Oh dear Libra, you must have been tired!!
Mimi, how did the geriatric cat get on?!
I hope your GD day is going well Daisy.
Flippin' phone Qwerty, mine is still a puzzle to me in some ways!
Well done on getting the grass cut Nan2, we haven't done ours yet.

We had a lovely time with auntie. Nice lunch in tearoom (for which she paid although it was not her turn!!) and a look around a couple of little shops and a short walk by the river. It was sunny and lovely to be out. We accepted auntie's offer of coffee and biscuits at her house when we dropped her off. Then to Asda for OH's bloods taken.

Oh my goodness Libra you must have been tired 🚍

Libra - what are you like! You must have been really tired, though to fall asleep on a bus jolting and bouncing around.

Oma - how is B after his trip to 'that place' today?

Gem, I'm so glad you enjoyed your afternoon with auntie, and Mimi having her spa day yesterday with DD.

I'm getting lawn envy - our grass is growing but it's too wet to cut and it needs scarifying and reseeding where Eva has left her calling card!

GD2 was out at the far end of the play ground when I arrived to collect her. She yelled "Grandma!" and came running over for me to pick her up and swing her round. I managed it, but only just. She's getting too big and I'm getting too weak and feeble! She was very keen to tell everybodyt that she had cho ....sen what she was wearing all by herself - pink skirt with ducks on, a darker pink fleece and grey woolly tights.

We await the next sentence Daisy!!

Which reminds me of over the weekend when texting DD2 I knocked a full glass of cold water over myself, soaking the sofa and my trousers, but fortunately not the phone. The text sent when I was reacting to the spill, so DD got a strange text which abruptly ended. 10 minutes later I texted her to explain

Glad we got the garden done yesterday.
Plenty of jobs to do inside today.

Yes Daisy,we are waiting to read the rest of your post.

Hope you all have a good day, despite the weather.

Daisy, waiting with bated breath πŸ˜‰

Raining here too but at least it’s not so cold. Change of plans yesterday, so instead of gardening in the afternoon we cleaned the conservatory top to bottom inside. It looks lovely now, it does get neglected in the winter, just need to rehang the blinds and clean the paint work outside,

After lunch DH is going to his bowls club, not to play, he can’t do that yet but to have a chat and a cuppa and catch up,with everything, I am out with my friend, a bit of retail therapy and a coffee and lots of chat.

Have ve a good day everyone 🌞

                        Good morning everyone.

Nan2, that picture sums up the weather here this morning!
Seeing friends will do both of you good Enfys.

I think it will be muddy for my GS's sponsor event this afternoon (which I have written about in my journal so won't repeat myself!)
The golf competition OH was to play this morning is being played tomorrow or Thursday.

Have a good day everyone, keep dry if there is rain!

Raining here so guttering people haven't turned up yet, but kitchen fitters are here! Trying to escape noise of destruction.....not very successfully! Thankfully, I've got to go out this afternoon, so a bit of respite then!

Anyone on here have any experience of Vitamin D deficiency? Seems I have it! Been told to go to chemist and get some pills. Need some sunshine which seems to be in short supply at the moment. Will have to suggest holiday in sun for next winter, too late for this year unfortunately.

Hope everyone has a good day whatever they're up to xx

My eldest daughter has it WG, diagnosed a couple of months ago, and a friend has just been diagnosed with it (Maybe it is the current thing to diagnose?!)
                            I hope the pills help.

                            Good luck with kitchen upheaval!

Tesco and GS2's birthday present are both due for delivery this morning - perhaps I should get up

I have it too WG, mine was very low, I have vitiligo, so cannot sit in sun. there are very few foods containing vit.D. Good luck with the kitchen WG.

Hope the rain clears up for your GS's sponsored walk Gemini

We have rain here too after a beautiful day yesterday. Not sure what to do today, some dusting and hoovering might have to be done and I would like to pop down to Dunelm to look at some single duvet covers. I am thinking of using the two single duvets on my bed for the summer, I find it such a fight to put my duvet cover on my 5ft duvet, although GD does help if she is around, but I need some duvet covers to match my room.
