          Merry Christmas from me.

My internet connection is on a very slow "go slow" and a graphic would send it into meltdown, so I'll jut say have a warm and loving day and enjoy every minute. xx

Well DS's turkey was a success and he cooked it well! Though I did the rest! Relaxing now before an early night methinks. Forgot to say I had a lovely cuddle with DS's friend's baby daughter yesterday. It was sooo nice to hold a little one !
hope you've all had a so wonderful day x

We've had a lovely day, too, despite .....(well I'll tell all on the Christmas Ooops thread). I had some lovely presents, including a Kenwood mixer, so no excuse now for not baking!

It was very relaxed and I think/hope everyone enjoyed themselves. Both girls were very excited, and pleased with their presents. I'm off to bed, tired out!

                      Sleep well everyone.

Pleased you all had a good day. OH said he'd take on the job of cooking Christmas dinner to give me a break & a great job he did too. Off to my brother's Boxing day (today) where I'll meet up with my sister too. Love my family.

Good morning everyone, Happy Boxing Day!

It was good to read about people's days yesterday.
Nana I hope you have a lovely family day today.
Nan2, I hope you have lovey relaxing day!

DD2's for a family day for us today.

No DD3 this year so not only do we miss her and SIL, DD1 and I have to bring more food! My DD's dad and OH won't join us until teatime, as they are at her parents for lunch, so don;t contribute to the food.
We are bringing the Christmas puds, a chocolate cake for the kids, plus brandy sauce, cream and vegan cream. I am also making the started of prawn, smoked salmon and avocado. Just avocado for the veggie/vegans, to which smoked tofu will be added when we get there. Yum

This morning I will prepare the starters to take, and we will go for my mum at 12.30.
                            Have a good day everyone!

Good Boxing Day morning from me, too.

I'm sure those having a quiet day will relish the rest.

Gem - Your day sounds lovely and very yummy.

We're not sure what's happening. DS1 and family are due to come for the day and stay overnight, but DS1 wasn't very well yesterday and got worse as the day wore on, so we're waiting to see how he is today and then will decide what to do! We've got tons of left over food so I don't have to panic about feeding everybody or nobody! We'll see how the day rolls.

                                Good morning, happy Boxing Day.

we had a lovely day yesterday. The buffet lunch went really well, such a lovely choice of delicious things to eat and we all voted it a success. We were all also very happy with our presents, Dexter especially loved ripping off the paper on his numerous new toys, so funny to watch him. I had perfume, a big box of Yankee candles, chocs and my best present, funnily enough, was a mini bean bag to rest my iPad on! DGS gave me it and I know I will be using it all the time, so thoughtful and unusual. It was so nice to be all together and catch up,on all their news. We also play some great games that DD had discovered, you played them on your iPad or phones but it was all on the tv as well and very interactive and so funny too. We were in stitches most of the time. Som o tv on all day (apart from to play the games) which was great. More of the same today, we are going to DDs, later this afternoon for tea and the evening with them. So a relaxing lazy morning here. Glad to hear you have had a lovely Christmas so far, enjoy the rest of the day xxx
