Got back from Portugal yesterday and so feeling chilly! We have had lots of showers and some enormous hail stones today, seems like my attempt to bring back some nice weather has failed 😂☔️🥶

Well it had to rain didn't it,surely the sky must be running out of rain soon.
It was lovely and sunny in town this morning, but when we were in the cafe having dinner,the rain was bouncing of the floor.
Hope Daisy's barbecue wasn't rained off.

We’ve had a lovely day here (sorry to those that haven’t) and I did manage a bit of gardening.

Evening folk it’s been a hectic day for us at DS we celebrated the twins birthday today as they are away tomorrow at 5.30 in the morning , House was full of family it got a bit much for the kids they were slightly overwhelmed.
Daisy hope the weather has been ok for dil 40th , it chucked it down about 3 here torrential rain we had been sat outside only minutes before.
Clover what are you going to spend all that money on 🤭

Qwerty we had our garden chairs and parasol and were sat in the garden, waiting for a friend who was dropping a present off for OH. Before she arrived it clouded over so we came in, and not long after she arrived it rained. Stupid weather.

We had a nice meal with our friends tonight, most enjoyable.

Whizzing by yet again. Off to visit my pal in France today. Been awake most of the night with very poorly cat. I feel really bad that I’m going to have to pass on a vet visit to DD1.

OH's birthday, so we are off to the seaside. As my DDs are disorganised in these matters they all wanted to come today to drop off presents! As we are seeing DD3 tomorrow OH is happy to wait for their's. The other 2 are dropping in this morning I think so we have to delay our trip until they get themselves over here!

I'm so sorry for all the people who had rain yesterday, but I am very thankful that we didn't get it. Like Clover, we had a lovely sunny day, although it went a bit chilly in the evening. I'll write about it in my Journal later.

Avo, poor you, it must be horrible coming back to such awful weather after sunny Portugal.

Grauntie - enjoy your trip to see your friend in France. What part of France is it? I do hope kitty is ok, and she's back to normal by the time you get home.

Another lovely day today. Yesterday I managed to get most of my pots planted up and finished this morning, Just hanging baskets to do now.

DH been struggling a bit this week but he would insist on trying to get the deck lights fitted yesterday. In the end I had to get really cross with him and threatened to throw them in the bin if he didn’t stop and rest. He finally saw sense and is going to leave it Until he feels up to it. So stubborn! So this morning he sat at the computer and edited one of his films and feels a bit better now.

Facetimed DS this morning, they will be here in 6 weeeks! Can’t wait to see them, DGS has grown so much in the 6 years since we saw them last.

Afternoon all think it must be in the air I felt a bit down this morning perhaps because the twins are not here for their real birthday and certainly not within car distance.
Enfys your OH is like a lot of men stubborn and don’t like to give in, he will feel better for the rest, 6 weeks will soon pass you will see such a difference in your grandson
Gem the weather here Is not too bad might be a bit cooler on the coast but you will still get the cobwebs blown off you , hoping your a bit more chirpier than yesterday ,

Hello from a very hot and sunny Rome just been in the Basilica beautiful thought the Pope might of popped his head out of the Vatican to see us but he's to busy for us Riff Raff 😊 hope everyone is ok .
