Good morning everyone. It's mild here as well today. Long may it last, although it looks as though winter is on its way next week.

Nanto - thanks - OH slept well, which is always good. His eye's still sore but it gradually improves over the second and third days. Gem - your auntie is doing very well. Eleven weeks is really good. My OH is terrified of hospitals and needles, and couldn't even watch me putting contact lenses in when I wore them. So he's coping very well and is grateful there is a treatment available.

Nanto and Gem, how lovely having your hairdresser come to the house.

Gem - Have a lovely day with GS, and GD after school.

This is the first day this week I haven't got anything planned, but the house is crying out for a bit of TLC so I might get stuck in with the sucky up thing and a duster.

It’s grey and drizzling here! I’ve been a busy bee. Cleaned two bathrooms, making Chelsea Buns with my new bread maker, sorted my sheet music for choir practice tomorrow, paid some bills in Portugal (on-line), now having a cuppa before shopping and then gs’s arrive with DIL!

Avo - you have been a busy bee. I've never thought of using my bread maker for cakes. Do let us know how they turn out - I love Chelsea buns. You've earned your cuppa. Do you enjoy your choir practice? I can imagine it must be quite frustrating if you're tackling a new and difficult piece.

Plant - hope the clinic goes well for you.

Oma - Eva's asleep as well! Lazy doggies. It sounds as though you just ought to follow Storm's example today and take it easy. I bet your hairdresser was pleased to keep the whole family when he went out on his own.

I've made a bit of progress - on the 3rd load of washing, done a bit of tidying up and putting things away, and I've finally accepted that summer is over and put my summer trousers away and got out winter ones. But this has just added to my washing pile, as some of the summer ones are looking a bit grubby!

Afternoon all. OH having a quiet day as I have no voice 😉 As always the soreness in my throat seems to subside when this happens. Qwerty I hope your neck pain is better. I wonder what you did to make it so sore?

Oma your post made me smile. I could just imagine everyone lined up ready for their turn to be in the hairdresser's chair. You need to play music then it will be like musical chairs.😂

Daisy I feel for your OH, I really do. I hope the injections will lessen over time.

Anyone heard from Enfys yet. I hope she's ok.

My neck was quite good Nans when I went to bed but got up for the loo about 6 and had a carry on getting out of bed because of my shoulder, now it’s ok again wonder if it because I’m laying down, mattress and pillows are still fairly new, or it’s the position I get myself into.

Been to Sainsbury's and taken advantage of the Nectar offer! Made good use of it this year....I usually forget that it's on!

Qwerty, your SiL sounds a bit like mine. He's in the police force and does a lot of undercover work and seems to know a lot of dodgy people!! Best we don't know what he actually does.

Putting stuff away in garage and ladder( which lives on its side along the wall) decided to tip over and scraped down my leg. Luckily I had jeans on but I think there's going to be a nasty bruise there. B***** sore though!

                      Have a good evening everybody.

p.s. Don't know if Children in Need isn't as popular as it once was, but there wasn't anybody dressed up nor shaking buckets in S'bury's today.

I'm surprised at that about Sainsburys WeeGranny. We don't watch it though.
Not going out shopping tomorrow, hubby has a couple of jobs he wants to do.
So, i'm going to cook meat, potatoes and veg in the slow cooker, and make some pies on Sunday for the freezer.

Nanto - I hope you managed to get your fish and chips before the hairdresser arrived.

Plant - I made banana bread last week-end, but just in the oven. I hope the film was good.

WeeGranny - well done on making the most of your Nectar points. Have you got Arnica cream to put on your bruised leg?

Qwerty - what are you like! First your neck, now your shoulder - you're not even safe in your own bed, lass. Perhaps it will be better now you're not in a time warp. I hope it hasn't stopped you enjoying your GD1's company tonight. I bet she was excited about her sleep over.

After the tidying up and washing I waved the yellow thingy around and sprayed some polish stuff - it always smells as though I've worked a lot harder than I have! After running round most of the house with the sucky up thing I'm really pleased! I can relax and hopefully get out in the garden tomorrow. The forecast is for mostly sun over the week-end and there are a few jobs I must do before the cold weather destroys my enthusiasm next week!

Nanto - we posted together! How lovely to have a freezer full of home made pies. Do you make your own pastry?

Daisy, i used to make my own pastry, but now i use Jus roll or supermarkets own brand ready rolled.
If i can find something to make cooking/baking easier i will.Thats if we like it.

Qwerty, and anyone else feeling under the weather, hope you feel better soon.

                              Drizzling here this morning.

                                Good morning all.
I'm glad to hear you slept well Nan2!

Today is a day of collecting parcels! I have to go to the royal mail collection place, M&S and Asda.
OH wants to go to Home Bargains as someone from golf told her about a cheap luxury cat food there that their elderly cat loves. We are also going back to the friends with the curtain poll. OH wasn't happy with how she left it, it needs longer screws in or something, It is a new house with plasterboard walls, so it's not easy.

                                Enjoy your Saturday everyone.
