Daisy you must be the busiest person on our site , you’ll meet yourself coming backwards soon
Its sleepover time for Dd tonight but guess whose just rung up to see if she can come too ,she doesn’t want to stay with daddy I bet he’s rubbing his hands 😀 good job I got enough bacon for breakfast now
It does seem quiet on here mind you it’s quiet at home the lul before the storm I’m guessing , have a lovely weekend ladies 😀

Nice to hear from you Libra 😊
Just waking up from the best 2and a half hours sleep ever. No sleep for over 24 hours, our own lovely comfy bed, it was bliss. I could have slept much longer, but have to get back to UK time, and Mr Tesco due in a while! Catch up with you all over the weekend!“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Hello Libra. So glad you are back with us.
Qwerty if you have seen the previous Jurassic films it’s much the same Lots of improbable situations and escapes but the whole film is a fantasy after all.How they “do “ the dinosaurs is amazing when you think about it.
Maisie is as cute as her brother. She’s so pretty.
Gem glad you had some good sleep.More of the same tonight I guess.

Gem - welcome home! I'm sure there were lots of hugs and a few tears saying goodbye to DD3 and SIL, but you mentioned they'd be back in the UK early in the New Year, so not long to wait. Apparently it's 10 weeks to New Year!
Libra - fantastic to see you posting from even further 'down south'. I'm sure the dogs will love their new walkies, and you'll enjoy getting your new home how you want it. Take it easy and spend time finding those special touches that make it home. xx
Plant - your GCs might be grown up, but they still need their Gran!
Qwerty - just off to look at your picture.

We got back from our hols too today. Really lucky with the weather. Lovely times spent on beaches sitting in the sunshine. M1 shocking though on way home. Took double the time getting home. Like Gem said there's nothing like being in your own bed. Night ladies."Good friends help you to find important things when you have lost them....your smile, your hope, and your courage."

Morning all, keep thinking it is Sunday, thought yesterday was Sat. GD still off work, haven't seen her yet but her car is still there. Nothing planned, might go to JL or might plant some bulbs.
Hope you are catching up with British time Gemini
Not late for me Oma, just had my breakfast. Cameras sound good, if you get bored you can watch the wild night life.
Welcome back Nana, pleased you had some good weather, hope you are feeling better after a relaxing break.
Lovely to hear from you Libra, look forward to your posts from DevonWhat is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare

Good morning all!
Welcome back Nana, no jet lag for you
Hi Nan2!
We can't visit you by surprise now Oma, you will see us coming
DD3 and I had a few tears Daisy, but we both held back for each other's sake I think. Lots of hugs of course! Sad to say goodbye, but wonderful to spend such a block of time with them as she is the DD I see least of normally. I will finish up my Canada thread soon.
I slept well, falling asleep around 10.30 last night and I woke before the 10.45 am alarm I had set for myself. I need to go to the library for mum, and it closes at 12.30 on Saturdays. A visit to Mum this afternoon, and The Full Monty at the theatre tonight, just OH and me. Apart from that today will be making a start on the holiday washing. DD has no washing machine or dryer, so we didn't do any washing . I want to put our photos on the laptop too, and catch up with TV recordings (we did some last night) and online.
Happy Saturday everyone“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Sorry for the brief post above. I wanted to make sure the internet wasn't going to swallow my post wholesale and 'lose' it!
Gem - you did very well to get a good night's sleep, but it's a good job because it's straight back into catching up with everything! Have a lovely time at the theatre tonight - don't fall asleep in the interval! I hope DD3 has a busy day today because she'll be sad you're not there.
It's nice to have most of you home again - you have all been missed.
Nana - I'd love to hear about the various places you visited - and the beaches.
Oma - I think your security cameras could provide better entertainment than most tv shows!
Plant - I kept thinking it was Saturday yesterday. I've no idea what day it is today!!!
Just going to have a quick lunch - homemade soup, and then off to dog training. It's a 2 hour session but I don't think my back could cope with that so I'll just do an hour. See you later.
