car (which passed it's MOT)Home again now eating very soon!

Gem - you're right - lovely posting. I know I haven't commented on everyone's post but I've been dipping in and out of GRU all day and still got behind.

Glad your OH's car passed it's MOT, and more importantly that your sister enjoyed her birthday tea party.

It was an interesting night with Eva - I'll write about it tomorrow.

Night, night everyone - I hope tomorrow's news for all our grannies is good. xx
