I did my aqua class, went to M&S to collect an order, then home for shower and lunch, then reflexology at 1.00.
No more plans apart from cooking tea. I have already done the printing for tomorrows meeting.

WeeGranny, I think doing something normal must feel like a great deal of progress. Well done - you clearly enjoyed your outing. I hope you weren't too tired afterwards. Yes, it is strange sitting with someone else driving your car. I'm sure your appetite will improve - it's still relatively early days.

Your DS could have done without the flight delay, but he must be pleased to get his move over and done with - his new flat sounds better in every way.

Oma, everyone will enjoy B's birthday by the sound of it. One job tends to lead to another, especially in the kitchen. I love looking at all those lovely restoration projects and show home kitchens, but they aren't always practical. I feel your pain about the glass shelves with having a glass kitchen table.

Gem, that was a good day, you got everything done, had fun and relaxation and an easy meal to cook tonight. I'm just off to do our salmon.

I got a few jobs done this morning and after lunch we took Eva up to the paddock as we'd promised to drop something off for our friends who own it. When we arrived there was a lady with a young spaniel doing training in there (our friends are very generous letting anyone in the village use it). So we walked round the outside to keep Eva occupied. This doesn't really work very well as she is far too excited to walk nicely on the lead and pulls like mad - we still have training tasks to do! Then the lady left and we let her off lead. She ran, and ran and ran, stopping to roll on her squeaky ball and then running again. Half an hour later OH was complaining his hands and face were cold but Eva was still full of beans. It was dark by the time we got home.

They're both having a snooze in the living room now.

WG Should you be considering walking out on your own yet. I had my first outing today too, I felt quite nervous and slept for about an hour when I got back.

Not been too busy a day for me. Did the usual day to day jobs.
I cleaned the cupboard where the breakfast cereals live.
It surprising the amount of crumbs that accumulate in there.
Cleaned the back porch and downstairs loo.
Finished writing the Christmas cards.

Good morning ladies.

I'm going into town with hubby this morning.
We'll go and see DIL at work, to take her birthday presents. It's her birthday at the beginning of next month, but they are going away at the weekend.

Hubby will then meet up with his pal, and I'll go for some shopping.
On our way home we are going in Iceland, I need a few things.

Managed to move some stuff from the big freezer to the kitchen freezer, so I've got a bit of space.
We need some pizzas, so I'll probably do one for dinner.

Library Friends meeting this morning, the last of the year. It is my usual volunteer morning, so I will go straight from the meeting room to the library to do some work.
This afternoon I am taking myself to the cinema to watch the new Wicked film.
OH will be on the golf course and GS1 is coming on Thursday this week, so I decided to see the film.

I'm rather too late to say Good Morning!! I was about to post when OH said he'd poured me a cup of tea. I went to get it and ended up cleaning the kitchen. I've scrubbed all the work surfaces, cleaned all the machines/gadgets, washed the tiles down and for the umpteenth time tried to rearrange things a bit.

Does anyone else find themselves swapping from job to job instead of just getting on with one thing?

It's cold but sunny, and my next job is to clean the inside of my car windows, especially the windscreen. I find it really annoying when the sun's low in the sky and gets in your eyes when you're driving.

Eva is also ready for walkies, so I'll take her when I've done my car and I'll pop back later.
