We had a nice time at the Gaming Cafe and as GS was so occupied DD and I had a good chat too!
I told GS I will take him again next Monday when I have him for the full day, now I know what to do!

As we entertained the past two nights, it is nice to have a quiet night in, just us and the cats! It felt cold when I came home.

I think I've had a fairly productive day. We took all the decorations down, and the tree, and all the cards. I sorted out the boxes of decorations and ended up with a black bag full of half bald tinsel garlands, plastic holly, discoloured baubles and other odds and ends. OH managed to get the tree and outside lights back into their boxes and everything is now packed away ready to go back in the loft.

I took Eva for a walk in the Forest just before it went dark, came home and prepared some food for her for a week or so, got dinner and then started to search my computer for the daisy photo I wanted for my avatar. I store photos by date, and I knew I must have taken it in mid-late summer, but it took some searching to find it. I really must try and store photos more sensibly!

Gem - I'm glad you enjoyed the Gaming Cafe. I bet GS1 can't wait for Monday.

Nanto - it was cold here when I took Eva out. I think tomorrow may be colder.

Feels a bit colder than it haas for the past few mornings.

Making some individual steak and onion pies for the freezer today.
I cooked the filling yesterday in the slow cooker.
Also have a pile of ironing to do.

This morning I intend to write up the minuets of my December meeting and get those out. A visit to my mum this afternoon. I will take her shopping to her, but as I did some on Saturday it is a short list today.
I think my new tree is arriving today.

Good morning, Nanto - I hope that smiley sun in your graphic pops up today. It's dry, dull and chilly here - just the weather for a nice tasty pie.


I'm still sorting things out - it's the bookcase this time. A friend is running a book stall at a charity event in a couple of weeks, so it's a good opportunity to pass on books we know we'll never read again. So that's this morning's job, then the hairdressers at lunch time. My usual hairdresser is on maternity leave, so it will be interesting to see what happens today!

I do hope the poorly people are starting to feel better.

Gem - you posted while I was typing. It's hard doing minutes when so much has happened since the meeting - Christmas, New Year etc, etc - I hope it doesn't take too long. How is your Mum?

Gem I got about 2 hours , ive done my housework and put some washing in , im having 5 mins before I tackle the drain in the wet room floor I noticed when I was having my shower it smells a bit so needs cleaning , not a pleasant job but it gets full off soap and hair and gunk build up so got to be done

Good morning

We are still enjoying our time with DD and family They are busy,busy with the local panto,both GC performing and DD heavily involved in costumes,props and make-up.We saw the show on Tuesday and it was excellent.GD had a main part and GS was in the chorus as a policeman,villager and elephant (don’t ask!)
We go home on Saturday to a Christmas house as we left on the 27th so tree and decorations will have to be sorted out as a priority
