Been cold here, but the rain has stopped. Even had a little show of the sun.
Qwerty, hope J is feeling better soon, poor little thing.
So Oma,you've got a smelly husband.
Made a pile of pancakes for the freezer earlier.Still a bit warm, will pack them up when they have gone cold.Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

Hope the smell doesn't linger too long Oma
Do the pancakes freeze well Nanto. I cooked some blinis a month or so ago and with the mixture at the end I made 2 large ones and stuck them in the freezer.
We finished up with a lovely sunny day but very cold day, did a couple of errands locally after WI, came home, had lunch and then fell asleep. It is aqua tomorrow in the morning and the hairdresser is coming after lunch. I don't think it would be advisable for me to go.
Hope J will be better soon Qwerty they do miss each other. Your OH and the tea bag was amusing, have you looked in there for any more?.

Been into town today to take card to printer. AS it was being made smaller, he wanted me to go back and check it was alright which meant I had to hang around longer than I'd intended. Had a slow mooch round the shops and got a nice sweater in Gap with 40% off...well it seemed to good a bargain to resist! Then had a coffee and a slice of carrot cake and got a couple of things out of M&S for tonight and tomorrow's dinner. Back to printer, all looking good and will collect on Monday.
Wind has been very cold but the sun has been shining all day
.
Last night went to see The Madness of King George at the cinema. Another live screening this time from Nottingham. It was very good. The actor who played King George was VERY good! Cinema wasn't very busy.
Still can't get much into spirit of present buying though I've got a couple of beard care sets for DS and SiL and something for DD and family. It's a house with a map of their address and a heart showing where they live. The caption under it says 'Home is where the heart is'. I hope they like it! OH has said he fancies a few day in Harrogate, so I might have a look and see if there are any nice cottages round there for rent, or hotels. Good excuse to visit Betty's !
Oma your post about smell made me think of when I used to have to go to hospital for my psoriasis and they put coal tar on it before I got bandaged up. The only problem was we had to get the bus to the hospital so you can imagine the looks I got with my bandages and smelling like the road works! Still can't stand the smell of tar!
Glad to hear Plant and Nanto are feeling better and hope little J soon gets over his laryngitis!
Keep warm everyone!
Believe you can and you're halfway there.

Oma I hope your smelly B is ok after his top up.😂 Thanks for the Wilko tree tip I got one 1/2 price.
Ventured out today to get some bits. Not out for long but enough time for us to feel poorly enough again when we got back home. Plant you put us to shame.
Qwerty I hope the twinnies were ok on their own.🤞Last edited by Nana; 23-11-2018, 02:35 AM."Good friends help you to find important things when you have lost them....your smile, your hope, and your courage."

Good morning from me. We've had a frost overnight, which is hopefully better than yesterday when it never seemed to get light.
I hope Nana and Plant doin'g overdo things - get better properly before you set the world alight, ladies! xx
Qwerty - I do hope J is feeling better - and M doesn't catch the lurgy from him. It must be hard being apart for them.
The man is coming to do the bathroom floor soon, so I'd better go and have my shower and get dressed - I don't want to frighten him off by still being wrapped up in a towel! I feel as though I could do with the world stopping for a couple of days while I sort myself out - I'm off out again this morning with a friend to do some shopping - she had Liddl vouchers to spend, and then we're going on to the usual gold club venue to meet up with other ex-college friends. My social whirl is whirling a bit too fast.
Just thinking of Sunshine having a fantastic day at Forest Mere Spa - ahhhhh! Lovely, Sunshine.

Good morning Nan2, Daisy and everyone else.
I haven't been out yet but it looks cold.
Your GD will need her warm clothes I'm sure Nan2.
Enjoy your social whirl Daisy! I hope the bathroom floor looks good.
This afternoon I m taking my mum to look at gas fires. Before that I will do her food shop, and go to Harveys to pay for our new reclining sofa which arrives next week.
My auntie phoned yesterday to say that her back which has troubled her for years, has got worse suddenly and she can only get about the house with the aid of a stick, and can't at the moment go out. Her son (who thankfully is moving back up here from down south soon, he and his wife having retired) has been staying with her and did all her shopping and sorted out some physio appointments. They have gone back now. She insists she needs nothing, but I know she needs company so OH will go and see her as soon as we can, which will be Sunday.

Good morning all.
Hope those under the weather feel better and don’t do too much too soon.
Oma how strange about B’s “ smell”. Never heard of that before.
WG how clever you are to have created cards that are worthy of printing.
I’m trying to find time to do some rock painting. I like being creative but not too good at it.
We might go to the cinema today. I’ve got to pick up an order from town anyway
Daisy ,good plan going out while you have work people in the house
Have a good day.

That's great Oma wonder you didn't wake when B came to bed.
Daisy, enjoy your girlie lunch, no good telling you to slow down.
Heavy frost this morning but nice and sunny now. No aqua for me today, cold now developed into a chesty cough. Hairdresser coming about 12 and I might pop out later to pick up a voucher from a very up market cosmetic shop for DD's Christmas present, 3 Christmas present parcels arrived yesterday so I am getting there. Two youngest GS are giving their mother a list so I will choose one from their list. Nothing decided for DS and Dil but I do have DS's birthday present. Very annoying having 3 birthdays before Christmas. Might start my Christmas cards whilst I don't feel like doing much else.
