    Pretty little girl Qwerty!

Certainly a work in progress Aggie! I bet it'll be lovely when it's finished!

Oma, hope sickness has stopped and you're feeling better.

LG I hope you've managed to get the birthday cake made and that DD is making progress.

Cheated with my contribution for lunch at Church tomorrow and got a cold meat platter and coleslaw from M&S! My church is joining with another and tomorrow is our last meeting as a single congregation. So, the powers that be decided a lunch might be a good idea. Upwards of 50 coming and I hope we've got enough food! There's also a Baptism and the family are providing a cake which we're having with prosecco! So, if there's not enough food, I'll just finish the cake and fizz!

Bought a slow cooker this morning, so at least we won't be living on ready meals for the next couple of weeks!

Heading off now to tackle the food and under sink cupboards!

Enjoy the rest of the day ladies whatever you're up to!

        WeeGranny,pleased GS got home safely.
        Love my slow cooker.

Well for someone that didn't need much shopping,we came back loaded up.
Stocked up at the butchers, and in Asda.

Rain cleared up about 9ish, and seems to have tirned very mild.

Enfys, you are coming back down to earth now. I'm sure you will be back to normal soon.

Good to hear GS got back OK but tired WG

          Nan2, that sounds like us!

With no real plan to go out at all today we ended up spending a lot!
Mind you the biggest purchase was on behalf of my mum, for which I will be reimbursed of course. We bought a telly! We went to John Lewis wanting an LG one as that's what she already has, but just needs something bigger. We only went to look and ask, but there was one boxed up which had just been returned as it was the wrong size for the persons room, and £100 pounds was knocked off! If mum is not happy with it we can return it.
We then went to M&S and OH bought a couple of pairs of trousers and I bought a blouse.
Then to Next where I bought GS2 a dinosaur cagoule (on DD's wishlist) for his Easter present. I also bought a hoodie top for his birthday on behalf of mum, so once again not really my spend. Then after a coffee and shared cake in M&S cafe we came home. I then bought GS2's birthday present online, a John Deere ride on tractor and trailer.
That's enough spending for one day

Our dog training session today was exhausting - for me and Eva. The trainer hires an all-weather court and it means we can walk how ever many dogs turn up round and round and help them to get used to being near other dogs, but minding their own business. Today a gang of 14-16 year olds thought they had the right to take over the court to kick a ball around, and when they found out we were there for 2 hours they just started shouting and jumping up and down and kicking the ball at the fencing - which makes a loud noise. Poor Eva doesn't like raised voices, ever, and she was really freaked out by it all. It was 2 hours of hard work for both of us, but we stuck it out. So we are now both shattered, and I'm just off to bed.

I'll catch up with you all in the morning, night, night. x

I'm hoping that GRU clock changes automatically. If not I'll need instructions please. Thanks.

It's officially British summer time, so i hope they have got it wrong about having snow next week.

We were both very warm when we woke up this morning, must have been a mild night.

                        I'll be back later.

Nana - as Nanto says, the time should change automatically if your profile is set up to do that.

I've checked your profile and it is set to DST (Daylight Saving time) so should be correct. If it's not let us know.

Same for anybody else who's time is 'wrong'.

Good morning, everyone. It's damp and dull here - I hope we get a glimpse of the promised sunshine.

Gem - I hope your mum is pleased with her new telly - it sounds too good a bargain to miss. It sounds as though you had a successful day.

Aggie - it's so exciting planting up a new garden. (Well, I think it is). I'm still adding to our front garden which is already 2 years old but still has some bare patches.

Wee Granny - I hope your Church lunch goes well. Plenty of prosecco should make sure the two congregations get on well together. Plus cake. What could possibly go wrong. The slow cooker is a good idea while your kitchen work is being done.

Oma - how are you today?

Just off to see Qwerty's photos.
