We have been up hours.
MIL was taken into hospital by ambulance early this morning, got a call from Bs sister could B go down as no one was with her,
So far no idea what is wrong we got no information from his sister,
He said he would ring when he has any news ,
Apparently his other sister was there when she went in the ambulance but for some reason didn't go.
Strange family he has.

So I have done washing made the beds cleaned through and sprayed the weeds on the drive,
I'm about to pot a plant up I bought yesterday.

Little E day today. He will be arriving a little later than usual as DD has to pick up a prescription from her surgery.
E and I have playdate with little S (a year younger than E) and her mum - our next door neighbours.
They have a mostly gravel and raised beds back garden and we have lawn, patio and a sandpit, so it makes more sense for them to play here.

Nanto, I love the colourful flowers. I can understand you not wanting to go past your in-law's old home. It must bring back so many memories. It's good to read you're feeling like your old self again. xx

Oma, I can imagine B's face when you stuck your fingers in the hot glue! Burns really hurt, so I hope your fingers heal quickly. I hope MIL is ok. I suppose there was a reason B's sister didn't go with her in the ambulance, but it does seem strange. You've made good use of the early start.

Lizzie, I'm pleased to see you are feeling better. You must be relieved as it's been one thing after another for you lately. The plants are lovely - so colourful.

Gem, how lovely to have a play date with little S next door. Your garden is definitely more child-friendly, and I bet both her and E love the sandpit. Hopefully they will entertain each other and you nd your neighbour can relax in the sunshine. Good luck to S in the golf competition. Did she get the shorts she wanted in the end?

We had an early (for us) start. We ran out of time to water the back garden last night, so OH went out first thing and spent 1 ½ hrs drenching everything. Everywhere is so dry at the moment. I keep seeing jobs that need doing, but haven't got the energy to do them, which is frustrating. We've got to take Eva to the vet's this afternoon - not ideal in this heat, but she was due to go on Monday which is a Bank holiday. We'll bring her back home to decompress before taking her over to DS2's this evening. My hospital appointment tomorrow is at 8.30, and with two road closures on the way we'll have to leave really early.

Mil is staying in for a couple of days , looks like a water infection.
B had the talk about a home with her again, she said she's not ready for that yet but I don't think she can cope alone now when she's unwell.
She's fine when she's not but there will come a time it will be a must, for her safety and our peace of mind.

I have been all wifey and made B cherry and sultana muffins ,
I was going to put a bit icing on them but he likes cream with them .

MIL also has a touch of Pneumonia,
She's on oxygen and intravenous antibiotics,
But she's chatty enough.
B got home at 5.30 , he's been there since 6 am. He is shattered, those chairs are not the most comfortable ones to sit all day on.
His Sister has gone with clean nightclothes and her wash things .

Your MIL is made of strong stuff like my mum was Oma. She will probably bounce back again. Poor B I can imagine how uncomfortable he must feel.

OH drove, we have dropped little E off and are now picking up fish and chips. What we were going to have for tea will be tomorrow night now!

We had visitors today. Bro in law from the bungalow,then sis in law and hubby came.
We were sat in the garden till 7.30.

Had a bit of bad news this morning, one of our neighbours died last night.
We have always got on with them. Hi wife came to tell us this morning.
She stayed for a cuppa. We have told her she is welcome to come any time for a cuppa and natter.

Hubby out with his pal for a couple of hours later.

Not much for me to do, I'll just make sure everywhere is tidy.

I hope MIL is improving Oma. Are your fingers OK now?

I have GS1 today, and GS2 from school. Both for tea. I am also going to aquafit this morning as I had to miss Monday's class. Its only a 45 minute class and GS can wait in the cafe. DD3 and little E are swimming in the toddler pool at the same so we should be able to meet up with them afterwards.

Appt at the hospital for a heart scan, I had one only a couple of years ago. I seem to be a bit breathless so Dr. Ordered another one. DD not happy that she isn’t able to come with me, she sat in the last time. Sil offered to take me but I want to go to J.Lewis afterwards to return some items. As long as I can park it should be okay.

Oma, I hope Mil had a good night, I hope they don’t discharge her too early.

Dog is lying in the shade then keeps the wandering around in the house .

If the weather isn't too hot you can relax on your patio.
Although some treatments you can't sit in the sun for more than 30 minutes.

We went out for tea last night and had fish and chips , we were both too tired to cook .

MIl had a good night , they have moved her to another ward ,
I'm pleased because they put her on the horrible ward she was on in November , this other ward we know as B has been on it plenty and it's much better.

I have just cleaned my kitchen cupboards out , threw out stuff not getting used or coming up to the use by date,
I then cleaned the kitchen bin and the recycle bin.

B went to Aldi for me so I cleaned the fridge ready and Storm stood looking over my shoulder as I was sat on the floor hoping for any little nice bits he might be able to scrounge out of it ,
He got some wafer thin turkey so he was happy😁

I have put a cardigan on as it's a bit chilly ,perfect for Storm though.
