Yes I'm ok walking it's when I'm at rest that it hurts,
I complain about Bs greasy marks I dread to think what you have to do to get rid of the marks and stains J gets on his clothes , why do they think it's ok to wear good clothes when they are doing mucky stuff 😱😁
B always gets chesty and horrendous cough with it.

Talking about towns I think it's the same everywhere Daisy ,
High streets are dying aren't they ,
We went to Sunderland our home town a few months ago,
We haven't been for years, I was shocked and saddened how run down it was.
They are doing re development but it's all wine bars and the likes.

I hope everyone has a good Easter Sunday. We have zero plans so will see how the day goes. I know OH wants to go to a garden centre but I'm not sure they are open today. I am going to check.

B not well at all so all the veg we bought for a roast I'm going to blanch and freeze for another day.
Luckily we hadn't taken the joint of meat out of the freezer so no worries there.

I'm all done apart from washing the floors ,
I will have 10 minutes on here then tackled that.

Gem, my OH said let's go to the garden centre today. He didn't believe that they might be closed, but I think they are. Is your GD still on Cloud 9 after her fantastic dance success?

Oma, I'm so sorry to hear B is poorly. Have you persuaded him he needs to see the doctor to get something for his chest?

I can imagine how sad you were to see Sunderland in decline. I'm sure most town centres are the same, run down, empty shops, litter and general neglect. My GD1 goes to school in Bournemouth, and her parents won't let her go into the town because it's too dangerous. It's not long since Bournemouth was elegant, well-cared for and a very attractive place for holiday makers.

Gem, there are still some quite nice residential areas of Stoke and the city has easy access to the Staffordshire Moorlands and the Peak District, but all 6 of the town centres are in a bad way. I hope C & P's DD and family live in a nice area.

I woke with a start this morning! No idea what had woken me at an unearthly hour - until I looked at the time and it was 9.30! I still feel half-asleep, although I have been out and trimmed the edges of the lawn. We're just sitting down with a cup of tea. It's dull and cloudy here, and it's due to rain for the next few days, so I wanted to get some more jobs done in the garden, but they'll have to wait! OH is catching up on a mountain of paper work.

GD1, her OH, H and myself have spent the day with GS1 and his family. They have two quite grown up, boy and girl and they had another little boy just over a year ago. H loves to go there. My GS cooked the dinner GS2 and his wife called in, they were on their way to have lunch with her family, which was nice to see them too. Weather quite sunny but cool.

Nanto busy day for you but lovely to see Tommie and family.

Daisy, I think GD is still very happy about her dance success. And happy her boyfriend and family have just returned from a holiday in Egypt

We have had lovely weather here today.
We went to a local garden centre which was open and bought a couple of plants for the garden.
We sat in the garden this afternoon with tea and cake, watching the cats play, and playing a couple of games of the card game Grauntie recommended. It was most pleasant.

This morning we are going to a couple of shops, home bargains, the range and b&m.We want to get some garden lights for sis in law and her hubby.

On our way home we are getting dinner from KFC.

This afternoon I want to cut the grass, weather permitting.

Nan2 I fancied KFC last week but OH didn't.

Aquafit for me this morning. There are usually no classes on a bank holiday, but our instructor had last Monday off and didn't find a replacement, so must be making up for it! None of my friends will be there so I will just do the class and come home. I do need a few cards though so may pop into M&S or a card shop on my way home.

What a nice day you had and for H to see her baby cousin ,

A bit overcast but seems to be getting brighter,
B still unwell but he slept ok so that's a bonus.

I'm tired this morning, I never stopped yesterday and this morning I have done my usual housework , cleaned the oven door inside and out and put the chopping boards into a bleach soak.
I will tackle them soon ,
I was going to clean the insides of the windows and mirrors, I charged my Karcher up but now I think I will do it either later or another day.
My joints are grumbling 😁

Good moaning.
It’s been a peaceful Easter here, except for Friday when we all went to DD2s for fish and chips which was very jolly.
OH has been very busy in the garden and has made a splendid job of my veg patch. He has also painted my shed/greenhouse and my bench which sits in front. I have pottered about, doing housewifely duties.
I am feeding my friend’s cat. He is adorable, but he has gastric problems! Luckily, friend left special carpet cleaner out and I have managed to get the ‘whoopsie’ stain out of the lounge carpet. 😬 He wasn’t there this morning, which is unusual. I’m keeping my fingers crossed and hoping he hasn’t left home.
We ladies are playing cards this afternoon as usual as none of us has any other plans.
