Good morning all.

Looks promising weather wise So washing on and second load ready to go.Then I hope to get tidying the garden ready to put it to bed for the winter. I just want to get a few more daffodil bulbs to put in but as the summer stuff is still going strong I might have to wait a while.Our neighbours are having their old brick chimney taken down so I think being outside will be better than listening to all the banging indoors.

I think I must be the only person sleeping! I really don't know you so many of you cope on so little sleep.

Yes, the weather forecast is lovely for today. It's my OH's birthday today and we're having a day pottering round, might go out for a light lunch, and friends have invited us for dinner tonight, along with another couple who are also celebrating a birthday. So hopefully a nice relaxed day.

WeeGranny - how lovely to catch up with good friends. Minehead is nice - we did a lovely walk round Baggy Point when we were down there with the caravan in the summer. I think it's in my Journal. Minehead to Brighton - you will be almost passing our front door. If you've got time and need a break we've always got the kettle on.

Enfys - that's good news about P. You must both be relieved and pleased. xx

Plant - I bet those scones went like hot cakes!!

Qwerty - I hope your OH's appointment goes well today. Hopefully it will put him back on track.

Oma - I feel your pain with the leaves! The horse chestnut tree outside our house has been shedding leaves for weeks, first with the dry weather, now because it's Autumn. They seem to get everywhere.

Gem - I'm sure you're too excited at seeing DD3 and SIL to feel jet lagged today - I hope so anyway. Have a great time.

Clover - it's a shame to disturb summer plants when they're still doing well - but the daffs will put a smile on your face in the spring.

Good morning. Lovely morning here and we both had a good nights sleep. Sorry for this of you that don’t sleep well, I really can’t function if I don’t sleep.

DD still poorly, she tried to go into work today after two days off but they sent her home. I’m sure she will benefit from another few days off, they certainly didn’t want her spreading it around.

DHs exercise test today, I will go,with him then I can be there to,hear what the anaesthetist has to say. Clover, my summer plant are still lovely too, so I am leaving them as long as possible. I want to,get some more pansies etc for the two big pots at the front of the house but that’s it. Also the grass will need cutting over the weekend.

Enfys - your poor DD. I hope she feels better soon. I hope everything goes well with P's exercise test today. It sounds as though he's so much better in himself, so fingers crossed the test results agree. xx

Afternoon ladies , been a busy morning for me shopping wise ,
We started off at Aldi then went to The Range , then to Morrisons , came home had some lunch then to Lidle ,

Went to the range for new Cake/Biscuit tins as one of mine has came apart at the seam and B tried to solder it but its gone again ,
Didn't come out with tins but did buy a new Ironing board cover , a large Santa and some tin foil Dishes ,
I have my eye on a cookie Jar for Christmas in there , its a large Nutcracker soldier , I was tempted to buy today but thought I would think about it , well ive thought about it im getting it

Enfys how has P's test gone ?
Your poor DD she must feel so poorly and trying to go to work wasn't wise was it xx

Clover the noise will be deafening just as well its a day you can get out into the garden .
Daisy have you been out to lunch with the Birthday boy then

Afternoon ladies bored to tears after cleaning doors of kitchen cupboards, decluttering under the sink , washed the tea and coffee canisters and various odd ornaments one keep a on the window sill
Waiting for OH to come back from therapist and then a milky latte me thinks
Enfys your DD sounds quite poorly hope she comes round soon a couple of extra days at home will help, glad all went well with P yesterday
Oma a query about the biscuit tin, how do you get your hand in to the bottom of the said soldier surely his head is narrower than the rest of him how do you get the last biccy out 🤷*♀️
I so sympathise with those ladies who are not sleeping last night was my fourth night of spasmodic sleeping fed up now I dread going to bed bit to be honestOH isn’t sleeping neither, I may take a pill tonight 🙇*♀️

Sorry to hear your DD is still feeling poorly Enfys, good job they sent her home. Hope P's hospital visit went okay.

Qwerty, get your hear out of those kitchen cupboards and go out and enjoy the sunshine. Hope J's visit was successful and that you both get some sleep.

Hope J’s appointment went well, Qwerty. Just back from hospital, exercise test went ok. His lung function is a bit down but they aren’t surprised after the year he’s had. They are still happy for the op etc to go ahead so that’s good. Advised to carry on with exercise and just stop and rest if it gets too much then carry on, so our Heart Club visits will do us both good.
