Yes B is ok about waiting when the Hernia pops out he just pops it back in again , its not causing any trouble yet so he could afford to wait .

Spoke to Libra this morning , she's a bit overwhelmed with all the work she's having done its been none stop and she still has the Kitchen fitters coming in on the 3rd December and the Bathroom the 10th December , what with all that plus T and the children its getting to her a bit .

My clock is out too I never know how to change it

I ordered 2 winter cardigans on Sunday,and they have just been delivered.
They were half price and free delivery. Off to check them out now.

Hope the poorly ones feel better soon. I think sometimes they hit a muscle when giving injections, perhaps that is your problem Nana. Don't let it put you off Gemini, even the slightest symptoms are better than getting the flu.I sometimes get a red warm patch but nothing more.

Hope the cardigans are to your liking Nanto. I have ordered several Christmas presents on-line arriving in different pick-up places so I have to write them all down. I still have 5 to buy and 1 birthday present.

This is the first chance I've had to get on here today, so apologies Gem, and our star early bird, Nanto, I have only just seen the report from the upgrade, and it was timed 5.46 am!

Gem I'm glad the fog cleared up for you. It's been dry but dull here all day, but very mild for November. I hope you're having a lovely evening with your friend. I had the flu jab yesterday, and I'm fine. My arm was slightly sore but ok now. If you got the flu, who would look after your mum? I don't want to try and persuade you, but I was chatting to the pharmacist yesterday and he said very few people get a reaction of any kind.

Oma - it sounds sensible to wait for B's immune system to get up to speed - you don't want to risk any infections.

Clover - I love home made vegetable soup.

Nana - poor you. Coughs can go on and on and are very tiring. It's probably best not to risk passing it on to the GCs, and you should be resting not running round.

Nanto - you can't beat a good length warm cardi for the winter - something to snuggle into on a chilly day.

Poor Libra - I know she wanted to get the house sorted out as quickly as possible but it's such an upheaval moving, let alone doing all that work, plus worrying about T and looking after the girls. Oma - when you speak to her send her a big hug from me, please. xx

I forget what I've ordered if I do a lot of online shopping. I really ought to keep a note of things! I did remember I'd ordered a large quantity of fishy treats for Eva - how could I forget when the couriers were sending me daily then almost hourly updates! I'm not complaining - it was a very good service, but you would have thought I'd ordered the Crown Jewels not dried fish skins!!

It looks like another early night for me tonight. Getting up at 6 am four days in a row isn't good for me! OH's hospital trip went smoothly - we thought we'd have to make a long detour because of roadworks, but the road we needed was open and we got there early. Oh'ss eye is red and sore, like it always is, but I think he's due to see the Consultant next month, so we're just waiting for that appointment to come through.

We were back home before 10.30, so I was able to make a coffee and some lunch for OH before going out to the hairdressers. I managed to fit in a bit of shopping as well - various seeds and things from the health food shop (for bread making), birthday cards for December, and a few other bits and pieces. For some reason all the card shops seemed to be full of Christmas cards! In November!!

Good evening all, better late than never, had a particularly bad night, I couldn’t turn over in bed my shoulder was in pain as well as my neck, I had to get out of bed and walk round to change sides, this morning I was due at the hairdressers for 9.30 I wouldn’t have gone except we have a meal booked for Sunday with the family for our anniversary , but it was a good move because I couldn’t feel sorry for myself and by the time I got back 3 hrs later I felt much better, hope it’s better tonight .
Oma I think if he can put up wityh the hernia it’s a good plan 👍🏻

Qwerty - we don't know yet how many injections OH will need. It depends on what effect the current sequence of 6 jabs have had. I know Gem's auntie has them every 9 weeks. We hope we'll get some answers when he sees the consultant next month. It's not very pleasant but if it maintains or improves the condition it's worth it.

Daisy my auntie is on 11 weeks between treatments atm, they vary it depending on how well it is doing. She has never found it painful, so I feel very sorry for your OH.

Our hairdresser is due at 9, then little GS not long after, and GD to collect from school.
