Good afternoon everyone. It's the lull before the storm here - a few quite minutes which could end abruptly, and in any case I have to go and collect the GDs soon.

It's cold and wet here too, although there have been a few minutes of brightness.

WeeGranny - at least it's warm waving the flat hissy thing round. Well done on getting back to yoga. I'm sure the teacher was careful you didn't overdo things. How is your back feeling?

Grauntie - someone gave me an ornamental grass which he said was wonderful and grew easily! Yes, it did - all over the border and all over the slate area in the front garden. I didn't really want it but didn't like to refuse, and then didn't feel I could just dump it in case he asked where it was in the garden. It took me ages to get rid of it and seedlings still keep popping up! Grrrr....... I shan't be so polite next time anyone offers me an invasive weed!

Enfys - I'm glad your new dentist is good. It takes the fear out of the check ups doesn't it!

Afternoon ladies.
Well my day didn't go quite as planned .
Got a phone call from Moss Bros to say B,s suit for the wedding on Friday was in . So went to Metro to collect it .
Thought better try it on to make sure ( A Ted Baker one )
Just as well he did they had ordered the wrong size luckily they had his size in store or it would have been a quick reorder.
Can you imagine if we had waited till Friday to check

Then went to Matalan I wanted a couple of blouses and a couple pair summer PJs . Didn't have any of them in my size so had to come home and order them on line with click & collect

Then went to Morrisons for Mustard powder B wanted cheese scones . They didn't have any so he will have to wait till I get to Asda now

All turned out ok in the end apart from his Scones

I’m home from my few days away in South Wales. We had a lovely time. The sun shone, the hotel was good and the food was fine. (Not amazing, but fine.) Especially as I didn’t have to cook it. It’s good to be home though.

I have spoken to OH and the cat was curled up asleep when she got in, so that was a good sign

GS1 is not happy as he used up his 2 hours screen time before school!!

Today is hair colouring and leaflet delivering. Not sure what else. I should do some some rock painting to go out for the Easter holidays.

Morning ladies , we have wet snow its not staying as its also been raining , very cold too ,
I have washer going with the darks in ,then B has to go get his injection in his shoulder this morning . he thinks his elbow hurts more but it may be from his shoulder so we will see ,
Its all due to the years of using crutches,

Nothing planned except must clean bathrooms. GGS will be next door so will probably pop in to see him. Bumped into a neighbour/friend yesterday in Homebase, she is still a bit weepy over her OH's death nearly two years ago, I treated her to a cream tea in Dunelm. I do feel sorry for her, I am trying to get her to join WI and NT groups.

Long term use of crutches must affect the arms and shoulders Gemini, hope the injection helps.

Plant, that lady will have appreciated your kindness.

We did the leaflet delivery and in fact it was sunny and I had to take my jacket off halfway round! It's looking a bit black now though. I wore my wrist splint. I wasn't sure if it would get in the way but it was fine.
We are going to Wilko and B&Q this afternoon.
