Awww, don't be worrying about me! There are times to be honest Oma when I feel totally overwhelmed and wonder when the time for Me is, in all this. I do make efforts to get together with friends though, which is my relaxation. I am OK, but thanks for caring“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Hi everyone, no ring to be seen Oma but it is probably somewhere in the house. I think I will visit the shops on the parade that I went into because I removed my gloves several times. I have taken off my engagement and wedding rings as they are loose when my hands are cold and I would be upset if I lost those.
I suspected things were not good with Libra's DD Oma, it must take the excitement off getting their bungalow how they want it. I think about her a lot.
Sil sees to our bins and has a collection list of dates from the council but it was a bit like the hokey cokey in our road, in, out, in, out.
Not sure what I am going to get up to today, I had a bad night, fibrulation started as soon as I went to bed and it is still fluttering.
Hope the poorly ones are feeling stronger

So sorry to,hear that Libras news is not so good. Such a shame.
Extremely cold here today, thick frost this. Ironing so I was glad we didn’t have to go out. I have my Knit and Natter this afternoon and I think I will go. P encourages me to get out and about and it certainly helps me cope with things at home. He is still feeling tired and lethargic but to be expected really, he still tries to do things but I don’t let him push himself too far.
Plant, I hope your ring turns up. One day when you least expect it, it will be there. 🤞
Hope Qwerty, Oma and anyone else feeling poorly gets better soon. Stay warm ladies 🔥"Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened." - Dr Seuss

I'm sorry that you are having problems with the fluttering Plant.
Enfys, I hope you go to your Knit and Natter group, I'm sure it does do you good.
We have almost finished De-Christmassing the house and outside! Having to have a break now, battery recharging and a snack..“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Plant, such a shame that your ring hasn't been found yet.
Oma,dad has been saying i won;t be here at Christmas for the last 20 Christmasess.
Been to a nearby farm shop, and stocked up on some lovely meat.
Then, on to the garden centre for dinner, which we both enjoyed.
Popped into the supermarket on our way home for the bread and milk for the week and some frozen veggies that i needed.Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

Lots of busy days today!
Oma - Poor Libra must be besides herself with worry. It's so sad - I was really expecting this latest MRI scan to bring better news. I'm sure all the work on her house is keeping her busy, but I don't suppose it stops the inner worries.
Plant - I hope you're feeling better and sleep ok tonight. It's a good idea to check the shops to see if your ring has been found. I love the idea of your bins playing hokey-cokey!
Enfys - I hope your Knit and Natter group was fun this afternoon and I hope P had a rest while you were out. It hasn't warmed up all day, has it. Brrrr.......
Nanto - I had to smile - your freezer is all stocked up with lovely meat, and so is ours now. But ours is for the dog!!!
Gem - our decorations are still sitting on the landing. I didn't even get round to hoovering up all the bits of tinsel etc littering the house - a job for tomorrow! Much as we love our GCs having a couple of weeks off has been a bit of a relief. Back to the usual routine on Monday - and it will be great to spend time with them again.
We had a lovely time this morning. The people we visited are very new friends and we found we've got a lot in common and found ourselves talking and laughing non-stop. We've both lived in the village for 35-40 years and vaguely knew them through another friend, but somehow our paths hadn't crossed until recently.

Good morning Nan2.
Cold here too. OH is preparing to set off to play golf, all warmly dressed. It is an end of Christmas season thing. Everyone takes something worth a fiver, puts it on the table and at the end of the match people who came first get first choice etc. A chance to offload unwanted Christmas gifts LOL. We didn't have any so she bought a candle yesterday at half price in the sale.
We never made it to the supermarket yesterday, so I will do that on my way to see my mum,
Have a good day everyone. Keep warm!“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Good Sunday morning everyone.
It's not so cold here this morning, and there's no frost.
Nanto - don't overdo that housework stuff. I've got some to do as well, but hope to get through it quickly so I can do other nicer things!
Gem - I bet it's interesting to see the prizes on the table! I hope your OH stays nice and cosy - has she got hand warmers? I hope your mum's ok today.
As I said, a bit of the dreaded housework for me this morning. Hopefully OH will feel well enough to come with me and Eva for a breath of fresh air later on. I'll get a casserole in the slow cooker for tonight with enough left over for Tuesday.
Enfys - one day closer to your GD coming home. xx
Keep warm and have a good day everyone.

New friends Daisy, sounds like a good time was had by all.
Sunny here atm, I would love an hour in the garden but I am not dressed yet.I am thinking I could go out soon and have a shower when I have finished.
Knit and natter sounds enjoyable Enfys, we have similar groups in the village, great fun.
I hope S doesn't get too cold, there is quite a lot of standing around in a game of golf.

Oh a family lunch sounds lovely Oma, enjoy! Just what you need when you have both been under the weather. I'm glad you are feeling better
I have a touch of the January Blues, a family thing at this point would be a nice thing. Maybe I will try to sort something out next January.
It's sunny now so it will have been very nice on the golf course I think. I have just watched Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, recorded on ITV last night. I saw it at the cinema when it came out but enjoyed rewatching it. I want to see the sequel at Vue on Tuesday, so seeing the first one again seemed a good plan.“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown
