I cancelled my client this afternoon, and have booked him in for next Monday. Just relaxing at our friend's house this morning made me realise I'm not as well as I thought, and every attempt at talking made me cough.
I hope to be well for the meeting tomorrow, but if not someone else will have to take the minutes.

My GC in Hertfordshire have started their Easter break but local schools here in Wales are still open.

I went to town and chased round trying to find an Easter Egg for GS who has a peanut allergy. Everything says “may contain nuts”. I think DD let’s him have things labelled as such as long as it doesn’t specify peanuts but I’ll have to check.
Btw do you send Easter cards? I only send/give to close family and special friends not my entire Christmas list.

Gem it it was a good idea to postpone your client. These bugs can really take it out of you and you did say your DD isn’t 100% yet.

It’s been a lovely sunny day here .The countryside is really greening up.

It can cause all sorts of problems when schools have different holidays, but it helps to spread the demand (and hopefully reduce the price) of holidays.

Gem - I think you were wise to put off your client this afternoon - you need to rest and get better.

Clover - it used to be difficult to get gluten- and dairy-free Easter eggs, but today there's plenty of choice, so hopefully nut-free ones will eventually be the same.

It's been a glorious day today, but the forecast for tomorrow looks pretty wet for us.

I have sent my apologies for this morning's meeting, so as not to be coughing and croaking throughout it!
GS1 to pick up from from after school computer club for me, but not until 4.

We have seen spots of blood, so I think the time to send kitty for a scan has come . I will contact the vet.
I want to cancel our anniversary night away on Sunday, as it's not fair on her or the neighbours who feed them to leave her just now.
We will rebook for a bit later I hope.

After that gloom and doom, I will wish you all a good Tuesday!

Good morning, very dull and wet here. I have an appt with the hospital dentist to check the tooth they are removing when the effect of the injection I have for my bones is due again and then they will remove it before the next one. It is not paining me now, I would rather keep it.

Gem, I hope you will be feeling better soon. Poor kitty, I hope the vet can make her better.

Poor DD1 has taken the day off sick, so I won't be going for GS1. At least she has a chance to rest until 4.
The vet will talk to me this afternoon re the scan. The vet we have been seeing isn't in this morning.
