GS2 day, and GD from school. Once again OH is playing golf, this time because the Lady Captains Lunch was yesterday their usual playing afternoon. No nap for GS, he will come with me to school.

We've planned an exciting morning with Mr Sainsbury and the Garden Centre, followed hopefully pruning the apple trees this afternoon. We know how to live it up!

Morning all. A misty one here and quite fresh when I put the recycling out. I’m hoping the sun will come out later as I’ve done a big load of washing and I want to hang it out when I get back from work.

Clover we have a bright day but its cold , you may be lucky getting washing out but it may not dry well ,

My G nephew just sent me a Video of Isabella she is so sweet she was sneezing her little head off

I have my hair cut at 10.30 then going to see GS1 he got back at about 6 last night he was very tired from the long journey ,

I have a bad head today , it was so noisy and lots of laughter last night I feel like I have a hangover on Water and lemonade

We meeting up again in a few weeks but just us two and two of the nurses so we can eat and chat better .

We are back home enjoying a very welcome cuppa. We had breakfast in the hospital restaurant and very nice it was too. Two English breakfasts for £4.20, what a bargain.

We are both feeling completely shattered. It’s been a tough couple of weeks, a scan on Tuesday and again today and P is suffering with the side effects of the chemo much more this time. I feel so sorry for him and there’s nothing I can do. He has very sore hands and feet, cannot walk very far. The doctor has explained it’s all to do with the chemo. But it’s tough for him at the moment. For the first time he is feeling a bit down about it all and I just hope the results from the scan are good. Keeping everything crossed.

Morning all, its another nice day here

Daisy when OH fell yesterday he was in the street where our opticians are so he went into there to get them fixed. They sat him down and gave him a cup of tea while he waited for them to worked miracles on his glasses .
He is a little sore in places but the stubborn man has been outside this morning treating the patio to a anti stain treatment which involved moving several large planters and the grow house .

Enfys so sorry to hear that P is suffering from the effects of the chemo and it must be so hard to see him so unwell and apart from being there for him there isn't anything you can do to make him feel better. My heart goes out to you both.

Evening ladies I’m sorry if I don’t catch up on posts it’s been a funny old week, had the twins Sunday and Monday ,eldest Tuesday and Wednesday and since then I have felt really out of sorts and so flipping tired , but reading some posts on here it’s no so bad compared think if I feel like this Monday I will see the doctor , I have a few other symptoms too
Enfys sorry to hear P isn’t so good , I suppose after all his braveness he’s bound to have the odd time he will get down, it’s hard on you too , hope the results are cheerful
Mimi that must have been a shock for him to fall, it’s something we both dread a trip up or something to make us fall our reflexes are not as good as we get older, hope he feels better soon
Oma hope B results are good he’s doing marvellous. A new baby in the family I love the name we have an Isobel in our family congrats to you .
Glad g/s is home safe there will be a lot to talk about when he gets over the jet lag
Plant hope Dd is coming round I’m hopeless after an anaesthetic I’m sick for a couple of days it’s so slow leaving my system
The weather has been gorgeous here can’t believe it’s February , sorry if your not feeling the weather I have sat outside today with a cuppa it’s bizarre

Enfys - poor P, he must be feeling a bit fed up with the side effects he's getting at the moment. I hope something can be done to ease them. You're doing a fantastic job supporting him, and I'm sure that isn't always easy. Sending hugs. xxx

Oma - I hope your headache got better.

We went and did the supermarket shop today, then on to the garden centre for some veg seeds and a few bits and pieces. I don't know how I managed to spend nearly £80 but I did!! Then on the way home we called in on DS1 and DIL at work. OH went and got cakes from the bakery while I made the tea! We got a wonderful welcome from Cooper even though he didn't get cakes. By the time we'd got home, put the shopping away and had lunch I didn't feel like doing much else, then the neighbour whose cats I've been looking after called round so we sat and chatted.

The weather continues to be horrible. The mist hasn't fully lifted all day and it's been chilly again.

It's a misty morning here but I think the forecast is good. It has been lovely for the last few days.

Enfys it must be rough on your OH (and therefore you too) No wonder it's starting to get him down. I hope he starts to feel better soon.
Qwerty, a busy time for you with the GC! The tiredness may be nothing, but always worth having these things checked out.

This morning I am meeting DD1 in town. Tomorrow is her birthday, so I will be giving her her present and we will have a catch up over coffee while GS is at his drama group.
No other plans for today so far.
