Nanto - well done on getting your cards posted. I bet it's no surprise to you that I haven't!!!

WeeGranny - it's nice when you look back on a day and feel you've achieved a lot, especially going to the gym as well. Well done.

Enfys - it does you good to have an evening out, especially with all those goodies. I bet your DD knew exactly who the player was - I'm glad he was nice and friendly because you hear so much about professional footballers not really caring about their fans.

Nanto - my OH is the same - keeps all sorts of bits saying 'they'll come in handy some day'.

It's been a wild, rough day here today. I took Cooper back about 4 pm, and there was one of the most incredibly beautiful sunsets I've ever seen. I was gutted I didn't have my camera with me, but then, Cooper isn't much good at waiting patiently, so it's perhaps as well. As I drew into the car park a few drops of rain started to fall. I opened the car door and as I stepped out it was like someone had thrown a bucket of water over us. In less than 5 minutes it had stopped! How unfair is that.

          Happy 2nd Birthday to B!
Hi to everyone I didn't respond to yesterday as I was out so much, I have read though all your chat

GS2 all day today, then GD from school, usual Friday routine.
I won't get chance to pop in on auntie so must go tomorrow to say hello and see if there is anything we can do.
          Have a good day everyone.

Good morning everyone from me, and very happy second birthday to B. As Nanto says, it doesn't seem like two years.

            Busy day for you, Gem.

Nanto - I hope your in-laws are ok.

It's nice and sunny here - I hope it lasts because the ground's already saturated.

Hopefully I can have a relatively uninterrupted day at home trying to catch up with those pesky chores. It's all very well going out but those flippin' dust bunnies appear while my back's turned and spread themselves round. I don't know how changing the bedroom floor can make the whole house so dusty!!

Sunny here too Daisy, the wind blew from from the woods direction yesterday so we are covered in soggy leaves. My Aqua really tires me in a relaxed way, I kept nodding off inn the evening and still slept like a log. Food shopping for me this morning and National Trust group this afternoon although I think I have heard the speaker before.

It certainly doesn't seem two years since Brian received Martin's //bone marrow.

Hope Qwerty is having an enjoyable time.

Morning ladies. Two years since the transplant B...hooraaayyy❣

Still haven't found my cards yet but a plus came about from that. I found the cot instructions & tools. I'm needing to change the cot level from high to low for my GS3 who is staying tomorrow with his brother & mummy. Sadly my nephew, partner & 3 children have had to cancel the family get together on Sunday.😟

Decorating a dozen small Christmas cakes today. Enjoy your day everyone.

I knew I'd put them in a safe place. Put the kettle on love. I'll be round in a bit, (I wish😉).

It’s a sunny good afternoon from me .
How is everyone, I am in the middle of cleaning the oven so I thought I would pop on here and have a bit of a catch up whilst the oven cleaner does it’s job.
This morning I wrote out a few Christmas cards to give out tonight when we have a meal with the outlaws. Nana I looked in my pile of cards but yours were not in amongst them, hope you find your before the last posting date.

                      Oma, can’t believe it’s 2 years since B’s transplant !

Have a a good day everyone

Bring me sunshine in your smile.

Mimi - I'm having a little break from household chores as well. A quick clean round the livng room ended up in OH and I spending half an hour sorting out the shade on a floor lamp. I decided to take it off to give it a wash, and we couldn't get it back on! Ideally, we needed a 6 month hold baby's hands with the dexterity skills of a concert pianist!

Nana - those card will turn up - probably in January, so you can put them in a safe place for next year.

Oma - you can put those cards back in the loft ready for next year, too.

Plant - Aquz sounds like the right kind of exercise. Relax when you get back from your NT meeting and put your feet up. xx

Good afternoon. Sunny here at the moment but showery earlier. Beautiful rainbows to compensate.

Happy transplant Birthday to Oma’s B.

I had to chase up hospital appointment with haematologist due in December but no sign of. His secretary said he is on leave for all of December It’ll be the New Year now but she said she’ll try to get me the earliest appointment available.Years ago I wouldn’t have dared or even thought to ring a Consultant’s secretary.

Been to work this morning . Now sitting here thinking I should be making a cake of some sort. It’s hard to get going once I’ve sat down.

Clover - I can never resist a beautiful rainbow.

Instead of making a cake, perhaps you should be sitting with your feet up after a busy morning.

I hope you get an appointment for early January with the Haematologist. I find most Consultant's secretaries are really helpful and will go out of their way to make convenient appointments for you, or whatever you need.

Happy Birthday to Brian, can’t believe it’s two years!

Clover, you have a rest and putyour feet up, make the cake tomorrow x.

Had a a good day today, P feeling so much better we actually went out to the shops, his idea too. Walked all around the shops and he was fine, no breathlessness at all. Then after lunch he walked up to the chemist for his prescription! Now he’s on the computer. I’m so pleased, as we wanted him to be feeling a bit better before the chemo starts on Monday.

Was very lazy last night and did my Christmas present shopping online and they came this morning. DD had sent me links to things for them so it was so easy to just click and buy. Usually I love going round the shops at this time of year but not this year. Only need to wrap them, unless Alexa could do that 😃.

I'll send my Alexa round to give her a hand. I have spread presents out over the floor of the spare room just to check I have everything, just one to be delivered. I sorted out all the receipts in case any have to go back plus the wrapping. Not in a Christmassy mood to wrap them yet.

Got the wrong Friday for the National Trust meeting, it was last week. I wondered why there were no cars in the carpark. What am I like!

So pleased to hear P was feeling better today and he was happy to go shopping Enfys.
