    Good morning.

Oma, what a journey, gut you are there now.

Lizzie, so sorry about your friend. I know it was expected, but its still sad.

No plans for me today, will just take the day as it comes.
Hubby will be out for his meet up with his pal.

Dinner is breaded cod, baby potatoes, veg and parsley sauce.

      Good morning ladies.

Nan2 I like a Take it as it comes day.

I'm glad your OH made it home in one piece from Ikea. The Leeds branch is all on one floor, I imagine two floors and no working escalator just adds to the misery!

Oma, I hope you and B have good day today.

The sun is out! Rain forecast this afternoon however. OH is hoping to be off the golf course before the rain comes.
It's half term and GS2 day today. We will be collecting GS3 from his new nursery after lunch. It is his first week and he's just doing half days this week, hence me picking him up today. Both boys will be excited
Golf club dinner for OH tonight, so salmon for me.

        Morning Nanto, ladies.
Woke to a lovely day, it supposed to rain about 3 , as my niece said it wouldn't be the lakes if it didn't rain,
I slept soundly till just after 5 when a couple of sheep decided to have a chat just outside our window๐Ÿ˜
We might go to the aquarium today we looking through the what's on booklet see what we fancy.

Good Tuesday morning, everyone (even though it feels like Monday to me!)

Nanto, I could just fancy your dinner today, even though we are likely to be having fish as well!

Gem, half term is busy for you. I hope GS3 enjoys his new nursery, and the journey isn't too awful for you. It makes a difference when you know the roads but I can imagine it's a bit daunting to start with.

Oma, pleased to hear you slept well. I hope the sheep don't make a habit of having their morning chat outside your window every morning.

We had rain in the night, and it's quite chilly - not great for all those on half term. It's now raining again, so definitely no gardening for us today and I've looked at the enormous pile of washing and decided today it not its lucky day! It will have to wait.

Daisy, Rain for us too and still threatening, not much chance of going out today. I have a huge pile of washing, it will have to go in the dryer.

Oma, I hope you donโ€™t get any rain so that you can get out and about. Donโ€™t you dare look for dust.

Gemini, busy week for you being half term. The boys will be pleased to see each other. I hope the journey to the new nursery isnโ€™t a problem.

H on half term, not the weather for going out. I donโ€™t have any plans to go out either.

Nice house and garden Lizzie. The house looks light and airy.

We've had a bit of rain, but it looks like its trying to brighten up now.

It is a lovely house Nanto, I enjoyed going for coffee and sitting in the garden with the friend!

It is raining here at the moment, dry most of the day though.

It does look a nice house Lizzie.

That washing will have to wait Daisy.

Is it the aquarium at Windermere Oma?

It has rained on and off and is cool.
GS2 and I collected little E who was so excited to see us both. I don't think I have ever seen him happier, and he's a very happy like boy generally!
He loved traveling back in the car with his cousin. Two of the staff assumed GS2 was little E's brother and said they looked alike, which made GS2 very proud

Gem, little E is such a sweetheart and obviously adores his big cousins. And so is GS2 a sweetie - proud of his little cousin and happy to be taken for his big brother.

Lizzie, I love that house - so light and airy, but sad that your friend has had to leave it to go into care.

Plant, it's not good weather for half-term is it. We've had heavy rain most of the day, and it's cold as well. Still, the gardens are very grateful, they were bone dry.

Oma, If it's been raining for you, I hope it hasn't stopped you doing what you wanted to.

I've had a very lazy day - feeling tired and washed out. OH has been adapting the slide-out bin thingy from Ikea to fit under our kitchen sink, ready for when we have to separate out food waste next month. As always, he's done a good job and there is still room to put cleaning materials etc on the other side of the unit.

Daisy, the man is now 90 years old, his wife passed away a couple of years ago, she had been in a care home for 8 years, the poor lady had her brain damaged during open heart surgery! All she could do was speak, couldn't move anything at all, very sad, she was so active then ended up like that.

They are lovey houses, very popular as well.

                          Evening ladies
We have had a lovely day,
We decided to do the cruise Windermere it took 75 minutes and was very relaxing,
We had a lovely cup of coffee and a lemon muffin while we were on there,
It rained for about 10 minutes but we were inside so we didn't mind .
We then went into Windermere town .
The sun is shining still so we have been very lucky .
We are both tired now so just lazing around now.

                            Oma, what a lovely day

Daisy, for an active person like you I'm sure it must be hard being so tired xxxx

Our next door neighbour and little girl came for a short visit between her getting home from nursery and little E going home. She is a year younger than E so they don't play together as such but always seem pleased to see each other

Lizzie, what a sad thing to happen to that lady. I can certainly see why those houses are so popular.

Oma, what a beautiful way to spend the day, and you've been very lucky with the weather. I bet the boat trip, and the views, were great.

Gem, I think it's lovely when young children play alongside each other like that, and it's fascinating to see them gradually interact as the relative age difference decreases. Little E must have gone home a very happy little boy today. You're right, I bore myself silly when I have days like today. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

Good morning. The sun is trying to make an appearance.

Daisy, hope you feel less tired today.

Lizzie how sad about what happened to your friends wife.

                                Nothing special happening here today.

Salad for dinner. I know its not salady weather, but hubby has asked for one. We like something hot with a salad.
We are having southern fried chicken goujons today.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.
