Been a busy time for hubby in the garden and of course your wifey duties 😇

I got on the floor and gave my fridge a good clean out then couldn't get back up again ,
My knees and hips locked.
I had to bum shuffle into the sitting room and haul myself up onto the sofa,
Not a pretty sight I was like a bull seal flopping about on dry land 🤣🤣

Waitrose delivered and gardener in garden. I feel so feeble today so will take things easy.

Oma, I hope B is feeling slightly better, you have both had your share of viruses this winter. Perhaps you should keep out of the shops or wear a mask.

Gemini, We used to watch a lot of snooker, knew all their names. It is nice that S will have the snooker to watch as there is no golf.

Nanto, I hope you get your grass cut, we had rain earlier but overcast now.

Gem, it's a pity your friends couldn't go to aqua, but at least you were able to make up for there being no class last Monday. My OH is watching snooker as well!

Grauntie, the family fish and chips sounds fun. Your OH is doing a grand job with all that gardening. What veg are you going to grow? I hope the cat's turned up ok.

My OH has excelled himself this morning! In the garden!! I commented yesterday about how there are a lot of tiny seed seedlings popping up so he's spent an hour or so this morning hoeing them all off. He worked hard recently to dig out big weeds and I think he was worried he'd have another good crop of them if he didn't hoe them while they were tiny. He's made a good job of it, and he hates gardening. Then he came in and cooked prawn omelettes for lunch. I've had a lazy morning doing nothing much, but we're going to take Eva over to DS2's in a bit and call in to the garden centre on the way back.

No grass cutting going on here,started raining about 10ish.

Did our errands this morning.Got the lights we wanted for sis in law.

Hubby has got his tomato plants transferred into buckets today. Said it was nice and warm in the greenhouse.

Nan2 it has rained on and off all day here. Hard to imagine we sat in the garden yesterday and I had to move into the shade due to being too hot!

One of my friends was at aqua, so we had coffee after the class. Her DD and SIL are staying for a while but both working from home today so she came. She is a stranger to technology ( her SIL books all her aqua classes) so she wouldn't have thought to let me know A nice surprise to see her though

A wet afternoon and I was happy to stay inside.

Has the cat turned up ? Cats are a law unto themselves, they worry you then just wander in as if nothing has happened

A man came out to look at the facias today, I need them cleaning , he said he would send a email with a price.
I have a feeling it won't be cheap .

We took Eva over to DS2's and as always she was really excited to see her pal, Cooper. We then went to the garden centre and got the plants we wanted, bird seed (I've never seen our bird feeders so popular!), some plastic "trellis" to grow one of the Clematis up, a few other odds and ends, and two actual, real Clematis plants. I've got an appointment with the Consultant tomorrow morning, but will pop in later.

Busy day. GS2 for the day. Library this morning so he will come with me.
I am meeting my friend for an early evening meal. This was arranged before I was asked to have GS2. I will take him with me and DD collect him from there. She is working quite close to there so it works out well

I have haircut at 9.30.
Man got back to me about the guttering he will clean all the facias front back and sides and clean out the guttering £125 ,
I was expecting a lot more so I'm well pleased with that price.
DD is having him do their's too.

Grass is still quite wet, so we are leaving till this afternoon. Sun is shining so should dry it up.

Got the ironing done and cleaned up.

Had my haircut, we then went to the farm shop for a few things,
I also got a nice Bramble preserve,it looks dark and rich , the butchers part sells some nice stuff apart from meat,
We then went into the onsite bakery and bought a slice of strawberry gateau that will do both of us it's huge.

B feeling better when he fancies a cream cake 😁
